I would describe the abuses of the IRS as insidious and illegal. I would also suggest it is in the interest of both parties to root out this illegal behavior and put those guilty no matter how high this goes in jail. If this isn't corrected in full without political gaming on either the republican or democratic side, no citizen in the United States will ever recover any trust in the IRS or in government of any administration. This is serious and touches every single one in America.

As long as there are taxes, we will have the IRS. Someone still has to collect and make sure everyone is not cheating the U.S.A.

I know the Politicians like to make us believe that if elected they can make the IRS go away, but these are the same people that tell us they are for education, and when they are running for office, and when they get to the Capitol they cut the education budget.

I don't think anybody has ever trusted the IRS. They aren't our friend. All we are to them is a social security number.

Fox News and Conservative Talk Radio Republicans:
These are one of the angriest groups of Republicans. They watch Fox News or listen to Conservative Talk Radio and they think it makes them an expert on politics. The only knowledge they have of politics is parroted talking points without any facts to back them up. When you defeat them in debate they will resort to calling you names like “Liberal,”“commie,”“socialist” or “baby-killer” etc. They think all liberals are socialists that want to take their money and give it to people who don’t deserve it.
The reason why this type of Republican is an idiot:
They have no idea what they are talking about. Usually they’re just repeating things they have heard from Glenn Beck or Rush Limbaugh. They think that liberals want to take away their freedoms and they clearly don’t know what the word “liberal” means, or what liberals have done for our country and freedom. They think President Obama is comparable to Hitler for passing health-care reform. They accuse you of watching MSNBC if you don’t agree with them. They call you a sheep but expect you to blindly believe everything they tell you, without question.
What to Remember when debating them:
Keep demanding facts from them to back up their assertions until they break down and call you any of the aforementioned names. Ask them to name specific freedoms that liberals have taken away from them. They have a tendency to become violent so watch their hands if you are debating them face to face.

Just because I don't hate Republicans like you do doesn't give the right to attack me every chance you get.

I think you are exactly right. I never 'liked' the IRS because I think I have to pay a way to many taxes but I assumed what laws and guidelines were being equally administered to everyone. Clearly the train jumped the tracks big time with outrageous abuses to only conservative groups.

I don't know how many employees the Cincinnati office has, but as of right now everyone is guilty until proven innocent including house keeping, thanks to the media sharks.

We have someone who enjoys taking other people's usernames and posting b.s. if you look back earlier on this thread the same person would post perverted sexually explicit posts against anyone who didn't tow the progressive liberal agenda's talking points. This thread has people who are republican, democrat and independent, Christian, non-christain and agnostic, atheist even but only one who is a rabid foaming at the mouth progressive liberal. Only intermittently does 'she' deviate from the rabid posture then she will return back to it often times posting under others usernames usually after she falsely claims she's taking a trip or won't be posting for a while...LOL. Just watch I've watched this cycle for 3 years, Tamara, MistyGirl,Jag,Packing Heat and a few others have all figured out her cycle.

You should have recorded it, lol. Very enlightening, and shocking just how bad the situation really is at the IRS. Maybe you have a friend who did record the entire hearing? Make sure it's all of it because there were several both republicans and democrats who refused to be buffaloed and manipulated when questioning Miller and it's clear this was systemic 'on purpose' targeting of only certain specific groups by the IRS.

The IRS employees are people too, they are subject to the same emotions and misdeeds as the rest of us. Except for me. I'm perfect. My dog tells me so every time I play ball with her. My kids don't think so, but they don't know, they don't even have jobs.

That's why this hearing today was so important to see. If you listen to the MSM it was suppose to be a couple of rogue employees out of the Cincinnati Office. Miller even tried to perpetuate 'a few' employees in the Cincinnati Office. Under further hard questioning he said around 100+(don't remember the exact number)employees then later in the hearing another skilled Congressman who obviously was very comfortable with interrogating a witness got Miller to admit it wasn't just the 'Cincinnati Office' involved and the department which is guilty is somewhere around 200 employees then what Miller called an additional handful of other employees who are scattered all over the U.S. who coordinated with the department in Cincinnati to target these conservative groups. Miller keep saying it was just a mistake which both democrats and republicans congressmen equally didn't buy for a minute. Charlie Rangel was livid. But he wasn't the only one!

Good IRS professionals should be enraged by those who were involved in this illegal behavior. Emotions? Are you saying calling the IRS on the carpet might hurt someone's feelings? Please tell me that wasn't your intent!

That's Entertainment! I'm Bipolitical. My friends tell me it is because I like to argue, but after about 5 minutes of me telling them how wrong they are, they shut up.

I'm sure they aren't surprised. They have to work with them every day. In fact, I'm sure the good ones are hoping to see the bad ones go to jail, if that's what it takes to get them the hell away from them. Vindictive people are holes by nature, and aren't pleasant to be around.

Entertainment? I wouldn't describe mass postings of gibberish in an effort to interfere with the free exchange of information by posters who are interested in sharing information on a topic as entertainment. Then the same fudpucker progressive liberal will post under other people's names on more than one thread disgusting jokes or claims. That isn't entertainment that sabotage of free speech. We now understand with clarity that progressive liberals reserve free speech only for themselves!

Then they should do the legal job they were paid to do. I don't worry about feelings or emotions this is about performing your PAID job in a LEGAL, ETHICAL manner. If they were 'forced' to engage in wrong behavior or lose their jobs by someone higher up the food chain, then we have whistleblower laws and they should come forward.
