It's now being reported that Oscar Pistorius shot through his bathroom door, where his girlfriend was. So let me ask this; So did he believe an intruder had entered his home through a bathroom window?? Or did he......PLAN.... to shoot shoot his girlfriend.....through the door...so she wouldn't know that it was him,or so that she couldn't SEE that it was him????....Hmmmmmmmm. She sent him a tweet the day before Valentine's Day that would suggest that if there had been any problems between them, she, obviously, didn't know that he was still seething over something if,in fact,he was. The truth will come out,and then everyone will begin to REALIZE why this happened... Hey,Allen Dershowitz and Barry Scheck,ya'll needing some more work??!

When Jesus spoke to anyone... he said his peace and moved on.

I don't recall that he pursued anyone with less passion than any of us in here. But we could have a little more com-passion...

Consider the little prefix - com...
com =
a prefix meaning “with,”“together,”“in association,” and (with intensive force)“completely,”
occurring in loanwords from Latin
( commit )

So lets try and put a little more - or complete!-
passion into subject matters and even when faced with a prostitute... remember 'how' Jesus spoke.

John 8:11
“No one, sir,” she said.“Then neither do I condemn you,” Jesus declared.“Go now and leave your life of sin.”

Can ANY of us touch a life as Jesus did???

Think about it!!!

John 3:12
I have spoken to you of earthly things and you do not believe; how then will you believe if I speak of heavenly things?

Revelation 22:17
The Spirit and the bride say,“Come!” And let the one who hears say,“Come!” Let the one who is thirsty come; and let the one who wishes take the free gift of the water of life.
********

Bring back...
'WHY should Jesus Love me'?
Can we Witness this?

Blessings in HIS Love and Peace be with you all.

You'd block a couple of consenting adults from marrying.......
I never said anything about marriage, and also, I pointed out that I felt that consenting adults made a difference in making decisions for themselves, and that regardless of that, I also felt that the incest laws had a solid ground for the laws being as they are.

To clarify: The laws, I feel, are in place to protect those people who might be forced into a situation they would not choose for themselves, minus the coercion or manipulation. That applies to both minor and adult, too.

Honestly, do you ever not only take the time to read a response, but to reflect upon what a response means?
RiversideRedneck wrote:
Marriage isn't about minors.
Again, I mentioned nothing about marriage, and incest does not require marriage for incest to occur.

I notice you see or read commentary and then place nonexistent claims into something other people say that was never there in the first place.
RiversideRedneck wrote:

Then stop it.

Nevertheless, I'll go ahead and address your questions made in misreading what I wrote, and the erroneous conclusions you made concerning what I did say.

On with your marriage questions.
RiversideRedneck wrote:
Marriage needs consent of both people. Period.
I agree, although as I stated previously and pointed out; I think consenting adults should be able to engage in many activities, but the issue of incest brings up considerations that may place - even a full grown adult, and certainly a minor - in a position of coercion, that would be absent were the people not related along familial lines.
RiversideRedneck wrote:

Wonder why RI only allows Jews to marry within the family....
Probably due to some antiquated cultural provision in which it is seen as acceptable, and in that particular instance, it appears to be due to a religious cultural consideration(a belief)- just read the bible.

Thats a weak weak answer.

Did the little child who has known nothing but physical and sexual abuse and sees no way out and takes their life have a choice?

Does the muslim in Iran have as much a choice at christianity as the American child born into a methodist family?

I don't believe that was John the Baptist. He was an angel. As I tried to figure that out, it was a mystery, maybe symbolic. I did think about the thief on the cross, he was not baptised, but yet he got to go be with Jesus. What I saw was for me, I have been baptised, but I had the feeling that it was for all who were going to stay. Maybe as a symbol for how we as Christians acts that are not so Godly, we ask for forgiveness but struggle with the flesh daily...We will all have to cross over one day, I suppose then, we all shall know, the mysteries of God. Our minds could not comprehend it all, as the Bible state....
I don't know if I should even git into this.
John was real(IMO), and a Nazari and/or Essene. All Essenes are "brothers" still. They were two leaders at the time, and JB was the introduction of his brother to the world "outside" of the sects.
Both were killed for their effort to change a society that was heading for self destruction due to war and merciless greed by two factions seeking totalitarianism.
It's a strange, strange world we live in Cap'n Jack.

It is more intriguing than any conspiracy and/or murder mystery ever written before or since. I am sorry if this makes many uncomfortable, but it is truth and actuality.
What did Chicken little always say? The sky is falling! The astro passed us by! But it left a chunk with Russia. Funny NASA didn't even know it was heading for Russia. That's crazy, I thought they were on top of their game? They are claiming not enough funding, but it was some amateur people who saw the big one coming.

Are you ready to go on a Carnival Cruise? LOL I can't believe they left those poor people in those conditions for four days. I think I would have jumped off and went swimming,,,, to the nearby boats that where taking pictures! LOL They had the nerve to offer them 500 bucks for their sufferings and of course a full refund. LOL How many times do you think people are going to get smart and take another Cruise Line? How many times in the past 12 months has this cruise line had problems?

-sorry.

Hello Le Le,
I wasn't aware you noted my interests/concerns for the human race, but thank you. They have been since a 3 y.o. and as 'problems' grow, so does one's responsibility!

It's a bit like accepting to do a small thing - ie. answer a call - and when that is hopefully dealt with, a bigger CALL is waiting.

Of course we have the choice to answer the call, and being the child that I was - very trusting - I made a promise. A promise to follow Jesus... which I learned as I grew up, was called a Covenant! Now it became more than just 'following' but a 100% dedicated involvement...

And so the peaceful child became the peace warrior. From my home, the term warrior was not so widely used as it is now for just about anything under the sun, but none the less... commitment must
be infectious, as I have seen many more now who are truly the same.

Like team work, the work goes on. And like even a seeming fine blade of grass - without the Light and the Force - it would have no power to push through the earth. And yet... it is growing... even if eyes cannot see!

I might have spoken briefly in another thread a long time back, but IF I do, it is 99% here. And over the past year has had to be brief now due to my schedule. Folk grow like flowers in a garden here as friends... and even weeds are very edible, as well as great for pest control... >>>BigSmile<< < Love... does not question, Ja?

What WOULD a Christian do without all folk to converse with???
mmmmmmm
Another thought...
Blessings always in His Love and Peace

I do not shun or badger them, and yes they are a victims as the kids or man who ate to much and people mock them for being to fat. But some gay people force things on people and are very mean about it too. You do not know why some people are gay....I have seen many who were molested became gay because they were taught to be. Just as you see in some places some couples are allowing their children to go to school as a girl or a boy. When it boils down, the adult is the one who is wanting the attention, not the child. So, that child becomes the opposite of what they are by being taught. The Bible does speak against it. I have tried to go back and research, but if one is filled with the Holy spirit, God will give them the discernment of what is right or wrong. I disagree with you on the victims. A gay couple who raises a child, brings that child up in the way of a mother and a mother, Or father and a father. A child needs both, even in the instance of divorce, the child needs both in their lives. Just as a straight couple who live in violence brings up the child in that atmostphere, and they become what they learned. Our prisons are filled with them. We learn what we see and live with as a child.... One thing that does puzzle me with gay couples, and it is in most that I see.I have asked my friends about it, but they just make a joke about it... If man and woman would seem wrong to them, why does one try to look like a man, be manly? Or with the men, there is one who is feminine who tries to act like the woman? Could you explain that to me? I normally do not see to guys on bikes in leather jackets with beards and long hair, being a couple. LOL I do see a woman who's hair is shorter than a man's riding a bike in the gear of a man, with a woman who is less timid than the other, dressing sexy. Would you care to comment on that?

I dont know why that is.

I think what children need is stability in a loving home. I know of single mothers that raise their children and they come out fine w/o a father in the picture. It comes down to love and being there for them. JMO........

There are churches who think the other church is going to hell, so, I really can't comment on them....only mine. All are welcome, all get the full Bible taught to them, they preach sin is sin and it is not going in, no more, no less. There is no in between. If one gets mad, they just have to scratch their mad spot...LOL It is not hate, it is the Bible the closest thing that we have that is the closest to what God had given man to go by, if that is not enough, go by the ten commandments of Moses. Jesus loves everyone, and it is not his will that we go to hell, there are however rules to live by. They are not my rules, but the rules of God, that he gave Moses, that was written by the finger of God. That has always been the foundation of this country. I know some disagree with me, but that okay too, been down that road, too many times. We all can agree to disagree.:)
One thing I dont get, is you say the bible has been corrupted yet you seem to rely on its words heavily. What part of its message do you think was corrupted?

NAMBLA is a group of pedophiles (they are also homosexuals) and pedophile activists , who are seeking to abolish the 'age of consent laws and encourage legislation to allow sex with children.

Most of these members the men prefer young boys, and then these young boys are hooked! and grow up to be homosexuals, building up the homosexual population.

The ones that have gotten out of this and turned their life to Jesus Christ, have also confided that they were molested at a young age.

Same with lesbians, once they are hooked with same sex, it is hard to think of anything else, and become a lesbian, thinking they will be happier.

Homosexuals, pedophiles, lesians all want to
be considered NORMAL, and NATURAL, this is what they want ,'To be accepted as OK' It is their RIGHT for freedom, freedom to do as they want and to be lef alone.

I don't have to debate over who was who. I just know when I died. I saw a man in a brown robe in sandals. I know he was a "holy man" I felt not worthy to look upon his face. Whom ever he was is not important really to me, I know it was real. If I knew you better and we were not on a public forum I would tell you much more.

I know that you have a lot more education than I. But, on the other hand, I have had much more experience than you in the religious realms....so to speak. I use to say that I was cursed to have seen some of the things I saw. But, as I have grown older, I realize it was all a blessing. My experience with death, only confirmed the things I have seen in this life......That is why I hold on strongly to what I believe....

Look at the last line first:
TO WOMEN EVERYWHERE FROM MEN
[1] Learn to work the toilet seat. We need it up, you need it down. If you find it up, put it down. You don't hear us bitching about you leaving it down.
[2] Men see in about seven or eight colors, and apricot is not one of them.
[3] If it itches, we’ll scratch it. This is normal, even logical.
[4] If you think you're fat, you just may be. Don't ask us, because we don’t want to answer.
[5] Birthdays, Valentine’s Day, Anniversaries: these are not tests to see if we can find you the perfect present.
[6] If you ask a question you don't want an answer to, expect an answer you don't want to hear. If you are wondering what we REALLY meant by our answer, write it down and read it back. That’s what we meant.
[7] Don't ask us what we're thinking about unless you are prepared to discuss such topics as navel lint, or no-hitters.
[8] Sunday means sports. It's like the full moon or the changing of the tides. Let it be. And no, shopping is not a sport.
[9] If we ask what's wrong and you say "nothing," you should mean it. Yes, you're probably lying, but it's just not worth the ordeal. Don’t be mad because we took you at your word.
[10] Anything you choose to wear is fine. Really. If it weren’t, we’d have told you before you asked.
[11] You have enough clothes. You have too many shoes.
[12] Crying is blackmail. Save it for injuries and really bad news, not minor situations
[13] Don’t use subtle hints because they don’t work. Strong hints don't work either. Nor the really obvious ones. Just say it.
[14] No, we don't know what day it is. Mark Anniversaries on the calendar and remind us the day before. Use words.
[15] Anyone who pees standing up misses sometimes. You would, too, if you tried it.
[16] Most guys own three pairs of shoes. Why do you think we can tell which pair out of thirty looks good with your dress?
[17] Yes, and no are perfectly acceptable answers to almost every question. We can do that.
[18] Don’t get upset when we notice other women. Obviously, you must have noticed her too. Looking at an apple is not taking a bite.
[19] Movies about feelings are what your girlfriends are for. We want to see something blow up or get raped.
[20] A headache that lasts for seventeen months is a problem. See a doctor.
[21] Tell us to do something OR do it yourself your way, but never tell us to do something your way.
[22] Check your oil, especially if the little light is on. Signal when turning. Park between the lines, not on them.
[23] It is neither in your best interest nor ours to ask us to take the quiz in your magazine.
[24] And no, it doesn't matter which quiz or magazine.
[25] Anything said 6 months ago is inadmissible in an argument. Comments become null and void after 7 days. We don’t remember what we meant, but it was nothing to be mad at or even to remember for so long.
[26] If something we said can be interpreted two ways, and one of the ways makes you angry, we probably didn’t mean the bad way. When we want to piss you off, you’ll know for sure.
Thank you for reading this; Yes, I know I’ll be sleeping on the couch tonight, but we really don't mind. It's like camping.
