More Gestapo BS. Don't question us... Or else

The District of Columbia’s insurance commissioner says he was fired after questioning President Obama’s plan to fix ObamaCare and saying the city might not follow his suggestions.

Commissioner William White told The Washington Post on Saturday that he was called into Mayor Vincent Gray’s office the prior day and told the Democratic mayor “wants to go in a different direction.”

The president said Thursday that the millions of insurance plans scheduled to be canceled next year to comply with ObamaCare regulations could be extended for a year, after he told Americans prior to the law’s passage that they could keep their existing plans.

However, White and other insurance commissioners across the country have questioned the president’s proposed solution because it could create a mess in the marketplace.

Some of the top reasons for the commissioners’ objections are: policy prices are already locked in to comply with changes in ObamaCare; an extension could conflict with state-level laws to comply with the law and younger Americans needed to join the federal exchange to keep down costs will wait to enroll.

White told the newspaper that the deputy mayor who asked him to leave didn’t say the request was about his remarks.

City officials have not commented on the situation, saying they cannot discuss personnel issues. However, a city official suggested to The Post, on the condition anonymity, that White posted the statement on the city’s website before getting it approved.

The District and 16 states run their own health-care exchange, compared to the 36 states that have instead chosen to let residents shop and purchase insurance on the federal exchange.

“The action today undercuts the purpose of the exchanges, including the District’s DC Health Link, by creating exceptions that make it more difficult for them to operate,” White said Thursday in a statement.

He also agrees with a National Association of Insurance Commissioners statement that said Obama’s order “threatens to undermine the new market, and may lead to higher premiums and market disruptions in 2014 and beyond.”

<quoted text>You've plainly stated you keep your $26M safely stashed away at home (in a jar). You claim TOPIX censors 5 outta 6 of you posts. You claim the IRS has it in for you and wants an explanation for every $10K transfer you make. That OSHA agents are targeting your businesses because of your political beliefs. Only a metal hat would sound worse.

You're pathological liar! I've clearly stated $24M and you made up the jar bullshit you idiot!
Again, you're a pathological liar! I said 4 or 5 posts you idiot!
Never said IRS had it in for me liar! I said they inquired about cash in access of $10,000 and many $100,000 withdrawals you idiot!
I said One OSHA Agent came to inspect and not one word about political belief. You twisted up the bullshit you continue to spew liar!
Perhaps you should remove your metal hat because it does make your lies sound worse since I never said what you lied and said LIAR!

You on the other hand... sure spend a lot of time, trying to convince total strangers here on Topix how wonderfully blissful your life is and how superior you are Chester.

What's up with that? Trying to convince someone... like yourself perhaps, since no one else in the world cares?

You are quite the troll but... at least you are good at something.

While I don't think that it's possible for a 4th grade drop out with no future, such as yourself...

Try posting something relevant to the thread, Chester.

My $24 Million is not relevent to any current discussions or interests of this thread but... I do find your envy and obsession quite hilarious.

Is anyone surprised Obama's only real "accomplishment" is a catastrophic failure?
Many saw this coming and were called radicals or racists, for speaking up.

Just wait until the corporate mandates kick in, the disaster grows larger... if that's possible.

Not a pretty picture for the majority of Tax Paying Americans.

It's not like they weren't warned they're dragging us down. I think that's the plan Clower Piven Plan and all.

Obama just keeps stepping in it...

America's Health Insurance Plans, the main industry trade group, said Obama's offer comes too late and could lead to higher premiums, since companies already have set 2014 rates based on the assumption that many people with individual coverage will shift over to the new markets created under the law.

"Changing the rules after health plans have already met the requirements of the law could destabilize the market and result in higher premiums for consumers, Karen Ignagni, president of the industry group, said in a statement in reaction to Obama's plan.

Lies, Damn Lies and ObamaCare...

When it comes to ObamaCare, everyones mincing words these days. Theyre afraid to say our Progressive Democrat leaders lied.

Well, heres how I see it. It sure looks to me as if the President of the United States, members of his administration, and Democratic Congressional leaders didnt just lie. I think they intentionally perverted the truth. And I think they did it because, if they didnt, they knew the bill wouldnt pass through Congress.

And Congress passed a bill it knew would dramatically impact Americans' rights, you know, our inalienable constitutional right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, without even reading it. And they subverted the constitution by using the Commerce Clause to ram it through the Senate without a single Republican vote.

Common Core curriculum is trying to socialize Texas...

This is an assignment in which the children are encouraged to design their own socialist flag.

They are also required to incorporate things in the flag that they believe would be qualities they would want in their new socialist nation.

How about a flag designed as an old school food stamp?

ABC's This Week, Martha Radditz interviewed Senator Kirsten Gillibrand(D) NY and the Senator admitted ALL THE DEMOCRATS KNEW that ObamaCare implementation would knock people off of their individual healthcare plans and they would loose their doctors!

Finally, we have 1 Democratic Senator who has decided to stop lying to the American People. We knew from documents released 2-3 weeks ago that this was always the plan and was written into the ACA law. But as late as Friday Nancy Pelosi was still lying to the American People and so was Reid and Durbin! Nancy's website still had the official LIE Obama told all of us "if you like your healthcare you can keep it, if you like your doctor you can keep him".

Is this the beginning crack to the Socialist takeover of our country. Who else will follow and admit they knew all along what Obama's 'DREAM' of change in Amerika really was all about?

Your $26M (you claimed that amount earlier)
really isn't relevant as you say, it's non-existant.
I'm wealthy and I can tell you're fake.

TOPIX isn't censoring your posts as you claim
either.

You post from Langley, Perkins, Alton
and etc, all those dumps have a
Indian trailer casino with free
WiFi in common. All the local
millionaires meet you there ?

Watch out for those rogue IRS agents,
they're still out to get you.
And they pass themselves off as Indians too.

I have often wondered why it is that Conservatives are called the "right" and Liberals are called the "left.

Fox News---We Deceive, You Believe.

It has been revealed that Fox News does practice using paid commenters with fake social media accounts, to deceive the online community. Members of Foxs online PR staff created between twenty and a hundred fake profiles on social media accounts each. The accounts are used by PR staff in order to push the stations extreme right-wing agenda.

The point of these fake commenters is not just to push a specific agenda. Its also to deceive the unsuspecting public about the actual amount of support that exists for that agenda. Paid commenters use vicious attacks against anyone who posts an opposing opinion. Eventually the attacks have the effect of driving people with opposite views away from the targeted sites. This allows them to dominate the web with their fake profiles, while at the same time discouraging real people from participating in the discussion.

The right-wing agenda being pushed by these paid commenters, hired by Fox and other sources, doesnt just include tax breaks for the rich and the myth of corporate person-hood. It includes racism, sexism, homophobia, hatred of the poor and much more

"Gamechanger: Afghanistan veteran and Tea Partier enters SC Senate race to defeat Lindsey Graham

Frustration among conservatives over SC Senator Lindsey Graham has continued to reach the boiling point as evidenced by the fact that Graham has received five official GOP censures from within SC over the last three months.

Enters Bill Connor: Connor is a Lt. Colonel in the Army reserve (Airborne Ranger 23 years) who volunteered for a tour in Afghanistan where he was awarded the Bronze Star and served as the US Senior Advisor in Helmand Province.

Connor spoke at one of the first tea parties in the nation on the banks of the Reedy River in Greenville in early 2009, something he says that fueled a fire in him and led him to get into statewide politics and to involvement with the tea party movement.

After returning from Afghanistan in 2010, Connor entered politics by running for Lt. Governor and made it into the GOP runoff against the establishment candidate Ken Ard. Ard later resigned in shame after taking office and receiving probation for misuse of campaign funds. Connor was the first candidate in 2010 to receive the endorsement of the afore mentioned Myrtle Beach Tea Party.

A graduate of The Citadel and the University of South Carolina (USC) School of Law, Connor also serves as Director of the Army’s Command and General Staff College (ILE) in SC and is a member of the U.S. Counterterrorism Advisory Team. Along with partner W. Thomas Smith Jr., Connor founded National Defense Consultants LLC, a partnership providing clients with military analysis ranging from geostrategy to special operations; counterterrorism; ground, naval, and air combat; military leadership and military law. He is also a practicing attorney.

Democrats have been hit by a public backlash over millions of people who have had their policies canceled because the plans do not meet new consumer protections mandated by the law. The administration's troubled enrollment Website, HealthCare . gov, also is still not working properly, more than six weeks after its launch.

Obama Quote:
That means that no matter how we reform health care, we will keep this promise to the American people: If you like your doctor, you will be able to keep your doctor, period. If you like your health-care plan, youll be able to keep your health-care plan, period. No one will take it away, no matter what.

President Obama, speech to the American Medical Association, June 15, 2009 (as the health-care law was being written.)

And if you like your insurance plan, you will keep it. No one will be able to take that away from you. It hasnt happened yet. It wont happen in the future.

Obama, remarks in Portland, April 1, 2010, after the health-care law was signed into law.

The administration is defending this pledge with a rather slim reed that there is nothing in the law that makes insurance companies force people out of plans they were enrolled in before the law passed. That explanation conveniently ignores the regulations written by the administration to implement the law. Moreover, it also ignores the fact that the purpose of the law was to bolster coverage and mandate a robust set of benefits, whether someone wanted to pay for it or not.

The presidents statements were sweeping and unequivocal and made both before and after the bill became law. The White House now cites technicalities to avoid admitting that he went too far in his repeated pledge, which, after all, is one of the most famous statements of his presidency.

For all of those that keep saying...

"I'm glad I have coverage through my job" and feel that you are safe from losing your coverage, you are not safe!

The biggest provision of the ACA comes in 2015 when the employer mandate kicks in!

Then, is when you are in real danger of losing your insurance or your full-time status or both which is why Obama and Democrats opposed the Upton bill to make it a law you can keep your plan and Doctor!

I suspect that many are in this category and feel they do not have to comply... but everyone will have to comply eventually in order to aquire healthcare coverage!
