Good afternoon Jute.
Sorry to hear about the health news you got. But I know the faith you have, and I know what a loving merciful God we have, and I know you'll beat this. Take it from me because I know first hand that if we have faith in God all things are possible (Matthew 19-26).
Hope you have a great rest of the day. You are in my prayers believing God will heal you. God bless you my dear Sister in Christ.
It is so GOoD to see you back too John, you take care not to get to stressed o;k -- it takes time to heal within. I'm sure you understand now why Ham had to take it so easy and ease his stress load.

A few verses to consider on this subject my friend
1 Corinthians 4
15 Even if you had ten thousand guardians in Christ, you do not have many fathers, for in Christ Jesus I became your father through the gospel.16 Therefore I urge you to imitate me. 17 For this reason I have sent to you Timothy, my son whom I love, who is faithful in the Lord. He will remind you of my way of life in Christ Jesus, which agrees with what I teach everywhere in every church.
Acts 7:2
To this he replied:“Brothers and fathers, listen to me! The God of glory appeared to our father Abraham while he was still in Mesopotamia, before he lived in Harran.

Thanks for the scriptures Skom, much appreciated, however I believe there is a difference between what is being conveyed in those scriptures as opposed to who we are to refer to as our direct heavenly spiritual father, many refer to Abraham as our father because he was made the father of many nations through his bloodline made possible by God almighty, then others refered to Paul and many others as fathers because they took them under their wings so to speak and taught them the things of God and reared them in the faith thus establishing themselves as fatherly figures to many.

However when we pray unto God..........some of us are directly addressing HIM as our ultimate father whom we worship and serve giving HIM that ultimate and highest of all reverence as tbe creator of ALL, saying in prayer FATHER LORD GOD IN THE MIGHTY NAME OF JESUS CHRIST..........

Constant prayer and total obedience to his Holy Word is how we stay spiritually connent to the father in this earth. And in this regard we are not to refer to any other as fathet but the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Blessings.

Hello Doc,
I think with those words you have helped me to understand even more.
The posts can have a very wide influence.
It's a crazy mixed up world that we live in. Isn't it? Topix is like a mirror of that.
There is a lot of healing that needs taking place in this world. Doctor Jesus is the one with cure.
God bless you. Have a great night.
JJ I"m setting here just heart in hand at the change in your postings -- something I've prayed over you for a long time -- to connect with people, in the love of Jesus. TLC - Judy

If you are saying father as in "FATHER LORD GOD IN THE MIGHTY NAME OF JESUS CHRIST" is reserved for only God then I am in total agreement.

I think men can be spiritual fathers as Paul claimed to be but there is only one God the Father

<quoted text>
That may be what you think, but what you think is not what my faith is based upon.
Throughout the Bible, God speaks of a remnant that He will preserve. And a remnant is a very small percentage.
When dealing with Genesis, Jesus refers to the literal events many times. God has the authority and ability to supernaturally step in to history and perform wonderful works. He created everything out of nothing. He fed the Hebrews and preserved their clothes on their exodus from Egypt. He delivered Jonah to Ninevah by a great fish. He used Elijah to perform miracles that were supernatural. And Jesus referred to these events as actual historical events and not allegorically.
And He went on to say that He would be resurrected to validate His plan of salvation for the world. It is not through anything any mortal human does that secures salvation, it is what God did through the Lord Jesus Christ.
I've uttered this before and I will utter it again. You don't know what I know. And I don't say that in arrogance, I say it because I'm confident that God will fulfill all of His future promises of which I and all genuine believers are eagerly awaiting.
My commission is to spread the Gospel and that is what I'll do until the time the Father in Heaven calls me home.
So believe what you will, but when you sling your nefarious drivel, expect to be rebutted by, "It is written." That is what Jesus did to Satan when He was being tempted in the wilderness.
I'm not going to cut and paste here Drew -- I've read this over three times -- what you bring Brother is solid and true and Praise God for this special ministry brought in His Blessed Name -- Jesus --

Look, let's keep it REAL: When a man says that he gave up control of a company in 1999,but yet his SIGNATURE appears on some Securities Exchange Commission papers in 2002 saying that he's still the CEO......that's man's got some serious explaing to do. And if he can't explain that descrepancy, then it would appear he has some serious character flaws, and trust flaws, that he's avoiding. JUST KEEPIN' IT REAL. Either way,America, your next president is going to lead America into the new world order. And when it happens,he's going to try to make it look like it's either the fault of others....or that's it's in the best interest of American society, and the American debt, for America to be a part of a 'global economy'. America, you're a very BLIND,very STUBBORN nation. But the Lord Jesus Christ is going to get your attention, one way,or the other. And it ain't gonna' be pretty.

Hey there my dear friend -- so GOoD to be on at the same time with you. Now and then during my travels the sun will break thru the clouds and give a beautiful vision of moving radiance from earth to the Heavens and when I get the chance to witness that beautiful sight - my heart overflows as I think of the prayer lines doing the same thing -- a constant motion that never ceases.
