All I know is that I was kind of surprised and taken aback. Out of nowhere and all of a sudden she came at me like a pissed-off bat requiring some torque... aggressively screeching out of the darkness...<quoted text>
Being one of those WINLACians as you call us LOL I am well aware of Knowledge's time there along with her husbands. She seems to be making an effort now so I am willing to put that behind us and start all over. Not sure though about how the other WINLACians feel.
10-4... I figured since the subject was on porn and the greek word porneia...I state my own position on the subject of today's sexual taboo and wayward trend, imhBo. So it was actually 2 messages in one.<quoted text>
I think that I too misread your intent.
The scriptures say something like judgement first begins at the House of God.<quoted text>
While I was doing searches about how the states dealt with social issues I ran across the pornography stats. There are many churches that are now recognizing the problem and are making attempts to address it.
Yes... that guilt feeling is actually a good thing if it leads a Christian to repentance. It's an alarm saying, "this is wrong!" Now of course, guilt can go overboard if not addressed properly. And one can feel guilty for something he/she shouldn't be guilty of... or concerning porn, a Christian can ignore that guilt alarm and say, "There is now therefore no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus" and continue delving into porn.<quoted text>
There was one site the I read that I thought did a great job in putting it out there but sadly I didn't bookmark it.
It addressed one issue though that I specifically remember...one that I hadn't really thought about.
Not only does the Christian have to deal with the addiction to porn...they also have to deal with feeling that they are committing the sin. It went in to depth on that issue...it was good reading.
The best thing to do is run from it.
