I've always said on here, long before your arrival... that the only difference between those who aren't saved and those who are saved is trusting in the atonement of Christ to save them (along those lines at various points).<quoted text>
So, you'd agree, that people are people, and they do things and live their lives while along the way we interact with others, who do the same things.
But, for some reason, those people suddenly are assigned an inferior status because they do not share your belief in your religious mythology, and sometimes, even when they do.
An added note: Some people take believing on Jesus as simply just believing. So they believe that no matter what they do (even if they backslide) they will be saved. But the devils believe also and there is no salvation for them...
But the believing that The Lord Jesus and His Apostles are talking about is "continual" trust and obedience. If one falls, usually they repent (that is, genuine repentance and turning from wicked ways)... but if they don't repent then they will die in their unrepentant sin.
