So you have no data. I really didn't expect you would (even though times of higher and lower tax rates are easy to come by).

Why I Really Hope Republicans Try to Impeach President Obama

Essentially since President Obama was elected, Republicans have been trying to find a way to get him kicked out of office. At first he wasn’t a “real American.” That nonsense mostly faded a few years back. Though sadly, many Republicans still doubt that he’s an actual American citizen.

But mostly it’s been talk of impeachment. I’ve honestly forgotten more reasons conservatives have given as to why he should be impeached than I can even remember.

Though I don’t think a day goes by where I don’t see some conservative, on some source of media, suggest that impeachment is either an option or what they believe should happen.

And I’m at a point now to where I say bring it on. Stop talking about it and actually go through with it. If he’s been so “tyrannical and unconstitutional,” then what the hell are they waiting for?

Oh, I know, the midterm elections.

See, according to a recent poll, the vast majority of Americans don’t believe President Obama should be impeached.

Republicans are worried that by going through with impeachment proceedings, it’s going to turn off independent voters and hurt them during this year’s midterm elections.

It’s something Jon Stewart recently mocked, saying,“That’s how you know all this talk of tyranny is bullsh*t. When your main concern when you’re deposing a tyrant is how it will affect your party’s chances in the upcoming midterm elections, that’s not tyranny.”

But I really do hope that they try to impeach him for two main reasons:
It’s going to make them look ridiculous because most Americans don’t support it.

It’s not going to accomplish anything because even if he is impeached, he won’t be convicted in the Senate. So Republicans will just look like a bunch of fools playing partisan politics with the taxpayers money to pander to their tea party voters.

Then there’s the added bonus of pointing out how pathetic Republicans behave whenever they don’t control the White House considering this would be the second straight Democratic president that they impeached – even though the vast majority of Americans opposed impeachment.

It’s why I always laugh when I hear Republicans say they’re “listening to the American people.” Please.

Yes, please try and impeach him.

To answer your question... Emily's List. Grimes biggest supporter.

Here's their mission statement.

“…EMILY’s List isn’t just about funding elections to get women elected. Our focus is on putting the right pro-choice Democratic women into office who will balance the face of the government, and make decisions that really improve societies across the country…”

Here proves their money is going to Grimes. Over 200 hundred grand.

And at number 4 on the industries list is women's issues which is cd for planned parenthood, also know as MURDER INCORPORATED.

Republicans Floating Impeachment Is Helping Democrats Raise Money

Republicans are blaming Democrats for keeping the idea of impeaching President Obama alive, and yet they are the ones who instigated it and keep talking about it. But this insanity is only helping Democrats raise money.
The tactic has brought big dollars into Democrats’ coffers, and it has kept Republican aides and lawmakers busy as they keep swatting down the idea whenever it sprouts up.
“No, no, no, no,” National Republican Congressional Committee Chairman Greg Walden (Ore.) said emphatically when asked about the possibility of impeachment hearings or proceedings in the House against Obama.“Democrats are the ones talking about it, and they’re trying to fundraise off it.”
Rep. Devin Nunes, a California Republican close to Boehner and incoming Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.), said there are “very few” Republicans who want to “move to impeachment.”
But it’s the ever-growing crazy wing of the Republican Party that broached this in the first place, and the GOP should own its own responsibility for the “i” word rearing its ugly head.

Proposed GOP Lawsuit Against Obama Backfires, Helps Democrats Raise Millions

WASHINGTON -- The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee raised $1 million in a single day on Monday, chairman Rep. Steve Israel (D-N.Y.) said. The fundraising juggernaut was driven by Democratic opposition to a lawsuit House Republicans intend to file against President Barack Obama related to the enforcement of certain Obamacare provisions.

"Since the announcement of the lawsuit, we've raised more than $7.6 million," Israel said at a breakfast hosted by the Christian Science Monitor. The committee has received more than 160,000 donations, Israel said, and the average donation amount is $19.

As long as the specter of impeachment hangs over the Capitol, Democrats probably will continue to capitalize on the widespread public opposition to impeachment.

Former Ohio governor tries to live on minimum wage for a week...doesn't make it.
(HuffPo) Ted Strickland tried to live on the minimum wage for a week, and it didn't go so well.

"I didn’t make it," the former Democratic governor of Ohio wrote in Politico Magazine.

For his "Live The Wage" challenge Strickland allotted himself $77 for food, transportation and other basics. The amount is supposed to be what's left over after housing and taxes for somebody who earns the federal minimum wage of $7.25 per hour, or $290 for a 40-hour workweek.

Strickland tried to keep his expenses down but said he'd run out of cash by Thursday.

Too bad they can't make all of the repukes in CONgress do it.

You're forgetting Ky. is a democratic state. McConnell throughout his political career in this state has proven time and time again he's really an old school conservative democrat.

The people in this state know full well what having the Senate Majority leader from their state means. We're talking billions of dollars with the potential of landing here. Grimes would be a junior senator from a state with 6 electoral votes. ZERO INFLUENCE... Just a rubber stamp vote for the liberal morons..

The voters in this state have proven twice by voting against Obama and last time around their liberal darling Conway they're not stupid.

Dirty Republicans Drag Out Long-DEBUNKED Lies in Boehner’s Quest to Sue President Obama

In an op-ed for USA Today’s weekend edition, John Boehner demonstrated the vitriolic hatred he and his fellow Republicans harbor for President Obama as he attempted to justify his frivolous lawsuit against him with half truths.

Boehner begins:

“I believe the president’s actions in a number of areas — including job-destroying energy regulations, releasing the “Taliban 5″ from Guantanamo without notice and waiving the work requirements in welfare — exceed his constitutional authority.”

Of course there is no abuse of powers in employing the Clean Air Act and it cannot be cited as an un-constitutional abuse of power. The Supreme Court has ruled that it is within the President’s authority to use it to address climate change and prisoner exchanges require no Congressional or Judicial approval, therefore negating that charge.

That would bring us to the most egregious lie, one with racial undertones — the assertion that the President has “gutted” the work requirements established in a bipartisan effort under President Bill Clinton, the same lie unsuccessfully employed by Mitt Romney in his 2012 bid for the White House.

Like Romney before him, Boehner is guilty of taking an innocuous agreement made between the President and a bipartisan group of governors who requested some leeway in applying the work requirements for welfare.

The President agreed to allow the governors the latitude they had requested as long as the work requirement was not weakened. This can not be construed as waiving the work requirement by any stretch of the imagination and if the Speaker does not know that, he is not qualified to hold his office.

When Mitt Romney began running his false ad, Politifact rated it Pants on Fire saying:

“Romney’s ad says,‘Under Obama’s plan (for welfare), you wouldn’t have to work and wouldn’t have to train for a job. They just send you your welfare check.’

That’s a drastic distortion of the planned changes to Temporary Assistance to Needy Families. By granting waivers to states, the Obama administration is seeking to make welfare-to-work efforts more successful, not end them. What’s more, the waivers would apply to individually evaluated pilot programs — HHS is not proposing a blanket, national change to welfare law.

The ad tries to connect the dots to reach this zinger:‘They just send you your welfare check.’ The HHS memo in no way advocates that practice. In fact, it says the new policy is ‘designed to improve employment outcomes for needy families.’

The ad’s claim is not accurate, and it inflames old resentments about able-bodied adults sitting around collecting public assistance. Pants on Fire!”

If the Speaker wants to go after the President for “abuses of power” he had better keep looking for more examples because as yet he has not presented any.
