The sheriff aloud him to keep working time and time again so that he would have a job and at least be able to care of his family. The sheriff has proved time and time again that he is the man for the job and he will continue to do it through the next election. He helps the people of pike anyway he can. Just like pusser, he should have fired him a long time ago. Pusser is a good guy but not cut out for law enforcement
so we need a sheriff who walks around grinning like the stupid senile old man he has become. times are changing. I know fuzzy is scared of life without being the sheriff. people shouldn't worry about what an old washed up man wants. we need to move forward and get someone younger in there

why was the deputy who pointed guns at kids at east ridge high school never charged with anything? why isn't people talking about the wreck fuzzy was involved in when he pulled out into traffic at yorktown
This is interesting..wonder why this incident wasn't in the "NEWS"? I'm sure the parents of the kids involved would have liked to known about it. If it were another student pointing a gun I bet we would've heard all about it! Very interesting uh? Anyone else hear or know about this occurrence?

lol, I do thank you for the kind words, but the reasons why I left, was because I had better job offers paying more, but they were coal jobs, I wished they would've lasted longer so I wouldn't have to have came back, but as coal is... as far as the "HIGH SHERUFF"is concerned, he kept me as part time so if help was needed, and I was off work, I would help as much as I could, But that doesn't change how I feel about the election, you didn't bad mouth me, but as far as firing me, I wished to GOD IN HEAVEN ABOVE, I never would've came back to that place.

Well I'm glad you expressed your "opinion" about whether or not he was cut out for law enforcement! I think there are a lot of people that would disagree with you on that comment! I bet you probably acted like you were a good friend to him and then to get on a discussion board and bad mouth the guy. Yeah you really somebody special!! Maybe you should've been the one he fired! But guess he needs all the butt kissers he needs uh? One thing I can say about ol Buford is he stands by his word and probably has more training in the law enforcement field than anyone there! He not going to do it or go along with something he knows is wrong to do just for the simple fact that an idiot says for him to do it! He has more integrity and pride about himself and his career than to do that! Maybe if there were more like him the dept wouldn't be in the mess its in!! Sounds to me like there is a lot of jealousy and sabotages that go on there! Yeah I'm sure there are a lot of people breaking the door down to get a job there! That sounds like a dream job to have if you ask me..NOT!!
This is just a thought and MY personal opinion of the matter!

I know this makes you so mad, you are on your last go around. You can no longer use pike county for your personal gain, you will no longer get the free stuff for the favors you do for people, how long has it been since you paid anything?

freedom of speech Melvin, you wont to do anything about it, guess what, the FBI will get you for violating civil rights, I know you don't know anything about that, but just sit back and wait until you get sent home, you are not a cop you are a taxi driver and a ticket fixer for an old man

Well I think it's nice to have an assisted living government, all these really old people in office that need a little help to get around and get through the day. It would be so much more convenient it they would just move into the assisted living housing at Pikeville and we didn't have to go all the way to Phelps to get some of them.
The first county government in the country run from the nursing home, how nice!
Says a whole lot about the county when we can't find a young or muddle aged person for some of these positions. Pike County, the only place I know where you job comes with a generational guarantee and you are allowed to die in office.

Rodney Scott is running against Fuzzy, he is now the jailer and would make a great sheriff. Fussy get the votes because the younger generation does not vote.
Physical Fitness Test

Richmond, KY

#410 Feb 8, 2014
The candidate for sheriff should have to take physical fitness test. Should be able to do two pushups, one pull up and walk up one flight of stairs unassisted. Should also be able to drive from one end of the county to the other unassisted by themselves. Should be able to dial long distance without getting winded and not be weaker than a pop corn fart after walking from the car to the court house.

Anyone but Fuzzy, he's been sheriff since God was a baby. How is the crime and drug problem in Pike County now? Keeps getting worse. Time for a change.

I think it's a shame that our current sheriff deputies will put pictures on Fuzzy's campaign facebook page of them taking up money for some kids with illnesses and disabilities in the area just for political gain. Was they out doing it before all this election stuff started...NO......That tells me it's time for a change..GOD will punish a person like that.. It's just plain Pitiful. Don't get me wrong those babies need our communitty's help. But doing it for Political gain is Heartless.
