How can we know who is the "fallen" in 400,000 years of treachery and deceit?
I don't know how far your belief or unbelief stretches, but many things have been documented throughout the ages, even the experiences of many in dealing with spirits such as higher level and lower level demons, djinns and familiars. Much of what we also believe are lost aren't actually lost at all but kept and preserved in private collections, private museums, hidden locations with many authentic documents, scrolls and artifacts and in Vatican City.

There has been so much conspiracy theories floating up and about that naturally people will shy away from believing this stuff...a well played strategy. Not all demons are fallen malakiym (Angels). Even many of our women and to a lesser extent men are seduced my many creatures that appear to be human but are not, who lay with them and have many offspring. When people see this world descending into chaotic crime and violence and some of the heartless things being done, they keep wondering how and why.

The way women dress these way, many already being quite beautiful end up being the ones that seduce these creatures. It happened in biblical times. The bible doesn't spell things out for people and just like many books and movies, people especially these days easily dismiss them as myth, fantasy and urban legends. Many a hollywood director and writers study very hard and they know a lot, and many are demonically influenecd to learn certain craft and to gain certain knowledge. Others. come by their knowledge through careful research and many sources that may have in archeological and religious studies departments in several colleges and universities. It is strange Mr. BT42, why people, especially living in this time, want to set themselves up to be surprised, even with deathly consequences.

The world my friend, is not what it appears to be, but many on this thread who believe they are learned, love taking things at face value. They go to teh circus and watch the tricks in the booths, yet they don't know, who are magicians different from illusionists. As with this world, the hand is quicker than the eye. You'd be surprised how many people lack vision and spiritual focus. Like little lemmings, many of us walk right into the fiery soup. To them I ask....Quo Vadis.

Shalom Mr. BT42!

Andrew (CS).

You will be waiting a long time as there is nothing left to say. You guys can try to spin and justify and drool over him all you want. Quite frankly it is becoming hard to take a lot of people seriously the way the fawn over not only some dude on the Internet but a guy so obviously dishonest and hateful

I understand he is looked at by some as the leader of your "humanist" group

To me he is a simply a guy that says things like this

"Nor am I bigoted against Christians. I detest their infection."

Which to me and I know quite a few others not so enamored with him is the comments of a bigot and a liar is total denial or lying because of his ego

<quoted text>
No it's not. I have already defined what I mean. Next time, ask me what I mean.
"The church" is like a university - it is an abstraction. Every physical element of Harvard university may disappear and be replaced. In a thousand years, if it still exists, every student at Harvard will have been replaced by others countless times, every professor replaced, every book replaced, and possibly every building replaced. The location may have changed, or there may be no location - just a website. But it will still be Harvard university, which transcends the physical.
Likewise with your church. Every priest and pastor has been switched out countless times, as is true of every congregant, every building and every bible and hymnal. What persists is an evolving institution - a set of tradition, a way of knowing, an ethical system, a metaphysical system, a psychology, a methodology, a doctrine and the like. It has an existence independent of any person or physical object.
That is the church. I have posted this definition many times.
<quoted text>
Nope. See above.
I have already told you how I feel about all of you. I don't hate you. I see you as victims of the church even more so than those of us who have avoided or escaped it.
The church has stamped its values into you. It is the reason for the different set of responses we have seen from all of you compared to the humanists here.
<quoted text>
Can you show me where I have done that?
I'm not gonna play these were games with you. "The church" IS people.

There's no way you can talk your way out of it, if there is no people "the church" is just an empty building and poses you know "threat".

It's the people you're pissed off at, or sad for, or whatever you want to call it. But it is not an empty building that you call "the church" that bothers you, it's the people inside that building and the laws and rules they represent and they force down your throat.

I really don't understand how many bad churches you had to go to before you came to your conclusion that Christian people are bad people, but I do feel sorry for you.

For anyone..........

I went to this verse because I found it odd that 'fire' was included with this verse..........I suppose if I was really ambitous and had the time I could have a better understanding of what it means by going back to the 5 verses it has referenced in the footnote and cross reference section.

But seriously, if our eternal lives depend on this book and the christian God wants us in heaven, shouldnt it be a whole lot easier then that?

I know if I had friends I wanted to invite for dinner, I wouldn't make them cross the forest of darkness to get them there..........Jus sayin.........

Its amazing to me someone like IANS who constantly stereotypes, slanders, broad-brushes, etc cant at least grasp the simple concept that he has no clue what 99% of Christians in the world think, do, or believe. But trying to get someone who is bigoted to see they are and especially when their ego is so big and they fancy themselves as part of some new movement with better ethics and they have half a dozen people reinforcing things to him no matter how preposterous is a pointless endeavor. He will spend the rest of his days hating and accomplishing absolutely nothing

My guess is he thinks about a time when the "humanist" group will be well-known and perhaps he will even be listed as their founder! I think he should go feed the pigeons so at least at the end of each day he would have accomplished something because Christians aren't going anyway nor are people going to be turned off by Christianity because of people like him

my point was that the entire scenario was an exagerated & biased representation of any possible events and usually the serial perp gets the blame, but of course not in the case when they're 'gay' and when there was a 'christian' organization involved.
stereotypical hollywood brainwashing & hate propoganda at it's best!
So all the other stuff about gender roles and the women wearing the weaker sex for watching Criminal Minds and leaving out key elements of the what actually happened in the show to exaggerate what happened to make your point probably wasn't needed right?

You feel television is liberal and has an agenda against Christians and especially if concerning someone who is gay right? I realize asking is silly but some people deny everything they say for weird reasons. Can you list some other examples that has helped you formed this belief that tv programming is "stereotypical hollywood brainwashing & hate propoganda" against Christians and when defending gays?

I would have to believe someone who has come to feel as you do has because they feel they have seen this happen over and over again. What are just a few examples?

Right. I mean we all see the evil that secular humanism can make someone. he come on here and boasts about all the virtues of secular humanism, and then we all see his hatred and vitriol going after skombolis writer.

So he revealed his philosophy to be nothing but a fraud and a sham. and that is what secular humanism offers best, hypocrisy.

You know, you're right.

My grandpa was the world's biggest bigot, he absolutely hated blacks, gays, Orientals, middle eastern's, etc. Basically anything that wasn't a white man or woman, he hated.

I tried and tried but there was no way to change his mind, absolutely none.

Ian this is the same way, just toward Christians.

That's just it. If the person is going to be rude and write uneducated, boring and bigoted garbage, what's the point in being nice to them? I just want to tell them how stupid and damaging they are.
I think it's a failing in me.
That's how many of us feel about IANS and his comments like the following

"Nor am I bigoted against Christians. I detest their infection."

I personally don't think it is a failing in you but then again I am probably biased since I feel the same way

The guy doesn't even know 99% of the Christians out there. That by anybody's definition makes him a bigot when he says things like this.

What if I said

"Nor am I bigoted against gays. I detest their infection."

I actually think it is a shame some of you guys can't see it or don't wanna see it. Having a bigot on your front lines just makes people more likely to dismiss the entire "movement", especially when they see people trying to defend the indefensible.
