Helps put a drain on it since we're paying for it with our tax dollars and as you should know Mexican nationals are eligible. What is needed is JOBS so people can work and pay for their groceries they need by money they earned.

Will you allow me the pleasure of explaining why I believe SNAP is a good thing for our economy? Next to education; economics is my favorite subject. But please don't get me stared on The Economics of Education. I'm trying to watch the Thunder play.

I here some Tea Party members say things like; taxes bad, taxes illegal, taxes unconstitutional, and then get their feelings hurt when they are profiled as tax dodgers. I guess they aren't over what W did to them.
I guess that they are surprised about their Motto "Taxed Enough" would get the attention of the IRS.

They through out terms like Qualitative Easing which the Fed did to stabilize the markets and buy up all the bad debt. As an answer for why the Stock Market is so high..

What they don't know is that really things are getting better. That doesn't fit into their whole premise 'Obama Bad.'

They have no idea that a dollar spent by the poor gets back in the market and runs the economy better than a dollar to a rich person.

Especially when the poor person is buying food and clothes while the Rich person is putting his money in the stock market.

I have told them over an over that I would rather have customers with money than any tax break but it falls on deaf ears.

The Repubs on this board are anti-poor people. I learned that a long...long time ago.
I don't have to include the poor in my speech about SNAP. I'm anti poor people too. I wish the poor weren't poor, it would be the best thing that could ever happen to our great country.

Fine, except last night we had 8 morons drunk and speeding around the lake then ran right smack into a big house boat. Killed 2. Other than that everything is wonderful my way. I hope all is well your way. That was a great response you just posted.
Best Regards
Thanks :) Sorry to hear the idiots visited your area. Never had any patience with stupidity! You don't have a do-over when you kill someone, death is final.

We are fine here, doing a lot of yard work, tomorrow my 4 year old grandson is having a graduation party, he attends a private school and my son spoke with the teacher last week and she said the party was supposed to be paid part by the school and part by the parents donating X number of dollars per student. Apparently only my son and daughter-in-law paid for their son and the teacher said that the other parents had failed to return the self addressed envelope she sent out weeks earlier, so the teachers were going to take up a collection and pay for the party. Well my son thought that was so ridiculous he just paid for the whole thing. He was still griping yesterday about how so many parents don't support the school activities like they should. Oh well people are always looking for a free ride. So tomorrow I get to see 'little man' dressed to the 9's graduate. Wonderful memories!

The economy is only getting better for the wealthy, but that shouldn't surprise anyone because our economy is set up for their pleasure.

Sorry, Misty, qualitative easing by the Fed was done at the height of unemployment and buying back the bad debt during the heights of the Recession. They are not doing that today.

In fact it is almost criminal that were not borrowing money. The Eurozone is going down...and it's going to take them a while to go back up....

Their wealthy want to loan us money or really 'park' their money in the US because it's such a safe bet. And loan it really at barely at 1 or 2%. We are such a safe haven for their money.

We could be building our electrical grid or a hundred of other projects and we would be flying but to many of the members of Congress know economics like you...which is next to nothing.

And SNAP is a great deal to get out of our troubles too. They spend their SNAP money, don't bank it, in businesses that hire people which put people back to work.

The should increase Social Security for the same reason...

Degrading who...Republicans.
Your party is what, the Tea Party?
Quit flying the flag, you all did it all through the George Bush administration..Don't you remember the 'Either your with us or your against us.
Yes, I have Constitutional rights as well as you. And I have the right to point out the numerous hypocracies of the Right.Or those on this thread.
In case your unaware, I'm about the only Dem/progressive on this board. If you want an echo chamber of only Republican/tea party types your better off at Fox Nation or Free Republic.
If you wish to discuss the issues, here I am. You want to shut down any viewpoint that differs from yours as unAmerican...well that unAmerican.
If you want your viewpoints to be viewed as fact, well I don't unless you have citations to back you up, as I don't think you are working in D.C. for a party to have first hand knowledge. Nor are you a recognized as a big time pollster to have your pulse on the Nation.
And as for standing up for me...plenty of people have claimed being an Independent on here, but every thing they write is 100% right wing.
Your the only progressive liberal loon whose a registered democrat on this thread but your not the only democrat on this thread that has been established a long time ago.

For the wealthy it never got 'bad.'

For people it's getting better, somewhat. I know that I made more money this year and my business is really humming along.

But we really need another influx of cash to start working on the things we really need. But until the Republicans get out of their 'austerity' fixations and start saying 'yes' to things. It's sad that they worked so hard to make the President a one termer and not to make jobs number one. Now the are to enamored with Issa's witch hunts like they did during the Clinton administration.

They have to lose a couple of more elections before the realize that the Founders wanted political parties to be the 'loyal opposition' not plotting when one was out of power just how fast they could impeach the opposing parties President.

The feds are buying US Bonds dumbazzhat, because the world isn't buying them, this has been discussed at length on this thread and you always twist and turn bits and pieces and try to manipulate the truth to fit the talking points Media Matters and your boss George Soros told you to say to defuse and deflect from the issue at hand. NOT WORKING.

Free rides at private schools are hard to come by. They should have a class for it in college. How to make the most out of a very expensive education 101.

Too bad that Obama didn't make 'Jobs' job 1 during his first term.
Hardly a witch hunt when the IRS has admitted partial guilt and issued a apology but there is obviously much more to the story. Then Obama HAS THE HEAD OF THE IRS RESIGN, yep heads rolling over nothing?

My son thought it was ridiculous not to support the school for a graduation party for the class. These parents aren't scraping by week to week, earlier this year one of kids had a birthday and his parents gave the rest of the students a first class ticket to fly to Disneyland in California for the child birthday party. The reason I knew about it was my daughter-in-law went with our grandson even had hotel rooms for all the little tikes and chaperones paid for...can't beat a deal like that.

Your welcome. Yes but unfortunately this is just the beginning, we have the whole summer ahead of us so I expect more will be up here doing the same. Things like last night doesn't seem to slow them down so it is really clear that stupidity just can't be fixed.

I hear you on the yard work. I have right at 15 acres here so I have a full time yard crew to keep it mowed and all the trimming. One person cannot keep up with it and it helps the guys I have doing it.

Congradulations to your "little man". I know you're proud of him and yes these are when all those wonderful memories are happening.

Yea Obama taught the ACTING Commissioner a lesson.
He now has to go back to his old job as Deputy Director of the IRS, but he isn't going to get a raise, he will still be only making $200,000+ a year.
