LOL. Funny.
Yeah, I saw that this morning when you linked to your circular reasoning poster. Unlike this one, it was a photobucket slide show, and I clicked on about a dozen or so of them. I think the corn flake one was second.
Honey Boo-Boo is on the TV. I've got to go.
Yeah, I linked that to the album, which is fine, peruse as you like.

The corn flake/miracle is one of my favorites.

First of all, I missed your so called ideas because they were lame. This is why you believed they wooshed over my head but they didn't; I was walking on them all this time trampled in the abysmal muck.
Secondly; don't fool yourself into believing you speak proper English. You say one fish many fishes, you say one sheep many sheeps, you spell Saviour >Savior< and you spell Colour >Color<.
Thirdly, you're not more special than anyone else and your ideas are basically just replayed babble. Why don't you go to an atheist or homosexual thread where you can find common ground, or go have a heart to heart conversation with the apes at the San Fransisco zoo? I'm sure you would blend in just fine.

Everyone should take a stand against you mon claire. You're bad news and even a worse influence on this Topix thread trying to change it to a Topix that suits you more. There are many in the world like me chum, unafraid and most certainly not easily intimidated. I think it best you go have a cup of tea and a slice or two of toast, go have a shower and go lay down friend. No one in here will get banned because of the likes of you, but I feel somehow that you wouldn't be so expressive in public.

27 Early the next morning Abraham got up and returned to the place where he had stood before the Lord. 28 He looked down toward Sodom and Gomorrah, toward all the land of the plain, and he saw dense smoke rising from the land, like smoke from a furnace.

For a certainty, this area has been barren ever since! That blast... atomic... which maybe hasn't been discovered... yet?

An interesting thing too is that of the 'salt', taking into point that of the sodium...
http://thoriummsr.com/intro/facts-about-thori...

(2) can consume waste nuclear fuel. TMSRs in the modern view are actually two nuclear plants in one. They can provide energy and burn up nuclear waste and like all nuclear reactors have no polluting emissions or CO2.

Is this why there is no mentions of 'waste'– radioactivity - there? Except! eg.

Jordan's Radioactive Water Problem
A critical $1 billion engineering project in Jordan could be complicated by radium.
The Dead Sea and the Jordan River, which feeds it, are drier than ever

The water sits in the pores and holes of the Disi aquifer, an expanse of sandstone some 500 meters beneath the desert in southern Jordan and northwestern Saudi Arabia.

Much of the water in the Disi aquifer essentially hasn’t moved since it began dripping into the ground during the Pleistocene era, some 30 000 years ago

a report in the journal Environmental Science & Technology describing the Disi water as highly radioactive.

To see this on the map... is interesting.

Then the salt...

... Those deposits were formed when ancient oceans evaporated (dried up), leaving sodium chloride behind. Earth movements eventually buried those deposits. Now they can be mined to remove the sodium chloride.

Sodium reacts violently with water.

Either way, there is signs of this violent blast!

What do they know, that we do not, but should?
Boy, you really do have intelligence...LOL They were kicked out, they didn't leave by choice. ;) They certainly did not leave by choice. You really don't know the Bible, do you? Yes, they did know the pleasures of heaven, that is why they tried to overthrow God, they wanted to control it. Two thirds of the angels kicked their sorry butts and got thrown out, they did not choose to leave.

That wasn't good enough, the fallen angels decided they would have sex with the human women, they gave birth, and their children became giants. Then, the flood came, and God, had to destroy the earth by the flood because of the evil they had brought to the land. Boy they didn't learn their lesson, the first time, God had to defeat them again, and there will be one more time to defeat them, and God will most certainly win again. Before you try to make a Christian, look stupid, read the Bible and understand it through the Holy Spirit, next time. Of course, you will have to be saved in order for the Holy Spirit, to help you understand...;)

His paranoid delusions were built as a product of confirmation bias, that is protecting very weak rationalizations, that uphold his entire worldview.

If he knew how to compartmentalize, he could avoid putting his mental structure in such risk.

The delicate balance that keeps his cognitive dissonance in check would be tipped if he backed out now.

I could tell him how to safely "disarm" his delusions while maintaining the rationalizations that uphold his worldview.

But I won't do that. It would require dishonesty on my part. Any highly intuitive and manipulative pastor could walk him through this, and do it honestly.

I suggest he find such a pastor.

Perhaps.

I'm attracted to females. There is no requirement ,on my part, that they must be lesbian females (when I need sex). The actual act of sex is a very, very small part of your overall sexuality. The terms homosexual, heterosexual, bisexual are nothing more than labels.

I don't have sex with men so I'm labeled a homosexual. I enjoy the company of men just as I do girls.

When we look at people as individuals, the labels will peel off and fall.

I don't know about all of the parades, but in the area I live in we have Homecoming parades, Fall Festival parades, Halloween parades. WE have never had a Christmas parade, I suppose if I lived near a big city. But The Macy's Thanksgiving parade does not include anything about God, and the President has called Christmas trees, holiday trees...holiday parties, holiday presents, Happy Holidays! There are not many things that are left with the name of Jesus in it. The name of Jesus angers more people than I have ever seen. I do know that Disney World promotes a homosexual day just for them for being special. They do not promote straight people day.....Now Dolly Wood was going to start it the last time I went two years ago. I honestly find it appauling that any place that promotes someones sexual appetites a special day, no longer gets my business. I honestly don't care if a homosexual feels like they are born that way or not. I was born straight, and I am a Christian by my own beliefs. If anyone has a problem with it, tobad, get over it, I am here. Right? That would be just as bad as someone says lets give an all black day, or white, or hispanic. What would be okay is Special Olympics day or something in that order. Oh yes when you see the Easter parades and they have the Easter bunny in it...It is not about God, it is about the Easter bunny and the sale of candy. I have never seen a Pride parade, would you care to explain? Just my opinion.
Just google Christian Parades and you will find that there are several.

I don't know why there aren't more. Anyone can apply for a permit to have a parade. I doubt if it would be denied as long as it is for peaceful intent.

Why do you think that churches don't apply to have parades?

I lived in this one city for a while and the Hindus had built a new temple. They held a parade for the entire city. Many people went to watch. Several of the main streets were closed down for a couple of hours.

IMO If Christians wanted parades they could have them. I actually think it would a good idea for churches in small towns to join together with other churches in their area and put one together. Kids love parades and most high school bands look for things to participate in.

Why don't you in your area put one together?

I lived in a town of 16,000 when my kids were small...they had a Christmas parade for the city. It was huge. There were all kinds of floats including those from all of the area churches. There were bands, scouts, ball teams, bands, clowns...it was great fun.

I don't mind associating myself with Secular Humanism as long as I coincidentally agree with what I've seen of it. My limited reading about it (mostly just on Topix) didn't change my worldview. Yeah, I pretty much agree.

There are many things I might agree with in a philosophy, a hobby or past time, politically or by situation

Most of the time I don't broadcast those too much. I've mentioned on the forums here what I do for a living and a few things from my past - outdoors man, chainsaws, Military and such, but my personal views or those "codified" aspects of myself I'm selective about and reluctant to divulge in a *check list format*.

I am an atheist, and beyond that, people will have to gather what other things there are that I embrace or find validity in from my conversations or by my thoughts expressed here, out in public etc...

We all pay the piper at some point brother. I take no comfort in that as no matter what people say or for the most part do I certainly dont wish upon anybody to be a lost soul. It is one thing to reject Christianity. Its even more to imo to even reject the concept of God and make science into a god. Sure science has its place. But all of this (earth, universe, people) wasnt some incredibly fortuitous and mathmatically impossible imo coincidence that formed a perfect working self-sustaining self-replicating universe.
