Beautiful sister. I once had someone suggest the world is as positive or negative as I wish to view it or something like basically which was suggesting I only think it has so much wrong with it because that is what I am focusing on. And while I do understand the futility in wallowing in negativity and why it is generally more healthy to focus on the positive we cant do it at the expense of our attention or sensitivity to the bad because like it or not those things are going on. It is easy to become apathetic or at least resigned but we have an obligation. i know me sitting around feeling bad wont change anything but neither will ignoring it. It can be a fine line to walk but a very important one (T) Peace

Good Morning Folks... Happy Birthday Drew. Ians, I was looking through and saw your replies. Going to have to respond to these at a much slower pace so I can do some research on much of these terms and how it relates to my own views on God and Their creation.
Thanks, Q. Have you seen this?

1. By Praying I am glorifying God by asking for his help
2. I do have quiet time in the Morning to meditate on God and his Word.
3. I sweat great drop while praying if it is 90 something degrees and my A/C is not working
4. He answers my prayers all the time (but not every prayer)....It is ALL in his timing
5. God rewards everywhere (In Private and in "The Open"
6. My prayers are from my heart (sincere)...The Morning Prayer I post is from a site called "Prime Time with God". They are usually written by someone in their ministry.
7. It doesn't matter what man thinks of me.....
Thanks for the reply Epi

I'm a bit confused(as always)
If you post prayers from your heart(sincere-prayer)why do you also post someone else's prayer that's not from your heart?

Do insincere prayers work?

XO

Thank you for this link (((((Drew))))))- VERY inspiring! I heard some of the breakfast speeches- including the Presidents- I see prayers being answered.

What did you do on your special day?

light turned yellow, just in front of him. He did the right thing, stopping at the crosswalk, even though he could have beaten the red light by accelerating through the intersection.
The tailgating woman was furious and honked her horn, screaming in frustration, as she missed her chance to get through the intersection, dropping her cell phone and makeup.
As she was still in mid-rant, she heard a tap on her window and looked up into the face of a very serious police officer. The officer ordered her to exit her car with her hands up..
He took her to the police station where she was searched, fingerprinted, photographed, and placed in a holding cell.
After a couple of hours, a policeman approached the cell and opened the door. She was escorted back to the booking desk where the arresting officer was waiting with her personal effects.

He said, "I'm very sorry for this mistake. You see, I pulled up behind your car while you were blowing your horn, flipping off the guy in front of you and cussing a blue streak at him. I noticed the 'What Would Jesus Do' bumper sticker, the 'Choose Life' license plate holder, the 'Follow Me to Sunday-School' bumper sticker, and the chrome-plated Christian fish emblem on the trunk, so naturally....I assumed you had stolen the car."
Thanks for the laugh.

For some of us it is a good way to start the day, the reading/posting of scripture, positive thoughts and prayer. Uplifting, if you will. If it is not your cup of tea, don’t read it. Epi has been posting like this for over a year now, on a thread intended for Christians. If she were posting this daily on a thread not intended for Christians, I could understand your questioning her in the manner that you chose.
Hello, thanks for the reply.

Shouldn't you be reading scriptures and talking to your GOD before you come onto an entertainment site?

This thread was not paid for by wanna-be christians, therefore it is not intended for wanna-be christians.

I would imagine there are those within the faith who have no use for that sort of stuff at all either. Many simply are trying to live their lives the best they can with the beliefs to guide them. Wherever they succeed or fail is on each individual but their goals normally are decent ones and so are their hearts and minds.
I saw a saying the other day that said "never judge a man by the worst day of his life or the best"
That saying could also easily say never judge an organization by its worst members or its best
(T) Peace
Hello Skombolis

May I?

If an organization braggs on it's value, why shouldn't it be judged by it's failures?
