Sure you can read it but you don't comprehend it! The really sad thing is that you don't want to comprehend it. As the old saying goes.......you can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink. If the horse doesn't drink he will die. You have a soul that will never die and it's up to you where you live....... Heaven or Hell! You're always wanting facts but somehow you totally ignore what the Bible says. The way you like to dig around in stuff makes me wonder why you don't get it. FYI, John Hagee is a minister in Texas and can be seen on TV. You just might want to tune in and listen to him. He tells it like it is!...
ROFL at your comparison of "If the horse doesn't drink he will die," followed by "You have a soul that will never die ... "! Apparently, my soul continues to drink, according to your logic.

Why should I listen to Hagee in particular? There are lots of other televangelists, like Jimmy Swaggart and Pat Robertson, whom I could watch. But I don't, because I have heard it all long ago.

I was complaining about "Illegal Muslim Prez" quoting as a comment Revelations 18:1 through 24. Why in the world would he quote 24 verses? Possibly because he was afraid that you would say that is is "taking out of context"? Why not quote the entire Bible?(Or, more intelligently, not cite only the reference numbers -- as I just did -- without cluttering up the thread?)

Whew! You sound angry! Your spelling and grammar get bad when you're angry. I'm not a Joyce fan but some people like her. Yes, there are some TV evangelist that make a lot of money. There are probably some that are just in it for the money. When they beg for money.......that's a clue! There are a few that actually preach/teach the word of God. I do not donate to any of them. However, if it were not for some of them there are people that would never hear the word of God. You think what you want of Hagee but he preaches the truth of the Bible. There is nothing wrong with making money and telling the truth. God wants us to be blessed, however, that doesn't always come with monetary gain. Take a deep breath and get your BP down. BTW, the only people going to Hell are those that do not believe in Jesus. Yeah, that's the truth in a nutshell.

I didn't say you should listen to Hagee in particular , I just happen to like him and he preaches the truth. Swaggart does too! I haven't heard Robertson much. The verses of Rev. 18-24 should be printed on the front page of every newspaper in the country. If you just cite the reference numbers, most people wouldn't bother to look it up. If this is old stuff to you, then you should know what is about to happen. A person can't just read the book of Rev. without some study and understand it, or at least I couldn't. It's an exciting book for Christians. P. S. We need more of this thing you call "clutter"!

Actually I didn't. I got home around 7:30, unpacked, showered and went out to eat, went and picked up my dogs from the sitter, got them home and fed, then looked over this weeks schedule and then decided to get stop in here. So actually it was the last thing I did. I dont cruise it hourly as you and Dan do.
Actually, you DO "cruise" this thread hourly. You did last Thursday. Every hour. For 12 hours, missing only one hour. It appears that you are doing exactly what you are accusing Dan and myself of doing.

The book of Revalations is very symbolic and highly subject to interpretation. I just disagree with these radical interpretations. They have been going on for centuries with no results to back them up.

It is statements like that, that show me how little you know or comprehend. I didn't condemn the Bible, I disagreed with interpretation. If you disagree with Roe v. Wade, does that mean you condemn the Constitution? No. I wouldn't think that either, but I understand things better than you do.

Dawg, did you ever have the feeling you were being watched, stalked? I am beginning to feel that way. It is almost as if someone is checking this thread and the first thing they do is look to see what we have been up to. I hardly posted at all this weekend. I think maybe two or three times, but that appears to be the focus of what I am beginning to think of as a stalker. Somebody seems to feel that what I post and how often is very important to them. When someone becomes that wrapped up in what you are doing, it is like you own a piece of them. Think of the power that person gives you. Why can't this ever be someone interesting.

"con't" is actually a typo
I love hyphens. Hyphens often can convert "trivial undertakings" into "trivial-undertakings. " If I wish to, and I do, use hyphens in "copy-and-paste," I shall, regardless of what you and your freshman English teacher think.
I am quite amused that you clearly had to look up the business about hyphens. How do I know?
1) When you are writing your own stuff, you use a normal double-quotation mark -- that is: "
2) When you "copy-and-paste" from some "authoritative source" (because you do not know the proper usage such diacritical markings), your normal (for a typewriter or computer keyboard) double-quotation marks turn into slanted double-quotation marks, like you did above with the opening double-quotation mark " " and the closing double-quotation mark " ".
Can't you write ANYTHING without augmenting your so-called "half-vast" knowledge with information from the internet, without attribution?
Ooops clicked on the wrong post the first time. I hate using these phones for this. These little 5 inch screens are nothing like my 30 inch screen I have at home.

Dawg is your spell check broke? What actually is "con't?" And for the record "copy and paste" does not need the hyphens in between them (because of the and hyphens are not needed). Know that before you keep giving others crap about their little simple mistakes,,,, that you make them as well.
Seriously, crapping on someone for typos and bad grammar while being incapable of good grammar is what we call "hypocrisy."

(hint: use periods after "mistakes" not commas)

C'mon now, "Norton"! Stop wasting time. You said that this thread needs more Bible verses typed into it. Now get out your Bible, and start typing all the verses of the Bible, starting with Genesis 1:1, into this thread. I don't want to have to tell you again, and you should do what you say you believe should be done. No more excuses!

If you only type a few verses, I am going to accuse you of quoting out of context.

It is a shame to see someone waste their time reheating ideas I have used before with better execution. Considering the origin of this intellectual theft, I am not surprised. It might do someone a little benefit to review the history of this thread.

They might see that they bring nothing new to the table except their own brand of excrement.

I am so sick of hearing this crap. Seriously. No one can be this stupid or ignorant of how the world works. Do you think Bill Gates did it all on his own? Do you think the Koch's give a flipping shiite about ANYTHING but keeping as much of their money to themselves as they can, regardless of the fact that their workers pay a higher tax rate than they do? Do you somehow think the Koch's did it "all on their own"? Did you do it all on your own? Stop eating the propaganda. The problem isn't "entitlement" programs you doofus. It's people like you letting the one percent pay half as much in taxes as everybody else because you like the lies they tell you. The problem is people like you worshipping people with money (old money dumbass). The VAST majority of one percenters come from OLD MONEY. They didn't earn it. They got their start from money that their relatives gave them. Yes some of them have gone out and turned it into more money, sometimes a lot more. But they didn't start poor.

Seriously? If letting the one percent not pay taxes, ship jobs to cheaper countries, and generally get away with financial murder worked so well why was Bush Jr's economy considered the worst since the Great Depression? Of course our current President is still working on it. It is and was so bad, our NEXT President will be working on it. Economic depressions like this one last YEARS even DECADES.

Enlighten yourself. Get an education. Stop surfing conspiracy sites all day and go to school. Get a degree. The world has enough stupid people in it without your contribution.

Reagan was not a particularly good president. He claimed he was against taxes, and raised taxes 11 times. About all he was really good at was standing before a microphone and telling us how good things were, as he was creating budget deficits.

Reagan is often credited with taking the Soviet Union down. Only obliquely does this have any truth. The Soviet Union brought itself down.

It is clear that, in the latter days of his administration, he was badly affected by Alzheimers, and his wife Nancy and her fortune-tellers were running the government.
