Bonsoir Monsieur, the weather reminded me of home...Martinique. As a Caribbean native harsh weather is something one gets used to. I love downpours.
Yes. But I have experienced both, and Caribbean downpours and Belgian downpours, although both can be harsh, are also very different.

Each place we go, we are immersed in a new culture, a new world. I'm off to China tomorrow, already preparing myself for the cultural challenge and enjoyment.

Not since the "Great Christian Knife Fight" of April '11.
This thread reminds of how everyone points at others when they fart.
The thread has never been and never will be a "Golden Room" or a "Christian Thread".
This thread is internet equivalent of a public street. Anyone can come, anyone can talk and anyone can leave. No one owns it.
Perhaps it's become something of that now, but it was much more the Golden room" and a more christian based thread at one time.

Bonsoir mon ami, yes we did go to Ghent, and we love Bruges as well. Yes, I am fond of Rubens he is one of my favorite painters. Are you fond of Rubens?
He is not one of my favorites (those large paintings of buxom women become repetitive), but I do have great respect for him.

I trust you went to the Ghent museum.

It's an expression...'tongue in cheek' do you not have that expression there? It means cheeky sarcasm or something like it...

He surely does Brother... time flies when The Truth steers the wind.

LOL... cool pic. Is there nothing I can do to have the sheet removed? Surely Catcher1 is capable of forgiveness? He's far too idealistic to not be.

Really? I don't think I've seen that one... he's the guy who played Hercules in the series.

I've never seen anyone ask before.

You would probably require representation.

Oh, I'm afraid that's quite out of the question, Miss.

Some say I'm too eccentric for litigation, that my mind tends to wander...but that's all secondary to the fact that I'm currently embroiled in some rather strenuous negotiations with the Keebler Elves.

Alright Mr Wonka, I hope it works out for you. Can I just represent myself?

Don't be absurd!

Please! Madam, for your own good, hire an electrician!

The amount of voltage running through modern appliances could kill a Wurblonken ten times over and still have enough juice to work an electric clam opener.
