The thing to always keep in mind is...the republicans’ don’t do anything for the benefit of the nation; that is not their primary concern. They only do things for the benefit of themselves and the grossly rich people the willingly whore themselves out to.
Everyone else are just useful idiots to them, to be used and thrown away when they are done.

The cost of the uninsured people who do not have the money to pay for medical care and end up in emergency rooms with things that could and should have been prevented or caught early is borne by the rest of the public through their insurance companies or out of their pocket, one way or another. Has no one ever seen the difference in a hospital bill for a cash-paying patient and an insured patient? Those who pay cash are soaked for a huge amount to attempt to cover the cost of taking in those who cannot pay at all. And the cost of emergency care would be reduced dramatically by simply giving everyone simple preventative care and early care of problems that cannot be prevented.

I do not believe you understand that everyone who wants and needs insurance will be covered under the Affordable Health Plan one way or another either by paying for a plan themselves or relying on their local state Medicaid program if they either do not have a job, or have a low-paying job that does not offer insurance coverage if they in fact meet
their State's Medicaid eligibility requirements. That is of course their state has accepted the Extended Medicaid coverage offered through the Affordable Care Act.

I, for one appreciate, the effect that moderate, thoughtful Republicans can have on reining in some of the more outlandish characters on the left wing. Ideally, Democrats act like the the gas on a car, and Republicans are like the brakes: one pushes for forward progress, the other checks that progress to make sure it doesn't get out of control.

The Tea Party, on the other hand, are like an anchor thrown out the back of the car: the only two acceptable options for them are not going anywhere, ever again, or tearing the whole thing in half.

The GOP is in the process of killing itself and that can not happen soon enough for the good of our country. The GOP did not have a majority in Congress from 1928 till the 1970's, and that is when the US began reversing all the
accomplishments that decent LIBERALS had fought for. The GOP has no interest in the good of the American people...they are anti American, hate our constitution and hate our country and form of government. The republican party as it is now is the enemy of the American people, and I hope every one of them rots in hell.

I always wanted to visit America because it is such an incredible place and I know that their would be millions of truly wonderful people living there but in all reality I have more chance of being shot as a tourist in America than ever being shot In Australia and this has made myself and I am sure many other people wary of visiting. After the Port Arthur massacre in which 35 people were killed and 28 wounded our Government changed the law so that no one other than Official Police or military (some security guards) could carry a concealed weapon ,no Automatic weapons at all and semi automatic weapons are to be for occupational hunters only. Before this there had been 11 mass shootings since then there have been none. All guns are registered and all gun owners licenced.

Obviously the Australian legislators had their heads on straight. We, on the other hand, have been overrun by the greedy Tea Party and the NRA & thus the crap that goes on in our country. I yearn for the days of reason...they just don't exist anymore here.

Gutless people, with very tiny penises and a lot of drugs and money want more. More of what exactly is the issue. More of the same seems to be the answer. Drug. Drug, Shoot. Shoot. Wank. Wank. I suppose if we could teach the fuckers to speak grammatically correct English, we could have a conversation about what exactly pointing a polished, rifled tube at someone's head with the threat of a 140grain charged piece of shaped lead entering the cranial cavity at 6500 ft per (or more) second... Do you know what happens? You die. Except for those very rare occasions when the bullet bounces off the occipital recess and bounds into the Elysian Field in the shape of a cherub... No, you die.
The official signs of death include the following{
no pupil reaction to light
no response of the eyes to caloric (warm or cold) stimulation
no jaw reflex (the jaw will react like the knee if hit with a reflex hammer)
no gag reflex (touching the back of the throat induces vomiting)
no response to pain
no breathing
a body temperature above 86 °F (30 °C), which eliminates the possibility of resuscitation following cold-water drowning
no other cause for the above, such as a head injury
no drugs present in the body that could cause apparent death
all of the above for 12 hours
all of the above for six hours and a flat-line electroencephalogram (brain wave study)
no blood circulating to the brain, as demonstrated by angiography

And not a single piece of beneficial legislation passed
from 1928 to 1970 without requiring Republican compromise
and support ? Yeah,right.

You sound like one of those losers that even
embarrass the Democratic party.

Why are Obama and the Senate Democrats still threating to hold up Seniors Social Security Checks? Obama is lying again because he can't hold Seniors Hostage, as much as he would like to do. Obama doesn't control the money, he just wastes money when he can get away with it.

The Government was funded as he asked the House over a week ago, all Obama has to do is tell Harry Reid to quit playing games and to pass the House bill in the Senate so he can sign it.

If he doesn't, then we know, Obama really wanted a Government shutdown all along and Majority of Americans will just blame him and Democrats like they did in 2010 Mid-Term Elections.

Honestly, you make Limbaugh sound sane.
Why the sudden hypocritical interest in SS checks.
Rush say Social Security recipients are
social parasites and benefits should be reduced.

At least you should try to be a mainstream
right wing, fundamentalist, pro-life,
gun worshipping fanatic.

Limbaugh doesn't take your calls anymore,
does he.

WASHINGTON, D.C.
The Senate has intentionately altered passed legislation, clearly hoping to provoke a federal government shutdown on Tuesday.

It is clear the Senate Democrat and the Republican-run House will not be able to complete a compromise bill in time to get it to Community Disorganizer and President, Barack Hussein Obama in time, just as he hoped would happen. Conservatives have been trying to use the bill as a way to stop or seriously weaken Obamacare. The American people didn’t really want a government shutdown but... they definately don’t want Obamacare Rammed Down Their Throats either and realize a shut down will not hurt the American People so let the Democrats Shut It Down.

House Republican leaders said in a joint statement.“We will do our job exactly as The American People Elected us to do and send 'The Peoples Bill' over and then it’s up to Barack Hussein Obama to persuede The Senate Democrats to quit playing Games and pass it and stop their intended government shutdown gamesmanship.” If not then The American People will see that Obama and Progressive Democrats wanted to shut down the government all along.

The Senate removed language passed by the house that would have blocked any secretly added money for the health care law as it slowly falls off the financial cliff.

So as the federal government on Saturday barrels toward its first shutdown in 17 years, House Republicans chose a hard line for the American People, demanding a one-year delay of President Obama’s health care law just like he gave Corporate America as well as considering the same for Unions and the repeal of a tax to on medical devices that many hard working taxpaying American need before approving any funds to keep the government running.

House Plans Funding the Peoples Bill, With Conditions The American People Demand...
Republicans emerged from a closed-door meeting Saturday unified and confident that they had the votes to delay the Affordable Care Act for a year for the American People too and to eliminate a tax on medical devices. A vote was expected later on Saturday.

“The federal government has shut down 17 times before, sometimes when the Democrats were in control, sometimes with divided government,” said Representative Virginia Foxx, Republican of North Carolina.“What are we doing on our side of the aisle? We’re fighting for the American people.”

Separately, the House will also vote to ensure Seniors get their Social Security Checks and the Military Forces continue to be paid in the event of a Democrat Provoked Government Shutdown. With Democrats in the Senate saying they would not accept the new proposal, that attitude and repulsive action all but ensures that large swaths of the government will be shuttered as of 12:01 a.m. on Tuesday. Thanks Democrats!
