yep rodney would be the best sheriff if you want drugs in the sheriff office like the drug problem is in the jail right now and as for freddie lewis rodney is just using him to run for jailer so the vote will split so his person can get elected, and the smart ones know who this person is. as for melvin he is just plain dumb he only got to be chief field deputy because years ago he was fooling around with thee sheriffs daughter mildred.
That is not true at all, Freddie is a good person and would do a good job. He just wants to be with his family and work here. Can't blame him at all plus he would do great in that job!

And another thing a mine inspector would have to catch those people on drugs or doing them to pull em out somebody's tryin to blow up a feed sack and somebody's rep at the same time. The one thing Puke county does need is honesty one way or the other and somebody that isn't In it just for money and payoffs and kick backs! Pike in Ky and Mingo in WV are the armpits of the country. These politicians turning a blind eye to their 'friends' dealin on the side of the road in plain view has to be getti to everybody else just like me, we work hard for our money so these comp

sorry buddy you are very wrong, the new law was passed that if you fail a drug test and are a miner you are pulled out. You don't have to get caught doing it. Look it up!! Do you work in mines? Or anywhere else?

I'm a female what I was referring to was u have yet to hear of no such amount of men being pulled out because if drug testing the most I've heard if us about six and by then the rest were ready or didn't show back up and went out on comp before they were tagged a dope head and black balled. I know we have to have to elect someone but seems like around the good ole boy buddy system stretches so far it's impossible to elect someone wuthout an agenda or already have their palms greased.

no... please not Melvin.... he is not the right man for the job. he is as crooked as they come. He could never be a real Sheriff... he wouldnt even be a deputy without Fuzzee giving him the job...get a real hones man in there or woman that cares about people.Fuzzee was a great Sheriff... hard to replace him.

you must be puzzled. Please share your facts he and his family is good friends of mine and I talk to him everytime he is in. It's hard to be kicked out after a twenty year career. Now if your refering that he is getting a medical discharge because of his knees being replaced from all those Airplane jumps then Kicked out ain't the right word...So don't try to ruin a man's name who fought for your right to be judgemental.

Whitey is not running for any office after his retirement. He has already been offered and will take a job in the county that pays more than any county seat. And as far as him getting kicked out, you can't get a job like that and a house up Forest Hills with a bad military record.
