I guess treatment for the heart in an elderly patient depends on what it is. Quadruple bypasses or heart transplants in your 80's or 90's doesn't happen now.

Living with millions uninsured that are under the age of Medicare doesn't seem to bother those fussing about Obamacare.

So crying about the elderly while ignoring the rest of the population is not going to be a winning argument anymore.

The Sequester is going to hurt everyone. Furloughing federal employees will result in furloughing medicare and social security employees as well as put a strain on the implementation of Obamacare. Everybody will feel the pain.

Other groups of people believed in eradication of those they no longer wanted in society because of their ethnic background. They got rid of those also do you remember the lessons we learned from that historical event?

If not, then I suggest you read about the Nuremberg Trials. When a society no longer values members whether they be the unborn, young, infirmed or elderly then that society has crossed over into the same terrority of the Aryan Brotherhood and the Nazi SS by getting rid of the Jews.

Respect your elders, in your case they are indeed your betters.

Then how do we deal with the more unfortunate?

Do we just leave them to starve?

Some people are just not able to work and/or take care of themselves.

Do we do as Hitler did, Not fit to work or take care of thyself, than the gas chambers?

Clyde that tells me that you have never supported yourself. Majority of people now on social security and in the past always supported themselves and paid their own way and carried health ins. and paid their taxes to the government. So since thes people did all this and paid their share into So. Security and Medicare they are entitled.
What are you on Medicaid which you did not pay a red cent into and it is funded by the government which is the taxing paying ( Federal and State) people.

The wealthy will still get whatever medical care they need so now we have a two tiered system where the wealthy get the best care and the rest on ObamaCare get to die earlier because they are no longer of value according to Obamabots.

On the sequestor your hero Obama and Jack Lew along with the White House dreamed up this little mechanism to use. Obama has shown next to no involvement in trying to resolve the fact the democrats FAILED for 4 years to provide a budget which would have avoided this sequestration. At least the republicans brought a budget to the table even though it was tabled by Harry Reid.

Another thing to understand is the 85 billion cut is on the INCREASE above what was funded and only approximately 44 billion will go into effect this year. Obama and the democrats will have enough members in Congress to decide exactly where those cuts will happen. But they don't want to be responsible for the cuts because they are all about growing the federal government and paying for votes to keep them in power.

The republicans agreed to increase on taxes and alienated the entire conservative side which will probably keep them out of power. Where is the courage on the democratic side to do the right thing and get a budget together?

If people for any reason because of health cannot work yes they should be getting help. Most people get it thru Medicaid which they will be getting healthcare. But people that can work and don't try then they should not be getting the same kind of government help. For those government assistance does not mean a forever thing. It is in place to help you get back on your feet and take care of yourself. But the ones that are unable to work because of health reasons then there should be no time limit to how long they get government help.

Republicans are the minority in the good old USA.

It is very fortunate that they come into power only occasionally. It usually takes 12 to 16 years to undo their stupidity.

After keating and the state ho fallin, it will take 50 years for Oklahoma to see any progress.

Yah for you and now with the rest of the story. The dems have over played their hand and businesses are looking to relocate. The latest one is Magpul from Colorado because the rabid dems who now control that state are putting in gun controls that will put that business out of business. If it passes then Magpul is leaving and along with the move goes the jobs. Democrats say Magpul is bluffing it will cost them to much to move. I would believe the tax breaks some states would give them to move into their state would off set whatever the move would cost nicely!

Let me invite you to Oklahoma and please call our Gov.Fallin to discuss what incentives Oklahoma can provide for you....

No it is not hurting everyone! Those of us with money are the ones it is helping! I have been able to buy a lot of stuff from those that are in desperate need of money to make ends meet for ten to twenty cents on the dollar and then sell if for a decent tax free profit.

It is with great hope that we see strains of all kinds implementing Obamacare and with any luck in will collapse under its own weight. Doctors say that a key government provision in the Affordable Care Act, the huge expansion of Medicaid enrollees, is likely to backfire, as almost half (49%) say they will stop accepting Medicaid payments.

Medicare draws even more complaints. Three-quarters (74%) say they will stop accepting new Medicare patients or leave it completely. Another 27% say they will start restricting services to their current Medicare patients.

Doctors clearly understand what Washington does not, that a piece of paper that says you are “covered” by insurance, or “enrolled” in Medicare or Medicaid does not translate to actual medical care when doctors won’t see patients at the lowball payments and patients have to jump through bureaucratic hoops to find a doctor that will see them if they can.

27% Pay Cut Or Not, More Docs To Leave Medicare In 2013. And even if Congress does head off the cut temporarily as it has in the past, doctors are increasingly leaving the Medicare program given its unpredictable funding. So the bottom line is, if you get Obama to send you a policy of coverage does not mean a doctor will see you therefore you may have to go to the emergency room anyway or do like some of us and pay cash.

It's all part of the agenda of Obama's socialist regime to have a one payer system. It doesn't work for the people but you can't teach a libertard jack.

Even a single-payer system will not work any better if doctors switch to a cash only practice and leave it to the patient to file for the partial re-imbursement under the new law. That way the doctor gets his price it takes to make a profit and will leave it to the patient to eat the loss. Like they say, there is always more than one way to skin the welfare cat.

As for the buying of goods from those going broke, I am finding a lot of good deals now. Craigslist has been a good source to turn that stuff into a healthy cash profit. Did I mention it is completely tax free profit. All sales are for cash only and it has been great both in buying and selling.

And you are correct, anyone that files a tax return will be required to buy health insurance under current law.

Hey Libtards, try this new concept. Great Idea with real change you can believe in!

Oklahoma's Republican Legislators this session are seeking changes in federal assistance programs that are popular among no-income and greedy Liberals in Oklahoman.

The Legislature last year passed a measure subjecting welfare recipients to drug tests, and so far this year close to a dozen measures have been introduced targeting assistance programs that Liberals abuse.

Some of the bills create new requirements for those Liberals who receive assistance. They include making liberal recipients that voted for Obama work more hours, or prohibit certain liberal people, such as those convicted of drug crimes or with $5,000 or more in assets, from receiving benefits.

House Speaker T. W. Shannon has a bill that would require able-bodied Liberals, childless liberal adults under 50 to spend a minimum of 35 hours per week engaged in "work activities" before receiving food stamps. He says he wants to encourage Liberals to exercise "personal responsibility." So does the Conservative Taxpayer!
In other words,“don’t work, don’t eat”! That’s change you can believe in.

What's sad is your free cell phone needs to be charged so run along and plug it in before your favorite Simpson's episode comes on.
