Good evening Skom.<quoted text>
Man, that sounds serious although hopefully manageable with today;'s technology. Obviously it would be nice to see it get a little higher on its own although I am, glad to know it has at least shown some improvement.
Is there anything you can try between now and the 4th that might help the number go a little higher? Or is it one of those things where it simply is where it is? I don't know much about this but am wondering if it might continue to grow stronger with time and eliminate the need for the defibrillator implant? Or is that maybe the best option no matter what just as kind of a safety backup?
Please make sure to keep me in the loop. Hope you get to have a nice, relaxing Thanksgiving with the family and get good news on the 4th. Will be saying prayers.(T) Peace
You're right about "modern technology". Without out it I sure wouldn't be here now. And I thank God for that.
As you know the heart is a muscle and with the proper exercise and care it can get stronger. And they've got me on a medication now that is made to help strengthen the heart and bring my heart fraction numbers up. They didn't have me on it after my heart attack and didn't put me on until about a month ago because it's a medication that's hard the kidneys and they were really worried about my kidneys after my heart attack. But since then all the tests show the my kidneys are fine. So now they feel I'm okay to take that medication. And hopefully that medication will continue to increase my numbers.
As far as what the Doctor tells me on the 4th it's kind of up in the air. Because between now and then I don't have any tests scheduled that will show if my heart numbers have gone up anymore or not. And I don't know if the Doctor will order anymore tests before he tells me what he thinks should be done.
I'll keep you guys updated. Have a great evening.
