<quoted text> In the midst of all the name calling and insult trading commentary, I really appreciate this post bro, as you are one of the very few people posting here with a level head and stable personality.
Also my post was not meant to demean women in any manner, God has a role in the church for both men and women, and Women definitely have a duty to perform in helping to further the gospel of Christ as the Bible just does not give them that duty to perform behind the pulpit, but yes again they can serve in other capacities, Paul gave regards and salutations the woman who helped him in the gospel. But I definitely agree with you concerning the Woman that we have been dealing with lately, lol.
God's Peace, Blessings and Grace be upon you brother.
Lawest....Grace is not behind the pulpit or preaching to anyone....Neither are you. All posters here give their opinions and their interpretations of scripture....She has as much right to give her opinion as You or Skom or Ra or anyone else....Its called Freedom of speech

<quoted text> Correct Drew, but again..........it is obvious by what she teaches that she has definitely started HERSELF, and yes again it is true that as Christians we may still have some minor different beliefs from one another as no one is totally 100% in sync with one another but the things that she has tried to teach here are SO off based from the Word and out of harmony with the scriptures that thete is just no way to Biblically justify them.
I think maybe she is just misunderstood. So if you would, lighten up a little. And I've learned from past experiences to never refer to a lady, woman, female as "that WOMAN." That is very disrespectful and condescending.

You are writing this above post to -Grace Walker-
a poster you know not- I am assuming..

I have yet to peek into WSJLM and not see you posting - your
Christ intended- words of insults and self rightious BS towards fellow posters.

You spoke of a woman's duties in a church-- tell me-
where does a divorced woman, whom is remarried, stand
in your church? Where does she stand with God- in your
opinion??

You don't even trust your own god..
Fool.

Sorry to post that- but- I believe you to be a fool.

The way I see it, Larry, is that Scott seems to be saying that he's doing what he has been instructed to by God and that is being totally obedient, and from what I can gather, remarks like his and the ones you cited are definitely not being obedient.
My contention is that no one can be completely and totally obedient on all points without fail.
It's classic, you can't lose salvation vs. you can lose salvation. It's been going on for centuries. I've been down that road before and all it leads to is futility. And that, my friend, is frustrating.
Furthermore, there is not a single person who has ever posted on this thread who is completely correct on all points, and there comes a point in time when all parties need to agree to disagree and move on to the next topic.
Happy New Year to you.
Hi Drew-
Happy new Year my friend..

In my heart of hearts- I believe- all souls will be redeemed.

Hi Le_le.

I doubt you'll get a straight answer from him. Keep in mind (if you recall) he racked Judy over the coals about that very subject in his holier than thou self righteous way judging her as living in sin.

Like so many other posters you've got him pegged to a "T" Le_le.

Have a great night. God bless.

"Where does a divorced woman stand in my opinion??"..........if you believe me to be a fool then why ask me any questions?........wouldn't that make you a even bigger fool???.......it's not importan. What my "opinion" on the matter is so much as what the Word have to say about the matter, you profess yourself to be a christian so look it up in the Word if you are honest and sincere about knowing the answer, after serious prayer of course for God to Bless your understanding of what you are reading.

Peace.

Well the bible does permit the older and more experienced women IN the Lord to teach the younger women.

Peace.

She may not be behind the pulpit but she is still trying to convey God's Word ( and erroneously so ) which is still wrong regardless, and she is still demeaning those as faithless in Christ for not agreeing with her, which is very untrue and technically she is lying for accusing me and others for not having any faith in the Lord's sacrifice, freedom of speech has nothing to do with it.

Any church that teaches the treatment of women in the way Lawest has shown in here time and time again is nothing but a church that is being guided by satan. And like you I will not sit back, nor support, nor condone that. It needs to be exposed like it is being exposed in here tonight.

To me (and I'm sure I'm not alone) what Lawest is doing is far worse than any non-believer that comes in here bashing Christianity. Because Lawest is doing what he is doing (which is nothing but satan's work) while claiming it's God's work.

It's about the most sickening thing I've seen done in here. Thankfully it's being exposed for all to see and he's being called out for it like he should be.

God bless you for taking the stand that you have Le_le!!!

Yes we did--
I already know his answer..

Lawlest has already damned someone's soul - right here on this thread-
for leaving an abusive marriage and then getting married to another.

Not sure how many others see his stupidity for jesus..
Just like so many others-- so hard to tell..

Happy to see you tonight..

Yeah everyone is blowing it out of proportion but you right Lawest?

Open your eyes. Do you really think that everyone is wrong and your are right?

Wake up Lawest, all you're doing is digging the hole you made for yourself deeper and deeper. Everyone in here is trying to get you to see just how wrong you are.

Is your ego so over blown and fragile that you can't see that you are WRONG!!!

GET OVER YOURSELF. YOU'RE IN THE WRONG. MAN UP, APPOLIGIZE, AND ADMIT IT!!!

I don't hold Erhaman as a perfect by any means. IMHO he missed a lot and is far too "Christian" for my tastes.

I was merely ponting out the current mainstream scholarly stance on the matter.

Willopst soon my own short analysis of the Gospel of Thomas and why I believe it is a very historically significant text, while theologically it is immaterial.

Good to see you too Le_le.

I guess he thought enough time had passed and that people would have forgotten what he said and did to Judy. So he figured it was safe for him to go on another one of his self righteous judgemental attacks on another women. He's like the proverbial leopard. His spots will never change.

Can you imagine what it would be like to be a fly on the wall at his church and witness the way women are treated and thought of there.

The thought of it along with what he's said in here tonight (and in the past) really turns my stomach.

Excuse me...I started The Gospel of GRACE?? Thank you so much for that compliment but This teaching started way back from the leaders of the early church. Its called, "Confident in Christ." It is a excellent teaching on subjects on: Saving Faith, Assurance, Eternal Security, and Perseverance, with also Appendices on Lordship Salvation, Baptism and Salvation, Repentance and Salvation, and Approach to Understanding God's Word. Once you begin to understand where you can stand, holy and blameless in the presence of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. You will find that those who condemns you don't have a clue about the true gospel of Jesus Christ and, therefore will be able to dismiss them like rubbish, and their words will not harm you, for you know the truth and it has set you free. But those who stand
condemned are not free, they condemn each other as well for they are no different than the wicked.

Only a small segment of Christendom is any era of church history has believed in the gospel of grace. Of course, this should be no surprise to those familiar with the teachings of Jesus. He said, "Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it" (Matthew 7:13-14). The narrow way goes against the flow. In order to believe the gospel, you must believe something that the vast majority of people not only do not believe, but consider foolishness (1 Cor. 1:18).

Hey Epi and Drew. Are you watching the Sugar Bowl?

Louisville is upsetting Florida, leading 30-10 in the 4th quarter. Florida is ranked 3rd in the country and Louisville is ranked 21st.

One thing I want to know. Maybe you don't know the answer but perhaps someone else will. Like maybe Lawest.

I noticed many women are in the stands watching the game. Who allowed women in to watch that game?
