I can't speak for IANS but for me I like knowing what a specific passagae means to someone else...a different view point. I also am curious why they choose a specific passage...what it means to them and how it affects their life.
If I don't know those things then it becomes a random posting with little or no significance as far as making any comments about it. I have a tendency to scroll by scripture that is posted that has no commentary with it. I much prefer reading something that is a put in one's own words.
That is just my thinking but I am also looking at this as to hoping to understand how and why others think. If they give no commentary then it is left up to me to try and decide what they are thinking and that is rather useless since we know little about each other here other than what words we post.
She does not want to preach, she simply likes to write the bible on the billboard.
Maybe other Christians simply enjoy reading it. Why criticize her for that?
The title of the billboard is [why should Jesus love me]. I think her writing verses is appropriate. That not mean she has to elaborate on its meaning.
