"To be, or not to be, that is the question:
Whether 'tis Nobler in the mind to suffer
The Slings and Arrows of outrageous Fortune,
Or to take Arms against a Sea of troubles,

Devoutly to be wished. To die to sleep,
To sleep, perchance to Dream; Aye, there's the rub,
For in that sleep of death, what dreams may come,
When we have shuffled off this mortal coil,
Must give us pause. There's the respect
That makes Calamity of so long life:
For who would bear the Whips and Scorns of time,
The Oppressor's wrong, the proud man's Contumely,
The pangs of despised Love, the Law’s delay,
The insolence of Office, and the Spurns
That patient merit of the unworthy takes,
When he himself might his Quietus make
With a bare Bodkin? Who would Fardels bear,
To grunt and sweat under a weary life,
But that the dread of something after death,
The undiscovered Country, from whose bourn
No Traveller returns, Puzzles the will,
And makes us rather bear those ills we have,
Than fly to others that we know not of.
Thus Conscience does make Cowards of us all,
And thus the Native hue of Resolution
Is sicklied o'er, with the pale cast of Thought,
And enterprises of great pitch and moment,
With this regard their Currents turn awry,
And lose the name of Action. Soft you now,
The fair Ophelia? Nymph, in thy Orisons
Be all my sins remembered."

I hate bigotry. A few years ago I posted here often and stated again about a month ago. The reason for my absence is the hate and bigotry on display here. As I said you have made a choice here so be it.
Hello CC
There are times when I stand back and feel 'it's none of my business' Brother... Overcoming being the key and we move on... as you have.

Are you back in Hawaii or still in Florida?
We were in Hawaii last +- April at the time of the Blue Moon. Also a double rain-bow came down just in front of our building, twixt us and the shore-line.

Take care and God Bless

Today's Prayer

Dear God, Today I am burdened for my country and every nation. I pray for the installation of spiritual leaders to carry out Your will. I pray for the leaders in power now, that You would move in their hearts and minds to lead in the right direction to accomplish Your purpose. Please forgive us for our indifference and our sin. I pray that Christians will turn from their wicked ways and rededicate their lives to You and Your service; and that other people living in sin will turn from that sin in repentance and belief in You. Have mercy on us, Lord. Thank you. In Jesus' name, amen.

Strive for moral decency and, when/if you fail, go for honesty - acknowledge the failure and apologize.
<quoted text>
Please don't be sorry for helping someone in need. Regardless of your motivation, you helped someone. Second guessing that is just being cruel to yourself.
The most important thing to remember about helping someone else is don't lord it over them like you are better for their need.
<quoted text>
Me too. Uhm...sorry, stupid question, but I'm an atheist - does prayer seriously help you here? For me, it feels like you're just telling yourself "always be like this and try not to screw up." Is that what prayer is? A cognitively and decisive pact with self?
<quoted text>
Ah, yeah, see, here is where I'm baffled. Why do you have to tell a perfect being anything? It can only be for you, right.
Clearly I'm missing something here, but I just don't get the last paragraph. I'll stop at "I don't think you need to reaffirm your relationship with a perfect being in order to keep your morality on the right track." and not say anything, anything at all about subjective realities :)
her posts are clearly bragging her "moral superiority" to the tread, and of course to her ego.

They are plagiarized .

I admire your great nation and, most of all, your people. I don't believe there are more honest people on the planet than Americans.
I know you're going to scoff at that, because you are American, but truly, I have learned a lot about self-honesty from Americans. It was very refreshing to share apartments with them and learn how they talk of self and explain their desires and motivations.
I'm not going to scoff....It is your opinion of Americans....:-)

Not everyone is Honest...But I try and have taught my Sons to be Honest....Are the Japanese more reserved and do not share feelings?

http://scores.espn.go.com/nba/ preview?gameId=400278658 This is going to be the most important game of the year,so far,for the Miami Heat! You see the price for some of the seats still left for this game?! Up to EIGHT THOUSAND DOLLARS!! Obviously,courtside seats. I think LeBron and Wade are gonna' be in 'a zone' and the Heat will take 'em. That would be incredible if the Pacers go into Southbeach and take that game,but I just don't see it happenin' Not right now with the way the Heat are going. Just keepin' it REAL.
Yeah,this is gonna' be a good'un! But you can expect LeBron to 'clown 'em' and the Heat'll end up takin' it.

when people in a relationship fight, there is sufficient blame " to go around".

Indeed. We live in Fl. for now. I love Hawaii as well. Yes we saw many rainbows when we were there. On our last day a man gave his life to the Lord and was being baptized in the Pacific, glory to God. Hope to go back one day if the Lord wills it.
