I am not asking you to do anything except give the page number
You apparently had no problem scanning the page and emailing it to me so whatever you invented objections are now make no sense.
If you had the page number to give you would have provided it
Instead you have made 5 posts all with different reasons and deflections why you can't simply provide the page number of a quote you gave that you were willing to scan and email
That makes no sense if you are telling the truth
This has nothing to do with me hurting people or being paranoid or whatever other excuse you want to make. If you had no problem scanning and emailing it then there is no reason you shouldn't be able to just give the page number
Do you really think these tactics aren't transparent?
I have seen the lengths you will go to not to admit you are wrong. Including even saying you would rather have a doctor that doesn't care about you and equating a doctor that cares about his patients to meaning his must be physically touchy-feely
It is so much easier to just be honest. You may figure that out at some point
.. you took me seriously about scanning the page ??..

.. no explanation is good enough for you. I have explained to you what church means to me. It wasn't good enough. AIN explained what church meant to him. His explanation wasn't good enough ..

.. because I refuse to adhere to your Topix game rules, you have concluded I am a lying hypocrite. So be it ..

Christianity teaches that human flesh is failure.
Either do I. I believe we are all part of a neverending continuum of the essence of energy...no depreciated to the attributes of man deity that punishes or rewards upon selfish demands or humanisticaly attributed anger. We ARE the ALL/IAM, and the ALL/IAM is us-and everything you can imagine and see is included in the equation of ALL. Anything less is archaic supposition which depreciates the actuality of the ALL.

Thank you for the kind words Sora.
I do enjoy reading your's and Seraphine's posts..You bring much kindness and wisdom..
Not sure if you say anything of good value to the "nay sayers"
they will listen anyways..
Think we have reached a place where many believers want to control God and other's destiny concerning God.
They put Him in a box tie it up securely and write on the cover-
"mine, all mine"..
They worry about their own Salvation and storing up treasures for
themselves in Heaven.
I do not believe this is what Christ intended for His people..
I hope you and Seraphine do not get too discouraged here..It
is nice to be agreed with at times..
:)
Up hill battle for sure- but well worth it..
Thank you again..
Bonsoir Madame Le_Le we are often told that many enjoy reading our posts doe the feelings that are created and for the wisdom presented. We are Christian (Catholic of course) and we are Classically trained Humanists as well we are Christian Humanists. Even the naysayers appreciate our ability to disagree without being disagreeable and we are not the type to prothelytize we do not believe in it we believe our actions shall speak for themselves. God is bigger than our petty and selfish desires my dear, if you want people to accept your religion then you must practice what you preach it is that simple. Yes, many do place God in a box I have noticed it among Conservative Christians in general in my humble opinion. Seraphine and I believe that salvation is Universal. We are not discouraged, nor are we dissapointed we also like speaking to you as well. Christ did not intend this but here we are and the question is shall we allow this to continue, shall we allow the name of Christ to be tarnished? He was the ultimate Humanist Madame Le_Le. We must be too all of us here.

Sorry, the topic put the idea into my head and it seemed like fun at first. Now not so much! LOL
I was curious to what he was saying

History Channel?.... I thought more like Animal Planet :)

Hello Steve,

I could have a lot of fun with this , but don't want it to be misconstrued(by any)...

Really ,as to 'what I was saying', just as I wrote to Lee above, and really directly to HFY ,commending one who recognises the importance of audience relevance in reading (and by extension interpreting) a text.

And BTW, this isn't my 'natural habitat'- but I'll 'swoop in' every now and then;)

You have a great weekend...

The size of the quote is determined at the time of copying and pasting it out of the larger source.
Any quote out of a book, that isn't the whole book, would be partial, in regards to the book.
<quoted text>
Unless surrounding context changes the meaning of the selected quote, there's nothing wrong in only sharing a part of some whole. That might be one sentence out of a paragraph, or one paragraph out of a page, or one page out of a book.
<quoted text>
LOL
One must also realize that a small quote from a larger work can refer to a theme within a larger work. That requires that the other party be familiar with the larger work.

For example if you were talking about an insane quest that will eventually destroy you, I might simply write, "Call me Ishmael."
I have assumed you know the larger work being referenced, if not you will just think I am babbling. LOL

Good to meet you.
I gave an answer to Sora about why I think Christian Humanism isn't as well known or as widely adopted as it should be.
I think the main reason is related to politics. Christian Conservatism is hugely influential in America and I don't think it's compatible with Christian Humanism. Fundamentalism is still pretty popular in a lot of places. Evangelistic mega churches are becoming more popular. These versions are highly aggressive and divisive.
Yeah, but Jesus loves you.

Hello Le Le!
I have to agree re Sora and Seraphine's posts...
Agree too there is too much 'mine mine' between too many, but without dwelling on too many negatives as feed-back... and still adding a little of God's Love in the word 'mine' also... makes me think of a jewel of a text.
Malachi 3:17
And they shall be mine, saith the Lord of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him.
Be Blessed and happy. PW
Bonsoir Mon ami, thank you it seems many do but the words we speak are not new but they must be given to a new generation of people to foster love, peace, compassion, tolerance and respect for human beings everywhere gays and lesbians included. The love of God exists in the heart, mind and soul of every person we have been given what Sora refers to as a "Divine spark". Some recognize it and use it more than others like hopefully we do.

Christianity: the gift that keeps on giving mankind great ideas:

Sorry that you people are so enamored of this beautiful religion of yours. You seem to be under the influence of a spell or some kind of indoctrination or infection.

But the rest of us aren't, and many of us simply find the church that fills our neighbors' heads with such ideas a repulsive societal parasite.

Christianity teaches that human flesh is failure.
But IANS if there is no sin then there is no wrong. That means we can do as we please so no matter who does what it is ok. How can you say Christianity teaches bad thing when there is no sin/wrong?
Or do you just mean Christians should quit believing in God and listening to Him and start believing in and listening to you. I hate to be the one to have to brake the bad news to you IANS but you might as well give up on that because it ain’t gonna happen.

Sorry people I can hardly believe it’s possible but I think this guy just might believe all this hogwash that he has been posting.

Maybe some day …

You have a great weekend...
Just when someone normally understands correctly the audience relevance they generally understand the point correctly

Not always though of course but I figured if you were commending her on doing the former correctly that it might be suggesting the latter as well. I understand now you are saying you were just addressing the first

About to watch some shows i downloaded
