Of course I am familiar with the Maestro, el señor Segovia. Are there any classical guitarists who were not his "students"? I was unaware that he was a friend of Picasso, but I am not surprised.
This morning I listened to Mendelsohn's first piano concerto. Wonderful, don't you think? The melody has stayed with me all day....
Bonsoir mon ami, indeed I suspect that Classical guitarists were either his students or knew of him, I excel at the works of Mendelsohnn it is indeed beautiful. Picasso and Segovia were friends for many years, they are both pioneers in their fields.

This is quite poor.
I'm not surprized that I wasted a brilliant post on teh likes of you.
You have no tact, no skills and no reasoning ability. you tell someone about their poor use of hebrew in English but yet your Enlish suffers brutally when typed by you.
You are a bad influence and you're not half as smart as you convince yourself to be on a minute by minute basis. For someone who always like to correct people, I'm really disappointed with your grade 5 comprehension skills.
The great news for you is, that once there's life there's hope, therefore you're not utterly hopeless. I would never tell anyone that.
Cheers my little muppet friend. Keep butchering your own Christian testimony. Quite sad.
Real poor effort by you. What a waste of an excellent post.
The Zionist Regime.
Maybe his ENGLISH isn't very good because he wasn't born and raised speaking english. Is that the way we should treat other people? I thought we were to welcome forigners and treat them with kindness. SO, he doesnt believe the same way as you do. So what. He isnt innocent either and doesnt have very good people skills but I want to know WHERE is THIS EXCELLENT post at? I want to read one. Where is it? You may not have told him that he is utterly hopeless in words but your actions beg to differ. Are you through stroking your ego at this persons expense?

I tell the truth the man who does not enter the sheep pen by the gate but climbs in by some other way is a thief and a robber. The man who enters by the gate is the shepherd of his sheep. The watchman opens the gate for him and the sheep listen to his voice. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. When he brought out all his own he goes on ahead of them, and his sheep follow him because they know his voice. But they will never follow a stranger in fact they will run away from him because they do not reconize a stranger's voice.Jesus used this figure of speech but they did not understand what he was telling them.

At the National Gallery in Washington, D.C., I recently saw an exhibition of Picasso's work as a child and a youth. What a prodigy! The earliest painting there was one he did at age eight.

Therefore Jesus said again,I tell you the truth I am the gate for the sheep. All who ever came before me were thieves and robbers but the sheep did not listen to them.I am the gate;whoever enters through me will be saved. He will come in and go out and find pasture. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.

Bonsoir mon ami, yes we was a prodigy. He left spain due to its conversatism in regards to painting. He and Segovia were very different people politically as well. Segovia was also a Spanish nationalist, interestingly though only one of his 11 children married a Spanish person.

I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. The hired hand is not the shepherd who owns the sheep. So when he sees the wolf coming he abandons the sheep and runs away. The the wolf attacks the flock and scatters it.The man runs away because he is a hired hand and care nothing for the sheep.

I am the good shepherd I know my sheep and my sheep know me.
Just as the Father knows me and I know the Father and I lay down my life for the sheep I have other sheep that are not of this sheep pen I must bring them also. They too will listen to my voice and there shall be one flock and one shepherd.

The reason my Father loves me is that I lay down my life only to take it up again. No one takes if from me but I day it down of my own accord I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again. This command I received from my Father.

Therefore let us not pass judgment on one another any longer, but rather decide never to put a stumbling block or hindrance in the way of a brother. I know and am persuaded in the Lord Jesus that nothing is unclean in itself, but it is unclean for anyone who thinks it unclean. For if your brother is grieved by what you eat, you are no longer walking in love. By what you eat, do not destroy the one for whom Christ died. So do not let what you regard as good be spoken of as evil. For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking but of righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit....

The Good Lord didn't say we had to LIKE some folks (lol),

but yep, your right , we are to LOVE them enough to hope and pray for their souls.

The Good Lord don't want to loose not one soul.

Bonsoir Monsieur Sora, and thank you for the kind words.

No, I don't equate the two. In my view, Xenophobia arises from an ignorant fear of those who are different from ourselves, much like racism. And it is most common among people from a powerful nation, who look down on foreigners. It is a very poor mindset. Nationalism on the other hand can develop from pride in one's people, or a wish to remain independent and free from the grips of a more powerful nation. The nationalism of the people of Catalunya (Spain), is a good example. It includes a wish for more autonomy, to retain the language, and to be free from the power of Castilian Spain.

I hope I have made myself clear. I appreciate that you value my thoughts.

Marriage at the Resurrection.

Then the Sadduces who say there is no resurrection came to him with a question.Teacher they said Moses wrote for us that if a man brother dies and leaves a wife but no children the man must marry the widow and have children for his brother. Now there was seven brothers. The first one married and died without any children. The second one died leaving no child. It was the same with the third. In fact none of the Seven left any children.Last of all the woman died too At the resurrection whose wife will she be since the seven were married to her.

Jesus replied are you not in error because you do not know the scriptures or the power of God.When the dead rise they will neither marry nor be givin in marriage, they will be like the angels in heaven. Now about the dead rising have you not read in the book of Moses in the account of the bush how God said to him I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. He is not the God of the dead but of the living. You are badly mistaken.

Bonsoir mon Monsieur, in regards to my words to you I always mean what I say and as for your observation I see your point. The fear is not only ignorant but at its core irrational: I myself have been the target of prejudice but not due to the way I like but rather the culture if this makes sense amongst fellow Martinicans I am regarded as very Europeanized yet this is a pidgeonhole at best, a poor grasp of things they do not understand. I am an internationalist, I take the best of every culture I have come into contact with and created my own. We are currently debating the life and death of Peter Tachaikovsky, there is nothing worse than living in a society where people cannot be free to be who they are especially in his case.

Yes, well, ignorance is what breeds all of these misconceptions, piegeonholes, and ignorant generalizations about people. And this causes hurt, and prevents us from getting to know and understand one another.

On your other observation. I have heard that Tchaikovski was extremely shy and timid.

Bonsoir Monsieur, in regards to Tchaikovsky, yes he was timid and shy but not when it came to his wife (Some believe he married her as a coverup for his homosexuality which was punishable by death in Imperial Russia) Antonina Miliukova (Nee Tchaikovskaya) no doubt was mentally disturbed. What would you do if a woman wrote you a letter claiming that if you did not marry her she would kill herself? Obviously this for him was just the beginning. Later in life he refered to her simply as "The Reptile) I believe he was forced to commit suicide to prevent a scandal from leaking out and disgracing the aristocracy, not to mention the famed beauracratic School of Jusrisprudence that he graduated from (He was originally meant to be a civil servant just like his father).
