For all of those that keep saying...
"I'm glad I have coverage through my job" and feel that you are safe from losing your coverage, you are not safe!
The biggest provision of the ACA comes in 2015 when the employer mandate kicks in!
Then, is when you are in real danger of losing your insurance or your full-time status or both which is why Obama and Democrats opposed the Upton bill to make it a law you can keep your plan and Doctor!
I suspect that many are in this category and feel they do not have to comply... but everyone will have to comply eventually in order to aquire healthcare coverage!

The Obama administration has made March 31st as their deadline to sign up millions of unsuspecting Americans for their disaster, Obamacare. Let's send a message that we will not enroll...we will not comply!
Methods to share the event / invite your friends:
There apparently seems to be some misunderstanding among some people regarding what this "event" is about and what it entails.
It is simply an ongoing online event/protest started yesterday and to run until March 31 (originally was Dec 15) to get as many people as we can to say that they will not comply with the Obamacare provision that we have to buy health insurance.
We are not assembling or gathering anywhere on any specific date. All you have to do to participate in this event is not sign up for Obamacare and click "going" on your computer at the top of the invitation.
If we can get tens of thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of people or even a million or more, the media will pay attention and our collective voices will be heard!
Please note: If you do not want to receive notifications, look underneath the cover picture. Find the arrow beside the gear icon and click it. From the drop down menu choose turn off notifications.

Barack Obama's royal healthcare dictate, which he edits at his royal whim, punishes married couples!
This is a plain fact no longer worth debating: Barack Obama considers himself a ruler, his entire term time in office has been about rewarding his fellow statist/corporatist thugs and punishing law abiding citizens who play by the rules.

#52759 Nov 18, 2013
For that fact who knows whether you even have to file tax returns?

So your boyfriend took on the title of wife... how cute, lol.
I did not say welfare leeches such as you Chester, will face punishment like a normal husband and wife. Obama does support your queer community.
Just another example of why you wear Black Spandex as you stated, lol.

Mandates can have unintended consequences...
Higher premiums are an obvious occurrence when mandates force insurers to eliminate co-pays and other measures.
But other, even more deleterious side-effects are also common.
For example, the ACA requires insurers that cover dependents to cover those dependents until age 26. The insurers can raise premiums, of course.
But one way to avoid the added cost is to simply not insure children at all, which one large union decided to do:
One of the largest union-administered health-insurance funds in New York is dropping coverage for the children of more than 30,000 low-wage home attendants, union officials said. The reason? The union can't afford to insure "children" up to age 26, as "Obamacare" requires.
"New federal health-care reform legislation requires plans with dependent coverage to expand that coverage up to age 26, Behroozi wrote in a letter to members Oct. 22.Our limited resources are already stretched as far as possible, and meeting this new requirement would be financially impossible.

Spouses also lose insurance under the ACA...
Why your boss is dumping your wife.
By denying coverage to spouses, employers not only save the annual premiums, but also the new fees that went into effect as part of the Affordable Care Act. This year, companies have to pay $1 or $2 per life covered on their plans, a sum that jumps to $65 in 2014. And health law guidelines proposed recently mandate coverage of employees dependent children (up to age 26), but husbands and wives are optional.
Firms that recently decided to drop spouses from their plans range from private insurance agencies to school systems and universities like Ball State, as well as large companies like pump and valve manufacturer Flowserve. Wisconsin-based furniture company KI carved out spouses this year when couples flocked to its plan for the first time during open enrollment.

Medicare is underfunded by at least $23 trillion...
To think that our inept federal government can do a better job with the ACA is sheer lunacy.
2006 -- Trustees said Medicare insolvent in 2018
2011 -- Obama's Trustees said insolvent in 2017
Medicare Bound to Bust as First Boomers Hit 65
Starting New Year's Day 2011 10,000 Will Reach
Eligibility for Program Every Day for 19 Years, Risking Its Bankruptcy by 2017
The number of people eligible will nearly double from 46 million to 80 million by the time all the boomers reach 65.
It's estimated the cost will grow from $500 billion a year today to $929 billion by 2020.
The number of workers supporting each senior will fall.
Medicare is already underfunded by at least $23 trillion. That's the difference between the benefits promised and the taxes actually being paid into Medicare. It could go bankrupt as early as 2017.
Medicare will run out of money in 8 years.
A nearly identical forecast was released in May 2006:
Medicare's trust fund will run out of money in 2018, two years earlier than previously expected, the program's trustees reported Monday.
It's already operating in the red because it spends more on those services than it brings in. But the fund is now expected to be mostly depleted by 2018 unless Congress acts to lower spending or raise taxes.

What is critical to understanding Democrats...
You have to remember that the Democratic Party is made up of groups that define themselves BY their victimhood.
When the Dems make a comment about protecting the rights of GLBT, even when they represent less than 1 or 2% of the public, they're striking a chord with EVERYONE who sees themselves as a victim... and that's the bulk of the party.
Dems are basically afraid and angry.
They are afraid of the Koch Brothers and "the rich" in general.
They are angry with "Corporations" and profits in general.
Dems see themselves as victims and these are the people they blame. It's a road to power because its very easy to sell gullible people on the idea that their lot in life is the fault of things beyond their control or that their fate is in the hands of powerful secret forces.
They willingly believe because to do so requires no effort on their part. You are merely relieving them of the burden of their decision making.
Once they believe this, it is a trivial matter to tell them that, in exchange for their support, you will give them that which they do not have, did not earn and for which they cannot pay, for this too requires no effort on their part.

A German doctor makes claims about health care...
A German doctor says, "Medicine in my country is so advanced that we can take a kidney out of one man, put it in another and have him looking for work in 6 weeks."
A British doctor says, "That is nothing, we can take a lung out of one person, put it in another and have him looking for work in 4 weeks."
A Canadian doctor says, "In my country, medicine is so advanced that we can take half a heart out of one person, put it in another and have them both looking for work in 2 weeks."
An American doctor, not to be outdone, says, "You guys are way behind... We just took a man with NO brain, made him President and now the whole country is looking for work."

Rep. Trent Franks, Arizona Republican, and other House Republicans are challenging the Affordable Care Act by joining a lawsuit currently
The Constitution says revenue-raising bills must originate in the House, and since the bill that became Obamacare was written in the Senate, House Republicans say thatâs a problem.
Led by Rep. Trent Franks of Arizona, 40 members of the House have signed onto a lawsuit challenging the Affordable Care Act on the grounds that it violates the Origination Clause because it failed to originate in the correct house of Congress.
The lawsuit, filed by the Pacific Legal Foundation in Sacramento, Calif., is now before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia. A federal judge sided in June with the Obama administrationâs defense of the sweeping health-insurance law.
âGiven that an Origination Clause challenge against a taxing bill of this magnitude has never before been mounted, it is imperative that this Court not sanction the lower courtâs superficial analysis of the Origination Clause,â said the House Republicansââfriend-of-the -courtâ brief filed Nov. 8.
Despite its round-one loss, the case, Sissel v. U.S. Department of Health and Human Services is gaining interest among Obamacare critics who see it as the last best chance to overturn the massive health-care program in the courts.
âThis support from members of the House is especially significant because PLFâs lawsuit defends the constitutional authority of the lower chamber, the legislative body that is closest to the people,â said Paul J. Beard II, the foundationâs principal attorney on the case.
The bill that became the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act was originally a House bill giving housing tax credits to veterans, but the Senate deleted the language and substituted the 2,709-page health-care bill in a process known as âgut and amend.â
âIf the Senate can introduce the largest tax increase in American history by simply peeling off the House number from a six-page unrelated bill which does not raise taxes and pasting it on the âSenate Health Care Bill,â and then claim with a straight face that the resulting bill originated in the House, in explicit contravention of the supreme law of the land, then the American ârule of lawâ has become no rule at all,â said the brief.

PRINCETON, NJ -- The 56% of U.S. adults who now say it is not the federal government's responsibility to make sure all Americans have healthcare coverage continues to reflect a record high. Prior to 2009, a clear majority of Americans consistently had said the government should take responsibility for ensuring that all Americans have healthcare.

Staggering new numbers are shedding light on a critical problem in the American healthcare system.
A recent report by the Journal of Patient Safety indicates that between 200,000 and 440,000 people are killed each year in the United States from preventable medical errors. These patients arent dying from the condition that forced them to go to the hospital in the first place. Theyre dying from unintended mishaps.
Eric Andrist is overcome with emotion as he remembers the death of his sister Cali. Andrist cared for his mentally disabled sister day and night, and recalls that once he took her to the emergency room at Providence St Joseph's in Burbank, California for a stomachache. Days later she was dead.
My sister was writhing in pain for so long. It just haunts me. The last moments my sister, are just engrained in my head, Adrist said.
A binder full of medical records shows a long list of possible mistakes healthcare professionals made when treating Cali.
Deadly medical errors can happen at even the most highly rated hospitals. New research shows that up to 440,000 people die every year in America from preventable medical mistakes. That would make it the third leading cause of death in the US, following heart disease and cancer.
The incidence of people dying of errors in hospitals is abysmal in this country. Its really a crisis level problem, said Leah Binder, the president and CEO of Leapfrog Group, a non-profit watchdog group which rates hospital safety in the US.
In 1999, the Institute of Medicine reported that up to 98,000 people a year die because of mistakes in hospitals. In 2013, a study in the Journal of Patient Safety said that number may now be between 210,000 and 440,000 patients: more than the population of Miami, Florida.
Not all medical errors kill, but they can still cause a lifetime of pain.
When will Libtards demand the outlawing of these death camps like their outrage of guns?

How do Socialists feel about Obamacare?
Call it socialized medicine if you dare, but Socialists know it's really fascism.
The Obama administration has designed a health care system aimed at defrauding the population, stripping tens of millions of Americans of decent coverage and rationing health care along class lines. It is a scheme largely authored by the insurance and health care industry to boost their profits by depriving people of medicines, tests and procedures and lowering the life expectancy of workers.
This is the essence of the Affordable Care Act (ACA), better known as Obamacare. It is a health care counterrevolution posing as a progressive reform. Its full enactment will have devastating consequences for the health and the very lives of a large majority of the US population.
One of the newly exposed consequences of the ACA is a sharp reduction in a government subsidy that for years defrayed costs to hospitals for uncompensated and undercompensated care given to poor people. These subsidies have helped provide cancer and other life-saving treatments to those who would otherwise have no access to such care.
These funds for safety-net hospitals are set to be reduced by $18 billion through 2020 and by a possible additional $22 billion by 2019, inevitably resulting in increased suffering, disease and death.
