These hard-core ahtheist, aka liberal fascist, homosxuals celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ many times a day.

Whenever they write the date (i.e. 12 Dec 2008), the Birth is celebrated. They are reminded of the Birth routinely every single day, every hour, every minute of their lives. It is inevitable just as the sun rises in the East.

The entire world spins around the Birth of Jesus Christ.

Do the atheist/fascists/homosexuals wish to start the numerical year system over again ?

There are some 6 billion people plus in this world right now. Can you please tell me how many of them are true Christians??
You'd be surprized to find that the truth is that
this world does NOT spin around the Birth of Jesus Christ. Only a modest part of it....There are some other "Gods" in this world too. some exist and some disappeared. The Christian God will once disappear too. and certainly replaced by some other "god" - it's the nature of man to
worry. That's the only contributor to Chritsianity. The competition to get to Heaven is such that your competitors may tell you that if you don't do as they say you'll go to hell - and that is something very "gruesome" you know - I just wonder what will be replacing a non-existing hell - sometime in the distant future.

I care little in the existence of a heaven or hell; self respect does not allow me to guide my acts with an eye toward heavenly salvation or hellish punishment. I pursue the good in life because it is beautiful and attracts; and shun the bad because it is ugly and repulsive. All our acts should originate from the spring of unselfish love, whether there be a continuation after death or not.

So many people criticize christians of being fake and not being perfect. But some seem to have forgetten that we are forgiven for all sins and that we just need to have god in out hearts. We are expected to screw up.

OK – I’m definitely not a fascist or homosexual and I’m not sure I’d call myself particularly hard-core but I am an atheist – at least as far as every religion thus far has described a Creator (as are you for all religions but one). But this fact has nothing to do with knowing solid public policy. And this ain’t it.

Using the calendar system preferred in our countries does not mean someone ‘celebrates’ the birth of Jesus the Nazarene. Any more than you, personally,‘celebrate’ the birth of Julius and Augustus Caesar throughout the months of July and August. Or you celebrate the existence of the Norse Gods Wodin, Thor, Frigg on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday (literally Wodin’s day, Thor’s day and Frigg’s day). Do you worship the Roman God Saturn each time you use the word Saturday? Mars the God of War when you use the word March? Or deify the moon and sun by using the words Monday and Sunday? The cultural bases of our calendar are many varied, Christianity is simply one of them.

And that’s just our calendar. I take it from your ‘do they want to start…over again’ that you’re unaware there are several other calendars in use around the world?

And I don’t just mean the scientific ones of MYA (millions of years ago) and BP (before present). The Chinese don’t use the Roman calendar and don’t factor Jesus in at all – there’s a lot of people that follow the Chinese calendar. The Islamic calendar – used by a good billion people or so – doesn’t count from Jesus either. The Russians used a different calendar for a portion of last century. At least one of these still-extant calendars is much older than the Christianised Roman calendar so, in effect, Christianity would be the ‘facist homosexuals’ who wanted to start the numerical system over again. If one assumes that only facist homosexuals – as opposed to intelligent and independent humans – could possibly want a different calendar.

As for getting a ‘live’(sic) and starting a new country – you do recall one of the fundamental principles of your country is that religion and government must be kept separate, yes? So, on the contrary friend, if you wish to live in a theocratic democracy it is YOU who must start the new country.

If athiests do not want God any place in their life, it is fine with me. Nobody is forced to worship God or read the Bible. What I find disgusting is they want to impose their beliefs on me and destroy everything related to Christianity. I think their rights end where mine begin, and I have a right to ignore them.

The religious clauses, when written ,were merely restrictions on the federal government which is why the First Amendment clearly states 'Congress shall make no law"". Religion was a state power and NOTHING in the original constitution and Bill of Rights changed that fact.

We always lived in an unofficial theocracy but I don't tell too many atheists that, they tend to get upset.

"Religion in America takes no direct part in the government of society, but it must be regarded as the first of their political institutions."

"I do not know whether all Americans have a sincere faith in their religion; for who can read the human heart? but I am certain that they hold it to be indispensable to the maintenance of republican institutions. This opinion is not peculiar to a class of citizens or to a party, but it belongs to the whole nation and to every rank of society."

French historian, Alexis de Tocqueville—
Democracy in America, Vol. I p. 316

"The First Amendment to the US Constitution explicitly forbids the U.S. federal government from enacting any law respecting a religious establishment, and thus forbids either designating an official church for the United States, or interfering with State and local official churches — which were common when the First Amendment was enacted. It did not prevent state governments from establishing official churches. Connecticut continued to do so until she replaced her colonial Charter with the Connecticut Constitution of 1818; Massachusetts did not disestablish its official church until 1833, more than forty years after the ratification of the First Amendment; and local official establishments of religion persisted even later."

With a democratic president and congress in power, that ship has sailed. Get ready to see more secularization. And with the current weakness of the republican party (being made up of warmongers and religious kooks), it's unlikely you'll regain power anytime soon unless you guys move your ideology to the left.

You forgot one minor detail, five Roman Catholic jurists on the United States Supreme Court, which if my math is correct, does make a majority.Five, that also happen to be fans of religion in the public square. That little oversight on your part will cost you five Our Fathers and five Hail Marys. LOL

On the day of Judgement you will be so sorry that you believed the lie and are about to be sent to a devil's hell for eternity.
God, Jesus and The Holy Ghost are real.
Most of the reason America is in the shape she is in, is the fact that a lot of people are trying to remove God from her. The Bible say's "blessed is a nation who's God is The Lord."
I know some of you don't believe that but this is why we are losing our "blessed ststus."
God is being removed and not honored as God. I feel it's my duty to say this even though i will be blasted by some for it.
Thw truth has to be put out there.
We must turn our country back to God and Jesus or we are doomed.

That is the truth but most are so ignorant and caught up in their own way to realize it. I don't really see America progressing...we just seem to be going down hill.

Well said Cranky old man........If Atheists don't want to hear about God let them excuse themselves from the room they are in or invest in ear phones and listen to something else. I am so tired of a very few people trying to destroy the religious foundation of this country. It is time that we take a stand...It is a shame that one woman succeeded in removing prayer from schools - AND LOOK WHAT HAS HAPPENED IN OUR SCHOOLS TODAY. We stood by and let it happen...SHAME ON US.....NEVER AGAIN. I refuse to keep my mouth shut about the truth and let a small group of people ruin this great country. The more they push God away, the worse things get.......2 Chronicles 7:14 gives us the solution to ALL of our problems.........The more you push God away the worse things are going to continue to get. WAKE UP! Can we not all see the effects of turning our backs on God and trying to deny Him at every turn. If you can't....you have to be blind! If you are an Atheist I challenge you to call out to God and ask Him to prove that He is real.......SEE what happens.......With Much Prayer.....Merry Christmas! Praise the Lord for what He has done!

Dear Seeking truth,
I challenge you to call out to God also and ask Him to prove to you that He is real......Our country is in serious condition...spiritually, financially, and etc. It is because we have turned our backs on God. Things will not turn around until we realize the need for God and call out to Him for forgiveness.

With Prayer.........Merry Christmas...I pray that God opens your eyes to see what I am trying to tell you. Merry Christmas.:)
