Also regarding Once Saved Always Saved and the holy scriptures... the truth stands the tests of time and the scriptures are clearly opposed to that particular gospel. It was hard for me to accept also so all I can do is put scripture out there. How you doin'? Me? Basically relaxing, off today... gonna sit back and watch me a good movie shortly...(a non-porno movie Dr R! lol)
Hahahaha, you're right my friend, further discussion of it will likely just feul already hard feelings over the matter, let GOD take control.

I've a long day of work and taking care of other and don't mind admitting to being a little tired, will probably take a few hours nap and wake up and do some things around the house.

Well if you end up in hell,it's your own fault, because you, obviously, were never saved to begin with.

You haven't TRUSTED the Lord. I believe you are nothing but a fake. I'm starting to believe you are nothing but a child of the devil spreading lies and worries.

Fortunately your opinions of me doesn't define who I am as a person or who I am in Christ Jesus, and given the source of the criticism ( you ) only provides further confirmation ( and not that I needed it ) that I am certainly doing something right in Jesus Christ when the devil rails against me like that.

<quoted text>John, John, John.. tsk tsk tsk... you and I know, and God knows...
You know John, I overlooked a lot and many evil things you have done to me in the past (because The Lord wants us to forgive and love and all that), and I even looked on the positive side and figured, "meh, he'll just get it go at that." When I said "God knows" in my previous post, to me that was and is solemn because I'm saying what I said in God's Presence and that means something. I didn't think you would ever go to any extreme and lie like that in the Presence of God. I can see for myself how deep it goes and what a dreadfully deceitful person you really are. You sir, are in what they call the gall of bitterness.
heh... That you would dare tell a bold face lie like that in the Presence of God? That really bothers me.
John, I pity you. God knows.
Pity yourself Quin. Because all you're doing is exposing yourself with your lies. And the more you do the more people are seeing you for what and who you really are. See if you were telling the truth you'd produce the t-mails you claim I sent you. But as we all can see you're producing nothing but lies on top of more lies.

First it was your lies accusing Grace of being Cindy. Than it was your lies saying those that believe you can't lose your salvation once you've attained it have made Dr. R their Golden Boy. And now your lies about t-mails I never sent.

Do you really think people are blind Quin?

And the fact that Shrink (the biggest lying troll in here) is trying to back your lies says it all.

You've gone to a new and sick level of evil even for you Quin. I'm done with you and your evil. You're a very sick person, and I pray that God helps you. Because you clearly need it.

Hi HFN.
This is kind of funny. I'll tell you why. I got the impression earlier from a post to me by Quin that he may have thought like you that I had my surgery yesterday. It got me wondering how it was that he thought that after having read his post. I didn't go back and look at exactly what I posted but I know I did say it was going to be on the 7th. If I didn't say January the 7th I apologize because I thought I'd said it was going to be on January 7th.
I was scratching my head when Quin posted me asking how I was feeling, and now that you asked about the surgery perhaps I didn't say January the 7th. My bad. You must have been thinking "wow, that was a quick recovery because he's back posting after surgery yesterday".
LOL!!!
At any rate all is well right now, and I'm sure all will go well with my surgery in January. I thank you for your concern and support my dear Sister in Christ, it means a lot to me.
I hope you have a good nights rest and a fantastic Sonday. I'm turning in for the night.
God bless you.
I had two teeth pulled yesterday and am still a little out of it so will not be posting now except to answer this before too many more days pass.

You may have said January RA but I was thinking November. And I did wonder about you posting this soon. LOL Iím glad all is well! At least you will be able to have Christmas with your family before you have it. And yes my friend you have my concern, support and prayers.:) Take it easy and rest up if you can during this busy time of the year. Just remember what the reason for the season really is.(I know you do though)

Sleep peacefully.

Blessed be His Name, Jesus has indeed fulfilled these things, which is why we no longer need them :) And that is exactly why we don't have to sweat the small stuff and can ignore
Legalistic pinheads who whine about Christmas trees and insist that all must learn every verse of the Old Testament. Isn't fretting about such things rejection of God's grace and what Jesus did for us?
"Pinheads?" Matthew 5:22 comes to mind, but that's just me, I guess.

Pardon me, Roberta G, but not sweating the small things is much different from giving others occasion to question our faith, because we choose to continue in practices that were fulfilled by our anointed Savior on the cross. In my most humble opinion, sweating a small thing would be calling a photograph and idol, but that's far from the case in what Paul taught.

It troubles me to know that such a belief, as your's, is exactly what encourages and strengthens the doubt, skepticism, opposition, and argument, of the atheist. In almost every debate I've had with atheists, they've vehemently declared that Paul contradicted our anointed Savior. And I've found that not many of those I debated made such declarations based on their own examinations of Paul's writings, but the interpretations of the average "Christian" instead. It's obvious, to me, that neither, the atheists I've debated, nor a good number of average "Christians," understand Paul's writings, and that's an issue that, in my opinion, must be dealt with.

Do I insist that every believer learn every verse of the "old covenant" texts? Of course, not. But, I believe it's vital that we learn as much as possible, as it's the "old covenant" texts that explain, in detail, exactly which laws were to be fulfilled on the cross. To even think that "Thou shalt not commit adultery" has been fulfilled, in my opinion, is utter foolishness.

You asked, "Isn't fretting about such things rejection of God's grace and what Jesus did for us?"

My answer is, no. If I notice a brother beginning to lust after our neighbor's wife (Lord forbid), simply by his conversation, it's my responsibility, as a believer, to correct him and set him aright. This way, not only am I disallowing my brother to take for granted grace, but I'm also not held responsible for allowing him to continue in sinful thoughts, actions, reactions, and speech, if he (Lord forbid) chose to continue on his destructive course. What you quoted, from Paul, is no different.

Paul was discussing those laws that were fulfilled on the cross. Again, if anyone chooses to remain performing any of these things, it's our responsibility to warn them of this error, as this'll prove nothing less than a lack of faith in what our anointed Savior fulfilled. Such concern for each other is far from knit-picking, fretting, or even being legalistic. Such concern for one another is love.

Thank you for your time and consideration, Roberta G.

Until next time...

May the shalowm of our 'Elohiym remain with you and your's.

Well,America, the Christmas season is upon us again. It's that time of the year when.....many adults will LIE to many children and tell them those LIES about how some jolly 'ol fat dude in a red suit will get together with his wife and a bunch of long-eared elves at some dufus toyfactory, way up on the northpole, and they will LIE to the children about this red suit-wearing fat dude will have all of those elves load up some, apparently,Noah's Ark-sized sleigh with a bnch of toys, all harnessed up with a bunch of reindeer with some little shy,red-nosed fella' up front, lighting their way through the dark, wintry night skies like a beacon of light, and how the dude and his reindeer will fly all over the planet, landing from roof to roof, and then taking off like some 777 blasting down an airport runway, and how they had better be sleep when the dude in the red suit lands on their roof and comes down their chimney if they want him to leave them all of the presents that they 'prayed' to him to have sent to them....since he,allegedly, knows who's been naughty and he knows who's been nice. Yep,all of these carnal-minded,Gospel of Christ- rejecting adults are getting ready to prepare a whole new 'load of LIES' for the children about Christmas. And,besides, everybody and they moma' know Santa Claus ain't coming up off in no 'hood!!(Did you know if you move the leeters in SANTA around it spells:S-A-T-A-N?? That ain't no coincedence either. Satan is 'the god of this current world' who hates it when people focus on the REAL meaning of Cristmas) Santa knows if he comes up off in the 'hood,he'll be lucky if he leaves out tha''hood alive and naked!... So,this year,STOP THE LIES,and tell the children what the REAL meaning of Christmas is all about. Tell them how Christmas is all about the Saviour of the world being born in a humble manger, and how He lived a totally sinless life from birth to His death upon the Holy Cross of Calvary. And tell them how the Saviour rose from the Grave after three days and that the REAL meaning of Easter ain't got nothing to do with no little bunny rabbits and eggs.(But,hey,Im all for the children going on Easter egg hunts. Ain't nothing wrong wit that. It's just fun for the babies) Come on,America,STOP THE LIES TO THE CHILDREN this year and be REAL with them and help them to get to know the Lord Jesus Christ! This is Doctor REALITY,and I'm just keepin' it R-E-A-L.

America,do you know WHY we keep seeing tragedies like the one in Conneticut today?? America was conquered by the firearm,America has been sustained by the firearm,America has glorified the firearm, and America has DEPENDED on the firearm....instead of the Lord Jesus Christ. And if you feel that the firearm was totally necessary to keep this world safe, you might be right...to a certain degree. But the REALITY of the matter is that Adam and Eve didn't need firearms in the perfect world they lived in. It's only because of man's sin that the world feels the firearm is absolutely necessary. But that has also created a world full of evil cowards who find power and glory in using them in a way that brings death and descruction to their own souls. Yes,all of the signs are here that the Saviour of the world is about to introduce Himself to this evil, wicked, dying world of lost wicked men.

You said "not sweating the small things is much different from giving others occasion to question our faith..." Bro, the people who are going to question our faith are going to do that no matter what. It's not worth worrying about.

How strong a person's faith is--or even whether or not they HAVE faith in Christ--is between Christ and the person concerned. I want for all people, certainly all my friends and family, to have as strong a faith as possible, but > I < cannot give it to them. Only the Lord can do that. My job--your job--is to point to Christ, but we must let Him take it from there. And at that point, I prefer to mind my own business. I also prefer for other people to stay out of MINE.

I am running a fever and feeling way too sick to address the rest of your post, so just be aware I'm not likely to read it--not tonight anyway. I'm going to bed very shortly after I post this.
