Genesis 9:20-25, reinterpreted:

"Noah, a man of the soil, proceeded to plant a vineyard. When he drank some of its wine, he became drunk and lay uncovered inside his tent with his kitten. Ham, the father of Canaan, saw his father's kitten and told his two brothers outside. But Shem and Japheth took a garment and laid it across their shoulders; then they walked in backward and covered their father’s kitten. Their faces were turned the other way so that they would not see their father's kitten exposed. When Noah awoke from his wine and found out what his youngest son had done to his kitten, he said,“Cursed be Canaan! The lowest of slaves will he be to his brothers.”

Noah was very odd about kittens.

Notice how up to this point, they fail to address homosexual or heterosexual incest between consenting adults. Because they know the consenting adults bull doesn't fly and that immorality is immorality, and those who claim we are on the wrong side of history needs to see what happened to those Empires of the past that have been Lawless and rebellious against Yahweh Elohiym, the Most High One of Israel.

I kept an eye out looking for a response, but I don't think that was ever answered. Maybe it was.
You know that particular Commandment in the myth, was the first thing the deity did after the creation. The deity felt so strongly about it, the deity sanctified it and made it holy. Then, decided it was important enough to reiterate and include as a Commandment. Law.
After you've read the bible 3 or 4 times, there are a few things that become very clear.
One is; The deity in the myth is a stickler for the details.
I know this, if I had the belief of the Christian theist, I'd want to follow it all very carefully.
Very carefully.
A stickler for details, certainly. Indeed, was there ever a more micromanaging god than Yahweh? I could hardly get through Leviticus and all the mind-numbing laws and rules. I have a friend who's family are ultra-orthodox Jews, and when they come to visit he regales us with stories about daily life with them. It's ridiculous from beginning to end, including asking the Gentile to do things for them that are supposedly against Jewish law.

I don't see what difference that makes. There were human settlements on other continents, sometimes preceding the Hebrews, sometimes not. The point is that Yahweh seems completely unaware of them. In fact, Yahweh seems to have gotten all it's information from the Hebrews, not the other way around.

Reasonable doubt? About what? Or planted by the Devil like dinosaur bones? Why had God forsaken all those other people?

Indeed. I'm not much of a sports fan but have a friend that is diehard 49ers fan. Would you believe that until I met him I didn't know who Tim Tebow was? Ha, this is when he was playing at UF. Anyway Tebow was to speak at a church in Tx but pulled out becasue some say they preach hate. From what I can find the pastor stands on the word so yes sadly many will call that hate speech. Again I wonder how long before the day comes when we may lose freedom of speech to a system that hates the very law of God? What is good what is right, what is pure of heart is hated and the same system of laws stand up for child porn calling that free speech! Going to suck for people that try that on judgement day. Shalom.

Thank you sir, enjoyed the judging apparatus as well. But your writings are far more effective in nailing these freethinkers imo.
Thank you Mr. Trifecta1. The 'Othersiders' come in here not wanting to listen to us, but expect us to listen to their Lawless BS. I love people, we all should but we should stand up for righteousness and denounce evil. All sorts of wickedness and perversion are running rampant on this land. Prophecy is being fulfilled because this Lawless generation and the ones before it who didn't teach morality, is causing the sins to pile up. When Yahweh's cup of wrath is full, then it will be judgment and a great multitude shall be caught unawares. Why are people lovers of pleasures and lusts and lean upon their own understanding and are not lovers of obedience, morality and righteousness? Why can't people heed the warnings about the dangers just around the corner?

Why must people, mortal and most certainly finite, test and tempt The Most High One? What is there to gain by this? What do they believe will become of their fight for rights and they themselves? Some of these people in here, because they are related to or have a friend that is gay, suddenly change their morals so that they do not hurt their loved one(s). they have been tested and are failing their test. They have proven unlike Job that they are more lovers of themselves rather than of the Eternal Father and of everlasting life. They have gone aside, and have forfeited every other good thing that they have done and that they stand for because their one transgression is so detestible. Homosexuality is against Family, and being against family and in support of fruitlessness is being against The Creator.

Yes, Lesbians can still have children and yes, gay men can still impregnate women, but why would they do that? Why will a gay person indulge in a moment of straightness just to reap reward that is undeserved? I tell you my friend, the Lightning that flashes from teh east and unto the west as in the days of the coming of Yahshua Ha Mashiach (the Savior), shall bring much damage and destruction upon the land and shall consume the wicked for they stand against Him. There are no believer or non believer that can claim they worship or believe in """'God'" """ (as they would put it) and yet be against His Law. this would be contrary and utter foolishness.

Shalom.

Andrew (CS).

<quoted text>The differences that you failed to mention is that the nation of Israel was, numerous times, rebuked for having such a superiority complex based on "God" choosing. It was explained to them that His choosing had everything to do with the promises made to Abraham and not them. They were told, several times, to not think that their being descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, amounts to anything if they aren't as obedient and faithful as Abraham was. And then, in the same religious book, we read of the many punishments and captivities that befell Israel for their lack of faith and obedience. Obviously, what's recorded wasn't so that we could look up to Israel, or envy them. It's so that we can read of the mistakes they made and learn from them.
But the fact remains that the Hebrew Bible describes a God which showed very unjust favoritism for one tribe, the consistency of that favoritism notwithstanding. And the Hebrews had to have some explanation for when bad things happened to them, right? Just as Christians do today. Something terrible happens, and it's your lack of faith that is the cause, regardless of how much collateral damage happens to the innocent.
