Aw, ya did it again, doing someone's 'homework' for their hot cafeteria lunch. I'm gonna suggest they just give you a sandwich on the way home at the bell<big smile><quoted
When we examine Paul's letter to the Galatians, we'll notice that he was referring to specific laws, namely sacrifice and circumcision. Paul was opposing certain Judaizers that were attempting to compel the converts to sacrifice and become circumcised, two laws that were fulfilled in and by our anointed Savior. When Paul mentioned any righteousness by the law, this was a reference to sacrifice, as it was by sacrifice, if not by obedinece to the law itself, that allowed Israel a righteous standing with Father. Paul had to explain to the Galatians that even while Israel was allowed to sacrifice, that this still didn't make Israel righteous, actually. Sacrifice, of course, was an outward display that was intended to declare an inward expression. But, considering that sacrifice was given to give grace to sinners, then every sacrifice offered was a declaration of guilt.
Thank you for your time and consideration, my friend.
Until next time...
