Folks need to look and see what's on the other side of the hill. For to many Americans their world starts at the post office and ends at McDonalds, with all their needs being met somewhere in
between. Have a good day CC.
You bet. When I was about 12 my Grandaddy took me to a powerplant that he worked on many years back. I still remember learning all that work that puts our lights on each day. From the trains that bring the coal out of West Vir. to the last substation it hits before one last stepdown transformer into our homes. Today many don't know or care but man when it doesn't work we have so called leaders that know how to get a mob going. Indeed. Take care.

@HU...You are right, the analogy or rich and poor wasnt great. In my head I was thinking powerful not rich although obviously most with power have the money as well. But I dont know anywhere where elected officials come even close to adaqutely being 'representatives'.Do you really think the average Joe struglling to get by would want let alone has any control over whether the police decided to unfairly target truckers probably to cover costs of their own salaries? The people that could have used the help arent the ones who screwed you over. I saw the post also about how u went out as a kid with a lawnmower. I did too with my best friend, we actually formed a business at age 16. that same friend of mine graduated college and had his pilots license and when the charter company went under couldnt get a job at a gas station. I know ppl feel like nobody ever helped them so feel that kind of justifies not helping others. but not everybody is a lazy bum looking for a handout. part 1 of 2

Part 2 of 2. Some people are scammers. It isnt always easy to distinguish. Not exactly sure how much it should matter in the big picture. Im not suggesting helping ppl we know are scamming but rather we know some will get over in the process of trying to help those that truly need help and warrant some compassion. Even ppl that dont necessarily deserve compassion can still use it and arent always scamming. Me and my bgrother both were homeless. Totally our fault. We both got our lives back. While in the process of doing that he was given zero help. I know how much he couldve use some. I got some. I know how much it helped. Guess im just saying it is easy to lump everyone into the catagory of lazy or not deserving for one reason or another, especially if we r looking for a reason to say screw 'em. And maybe Darwism is fine for a society. But as human beings i just think we have lost our empathy. nobody is obligated to care but Lord knows ppl need them to. Just some thoughts anyway. (T) PEACE

America, are you ready for the new world order? Are you ready for globalist takeover? Are you ready to experience the REALITY of living in a socialist-like society? Are you ready to be treated like citizens of a poor, dictatorial nation?.....Are you ready to have your...gun rights...taken away from you?? Many many people in America are not happy with the slow REALITY that's evolving in this nation, and they're ready to resist. And the globalist 'thugs' are counting on that resistance being there should it ever become neccessary for foreign forces to enforce 'global law' in America. Have you ever accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour? TODAY is the wisest day to secure your salvation through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ...for you are not promised...tomorrow. Thx Hu. I appreciate u letting me go on for a bit and hope it did not come off as lecturing as Lord knows I am in no position to lecture anybody. And including the personal stuff wasnt intended to make it hard for someone to say how they feel cause I have personalized it. I guess just cause I have gone thru it I just cant help but to feel strongly about it. And I get it man I really do. I bust my butt each day and I am not giving my money to someone looking to play me for a chump. I just wish there was an easier way to know who is sincere. I wish less people were in need. I wish more people were honest. I am tired of the parasites and I am tired of the exploiters. From the very bottom to the very top it seems there comes pressure that is crushing the middle class. Most people should be middle class imo. The American dream aint what it used to be. Anyway, Peace brother and thx again

The decision to allow a transgender 45-year-old college student who identifies as a woman but has male genitalia to use the women’s locker room has raised a fracas among parents and faith-based organizations, who say children as young as 6 years old use the locker room.

The locker room at Evergreen College in Olympia, Wash., is shared with the Capital High School swim club and a children’s swim academy, along with the students at Evergreen.

When I was out of work in 2009 I did a few odd jobs. One was I drove an airport van. Here you lived on tips and the money was not good. One day I was working and had a bad run, the guy paid his bill but gave no tip and I was in a bad mood. The next thing I know a homeless dude comes to me and ask for some money. Sorry pal. In those days I couldn't pay my own bills and was doing all I could and had no money to spare. In the past during good times I've helped but what hit me was this guy was mad at me! Really?! I agree its too bad you don't know who is real or not but I can tell you this guy looked to be in good shape to me. Why wasn't he working 13 hr days to do something? God bless.

It is part of the plan friend. Even some so called Christian churches are in on it. Right here in Clearwater is a church where they won't spend much time on the gospel of Jesus Christ but will shove progressive teachings as the day is long. God is good and thankful He has the final word.

Things used to be a little easier to distinguish before the economy tanked. I know for my buddy all the jobs minimum wage or slightly better he was considered overqualified and too old and any job paying like even $12-$15 and higher per hour there was just hundreds of ppl going for the same job. He finally got a commission only job and has been struggling since. He played by the rules and still got screwed.I remember when I was out of work my brother gave $30 to go downtown with some friends to get dinner. I dont drink so I knew i had a few extra bucks and gave a panhandler $2 and he looked at it and said "that's it?". I started to go off on him to give it back then as i was barely ahead of being on the corner myself and then he was like "oh its good" But I wanted to punch him. And its ppl like that who ruin for ppl who played by the rules and need a hand. God Bless brother

Well the article said it was a state law not a federal law they going by. I can say for one liberal anyway being progressived isnt synonymous with wanting pre-op trans-sexuals in lockerrooms with children. But politics aside..how in the world does a law say a guy who still has male genitalia should be considered female? By that logic any guy could put a wig on and demand to be allowed in a women's locker-room. They need to change the law. If my nieces were 6 when that happened that guy would be on post-op life-support.

Yep. Its ugly and has been for some time. In fact just before I was let go (2009) and was working in Ca. one Sunday morning I was in San Diego. San Diego has a huge homeless problem. Most of accounts I went to was rooftop work and the access was in the back. Just about every stop had someone living in the back. Sad. This one Sunday I got some food and shared it with 2 people that were there. They started fighting over it! It breaks my heart.

I hear ya. Personally I think in part because the problems seem so overwhelming these days it can almost be discouarging in and of itself. It is like trying to blot up the ocean with a roll of paper towel.. It is why the burnout rate is so high in social work professions. That must have been a sad thing to see. But you gave some hungry people some food to eat..Jesus will remind us of this (Matthew 25:38-46..going from memory). Imagine if everybody just did something as simple as that? What a world it could be.(T) PEACE
