Where's the quote, Dim? You got it wrong, again. This time, I'll paraphrase from memory. Christians aren't required to feel bad about who they hurt, or make amends to them. The only ultimate requirement is to ask the Jesus to wash their sins away.

I have no doubt that my paraphrasing uses different words than what IANS said, but I think he would agree with my statement, and not with yours.
Well done.

And thanks again. I've become weary of explaining it to him.

There is a huge difference between what you and I said, and how Dim paraphrased it. Dim is apparently unable to tell the difference. Perhaps he is simply unable to do better. I wouldn't hold him accountable for his linguistic deficiencies. Perhaps he's dyslexic.

But I do hold him accountable for his calumny.

That is not what happened since I did express what he said accurately and he did deny it. Please tell me how I expressed it wrong?
What a waste of time.
Skombolis wrote:
If i was wrong I would apologize.
Don't bother. Really. I'm pretty sure that we're well past that.

Besides, you're a Christian, which means that you don't have to apologize to me. Just demand forgiveness from the air, and you'll feel fine.
Skombolis wrote:
What would it take for you to admit IANS lied? Do you deny he said he believes there is a possibility creator gods exist? Do you deny he said he would require proof before believing it?
Why aren't you asking me? Or posting a quotation and link?

Yes, I believe that there is the possibility of a creator god, and no, I don't require proof to believe in a god. But I do require supporting evidence. The evidence says your god doesn't exist.

How stupid are you really, Dim? What is so difficult about this?

Yeah it is. He said he believes its possible creator gods exist but would need proof. When I said that back to him to make a different point he denied it.
No, moron. You got it wrong again.

Why are you refusing to post the quote and link? Are we to simply trust your pitiful reading comprehension and useless memory?

Nobody here tries to speak for me more than you do. I guess you have your head up my ass, too.

Although it only captures your intellect and not your character, still, the name Dim fits you well.

Wow you paraphrase way worse than me
No, Dim of Wit. He got it right. You effed it up.
Skombolis wrote:
You got the first part part right then either intentionally lied or simply have a terrible memory coincidentally at a convenient spot
The first part is right
~Christians aren't required to feel bad about who they hurt, or make amends to them.~
Although he said because they can ask the sky for forgiveness
Now since you saw me write that already, how did you turn
"ask the sky for forgiveness" into "The only ultimate requirement is to ask the Jesus to wash their sins away."?
To unbelievers, those are equivalent. Asking Jesus for forgiveness is doing nothing more than talking to the air and forgiving yourself. Self-forgiveness like that is forgiveness on demand without accountability to the injured party. Tide paraphrased me to my satisfaction.

But you claimed I said it.
Skombolis wrote:

I don't remember it that way. You put the words into my mouth.

As I've said many times before, your mind - comprehension, memory and judgement - is useless. Produce the words with the link to them, or don't even bother claiming them.

And didn't I already school you on the difference between "infer" and "imply"? http://www.topix.com/forum/topstories/T0N0LOR...
Skombolis wrote:
Would someone with empathy not care about those they hurt just because God forgave them?
Weasel.

You tried to put words into my mouth, I rejected your claim that I said them, and now you are trying to backpedal from your claim by saying that I implied them.

<quoted text>Good evening Le Le, I'm sorry to tell you that you and I do not claim the "same" God at all, the God I worship is the God of all creation whose Word that I stand on and not trying to make excuses and justifications for those who indulge in something that is so against what he intended to be, that is hypocritical of you to say the least.
The God that I serve also said in his Word that no liar shall tarry in his sight, and you certainly lied when you said that I am blocking and denying equal right to others who have always had the same rights that you and I do but want want the "rights" to do that which is again against the Word of the Lord that you are trying to claim, again you are a hypocrite and you make me sick.
Do they have the right to marry who they love?

You do...as long as the person is of legal age and is consenting.

You are defining civil laws with your Bible. There is not problem with that as long as you apply them to yourself and not others.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Paul wasn't one of the original twelve aposums, was he? If I recall correctly, the originals had names like Alvin, Simon who is called Peter, and Theodore ... right?

I could be mistaken.

Don't worry, Dim. It's not that bad. It could have been a sarcastic name, like "Einstein," or a rude one like "dipsh*t." This is much cuter, like "Dopey" - one of the Seven Dwarfs.

And it'll probably pass with time.

The Son of God Music Ministry
He Will Increase

http://www.youtube.com/watch...

"Who are we
That You would be mindful of us?
WHAT do You see
That's worth looking our way?

We are free
In ways that we never should be
Sweet release from the grip of these chains

Like hinges straining from the weight,
My heart no longer can keep from singing

ALL that is within me cries
FOR YOU alone be glorified
Emmanuel God with us
MY HEART SINGS a brand new song
The debt is paid
These chains are gone
Emmanuel God with us

Lord You know
Our hearts don't deserve Your glory
Still You show
A love we cannot afford

Like hinges straining from the weight,
My heart no longer can keep from singing

All that is within me cries
For You alone be glorified
Emmanuel God with us
My heart sings a brand new song
The debt is paid
These chains are gone
Emmanuel God with us

Such a tiny offering
COMPARED to Calvary
But nevertheless
We lay it at your feet.

ALL THAT IS WITHIN me cries
For You alone be GLORIFIED
Emmanuel God with us
My heart sings a brand new song
My debt is paid
These chains are gone

Sorry, Le_le, but I don't know it.

How smart do you have to be to avoid the pitfalls that he keeps falling into? All he needs do is mind his (virtual) mouth. He's been told.

And be careful when you come to his defense. He just told Tide that he considers defending another poster having your head up his colon (I'm paraphrasing).

And don't forget his cephalo-pygian insertion comment. You wouldn't want to muss up your hair.

Actually, all of that whining has come from Dim. What I said was that if he didn't want to, a Christian didn't need to apologize to his victim to feel forgiven. Your low wattage friend morphed that into me claiming that Christians lack empathy.
