I do find it enlightening that it didnt bother you to much until HL mentioned she should apologize, and now its gotten into mockery and name calling on your part.
That's also correct. I never minded. Happy Lesbo did. Or minded for me. Or was playing with Lil Whiskas. You'd have to ask her.

But I did want to see if this self-forgiving Christian would forgive herself, as I have commented that so many do.

The mockery is not about her jumping to a conclusion, nor even for her posting her defamatory comment. For some reason, I don't mind it nearly as much from the women like Juicy and Lil Whiskas. And after a few weeks posting with Christians, I'm getting more used to it.

My mockery was for her refusing to apologize. It's so frigging easy, but not for some of these Christians here.

You know my major theses. This was useful to me. What power of the Spirit? What moral training in church? All there is there is crap and forgive yourself. It's a bogus claim of moral superiority.

Did you know that some unbelievers actually take children to church to learn morals? As if.

I don't see how.

Christians already consider us god haters, which means that they think the worst of us. And I believe that the rest of the culture is good with us, in part because of opinions like mine. We actually have moral fiber, and take a moral stand that consists of more than simply regurgitating the cruel and irrational values of an ancient culture.

Nope. Exodus 9:12 "But the Lord hardened Pharaoh’s heart and he would not listen to Moses and Aaron, just as the Lord had said to Moses." is just one passage among many in Exodus where it's quite clearly laid out that it's Yahweh who is taking away Pharaoh's free will to cause needless suffering and death. Sorry. That's how it's written. Complain to the Jews I guess. But making up false stories about God's holy word to make yourself feel better about it is probably only going to piss Yahweh off.

Indeed. I'm not much of a sports fan but have a friend that is diehard 49ers fan. Would you believe that until I met him I didn't know who Tim Tebow was? Ha, this is when he was playing at UF. Anyway Tebow was to speak at a church in Tx but pulled out becasue some say they preach hate. From what I can find the pastor stands on the word so yes sadly many will call that hate speech. Again I wonder how long before the day comes when we may lose freedom of speech to a system that hates the very law of God? What is good what is right, what is pure of heart is hated and the same system of laws stand up for child porn calling that free speech! Going to suck for people that try that on judgement day. Shalom.
Now be the day that each and everyone has the opportunity to make things right, to have dialogue and come to an understanding. Not being afraid to venture out into a path of obedience and faith rather than wait, believing they have time but judgment comes upon them swiftly and suddenly. Freedom of speech isn't one sided and it seems they cannot differentiate between disliking the sin and disliking the human being who sins. If we had children of our own, who walked the sinful path, without a doubt we would and should still love them, but would we condone their behavior? Would we be supportive of their actions because we fear their opinions of us?

When we stand on principle and not be hypocritical, they will only learn to respect us even more, and they would understand eventually. Sometimes, tough love is necessary and in some situations, absolutely warranted. If and when I fall into sin, whether I lust with my eyes and within my thoughts, when I wrongfully accuse someone, when I look upon evil things and entertain the conversations of the wicked, I am hard on myself and I ask forgiveness. I am by no means perfect, this is why I understand the things that can hold us back. When we give into sin, how could we ever say we know, love or respect The Most High who many call a God? Is He lax on His principles?

Do people want His Laws done away with because they favor some people who are sinful, or they lives lifestyles even behind closed doors that are far less than righteous or proper (for lack of a better word)? People somehow can't see that the direction the world is heading in over the past few hundred years have not been better and the world despite our advances in technology has not been better. There is still greed, a rising human mortality rate, more diseases and even more poverty. And the weapons we have today (nuclear), can destroy the world 10 times over, yet man wants to live a life outside of moral Law. The excuse is that it's archaic and no longer applies to Free Thinkers. We shall all see, the day they take their words back.

Shalom Chris.

And that isn't a red flag to you? You should probably shun and oppose slave masters, not glory in them.
And yet these are the same people who lecture that they have a monopoly on morality. Amazing.

Exactly. Forgiveness is always about the forgiver, not the forgiven. That's a important moral lesson that too many people don't seem to get.

Interesting that you seem to comprehend that part of scripture but not why The Most High would punish His rebellious children.

You are mentioned in the bible

18:22 Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable.

20:13 If a man lies with a man as one lies with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They must be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads.

So you have no problem with polygamy then?

The "Most High" would only have cause to punish it's rebellious children if it had no clue what the ramifications of creating them would be. Furthermore, this deity supposedly loves it's human creation, so why would it punish them punitively for eternity for guessing wrong, instead of lovingly correcting them? Is this a loving deity who really wants human company, or just a sadistic trickster?

Adam, you really need to address your obsession with homosexuality. And also, I'm not a man who lies with other men as with a woman. Sorry to disappoint you.

Then why are you on a thread for believers? I have not seen once where you have given proper reason for your unbelief and why it would be foolish for us to continue believing. I am yet to see where you contribute positively to this thread. How about you start right now?
