The last time our country had a balanced budget was 50 or more years ago. Was Slick Willy president then? Clinton borrowed heavily from the SS program. He put those dollars in another column and claimed the budget was balanced and then claimed there was a surplus. And you people drank that kool-aid like there would never be a tomorrow. Many of you still claim that is true. It's mind blowing how you so easily repeat "facts" that someone told you were actually facts but you never bother to research the crap you repeat. Typical dimocrat behavior. Pete and repeat and judgeits. lmao
Reagan was the first President ever to borrow money from SS fund. It still had him showing a 186% US debt increase at the end of his two terms. The numbers can be moved around but the fact still remains on paper the budget was in balance with a surplus at the end of Clinton's 8 years.

They will always be in denial. We are suffering 8 years of bush/cheney/rumsfield policies and they deny all they want, President Clinton had left them a surplus, not the deficit that they left President Obama. That's okay though, they won't win an election anytime soon and Hillary/Bill will bring America back to where it once was. They will just have to suck it up. You can tell they are foxbox brainwashed idiots along with all their fright right winged nut daily, CONservative NUTtree Drama and their favorite jihad sites. Poor loser lemming tools.

Why Is Fox Paying Fired Executive $8 Million In Hush Money?
Why would Fox News pay $8 million in severance to a guy who was allegedly fired for “financial irregularities” and “multiple, material and significant breaches” of contract? According to Gawker, it was to keep him from talking.
It began when Fox News escorted Roger Ailes’ aide out of the building.
What dirt did the aide have, and was it on Roger Ailes or Fox News itself?
So while Lewis may not have had “seriously damaging information” about Ailes,” clearly he had something Ailes didn’t want divulged. Sadly, we will probably never know what.
On the other hand, maybe Lewis had already revealed the worst of it to Sherman before getting fired.
I guess we’ll just have to wait and see what’s in Sherman’s book.

Yes, because thinking of your fellow citizens rather than just yourself, being more concerned about people's lives than gun rights, wanting to keep religion out of government, and believing EVERYONE should be equal is just so DISEASED, right?

Liberalism, above all, means emancipation- emancipation from ones fears, his inadequacies, from prejudice, from discrimination, from poverty- Hubert H Humphrey

Long Plane Ride Forces Tea Party Senator To Hear The Truth About Obamacare

Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) received “an earful” from Democrats about the Affordable Care Act (ACA) on the flight to South Africa for Nelson Mandela’s funeral. Ted Cruz was one of only two Republicans from Congress to go.

According to the Baltimore Sun, Congressman Elijah Cummings (D-MD) said,“He got an earful from many of us — I mean it was a very good conversation, nothing negative. I just reminded him that I’m concerned about the many people in my state and his state who have no health insurance.”

Ted Cruz’ entire career is about getting rid of the ACA.

Ted Cruz is well known as either a strong conservative leader, a troublemaker, or just an idiot, depending on who’s doing the talking.

For months though, he’s been all about repealing the ACA. He’s spent the last many months telling everybody how terrible the ACA is, how bad for the economy, how it kills jobs, and how most Americans want it gone.

Ted Cruz trumpets the same info, over and over, even though it’s not true.

Most of what he’s said, though, isn’t true. In fact, all of this is beating a dead horse. It’s the mantra he’s been repeating for months on end, hoping that saying it enough will make it true.

First of all, the November jobs report doesn’t bear out the “job-killer” refrain. 203,000 jobs were added in November, which was better than expected. The ACA is, in fact, helping to create jobs, not kill them. Disney World went ahead and made over 400 of their part-time employees full-time as a result of the ACA. They actually said they wanted to be proactive, and make more of their employees qualify for health insurance coverage.

Business groups and conservatives know that people have very short memories, and if the cry about the damage the ACA is doing loudly enough, people will “learn” to blame the ACA, instead of remembering that all of this is nothing new. Those businesses that are saying they’ll have to lay people off or cut hours because of the ACA are using it as their latest excuse.

As for people losing their insurance; that is happening, but not for the reasons Ted Cruz would like people to believe. The insurance companies are canceling policies that covered almost nothing, which is why they were so cheap. They’re also playing on people’s ignorance of the ins and outs of the ACA. When they cancel these policies, they present options for policies that are a lot more expensive. They don’t tell people they have options, and can qualify for subsidies that might bring their share of premiums way down. Instead, they’re saying that if you don’t sign up for their new plan by a certain date, they will lose every bit of their coverage.

Some insurers have already gotten in trouble for doing this.

Premiums are going up, and will sadly keep going up as costs go up. That’s part of a deeper problem that the ACA doesn’t even touch. However, ACA premiums are lower than expected in many places. Ted Cruz also has a bad habit of ignoring the effect of the subsidies on out-of-pocket premiums. He likes to ignore the fact that the ACA requires insurers to spend at least 80% of the premiums they bring in on medical costs. That keeps them from raising premiums solely for paying obscene bonuses and unnecessary administrative costs. They won’t fleece their customers nearly as badly if they’ll just have to refund the extra money.

But someone needs to tell Ted Cruz that saying the same thing over and over doesn’t make it come true.

The dumbass Canadian crazed cruz will keep beating that drum until election and by then it will be a success and people won't forget him and his teabagger buddies shutting down the gov't, wasting taxpayer dollars with his green eggs and ham filibuster, or campaigning for President since he got elected. He has done nothing. bye, bye

Liberals want to stop men from checking out women

...

It’s already started. There was the Massachusetts secretary who sued her boss for staring at her breasts. There was the social media uproar when two tech conference presenters in San Francisco made a joke presentation for an app based on men’s desire to stare at breasts.

This is what the progressives exist to do. They take away our activities. If it’s an activity and it’s kind of fun or pleasurable, the progressives are going to take it away.

Hey Calvin, did you see this..

A peak performance by Geminid meteor shower: See it live or online

One of the best meteor showers of the year is set to put on a performance Friday night, but if you can't catch the cosmic display in person, you can watch it live online.

The Geminid meteor shower — named for the constellation Gemini — is peaking late tonight into Saturday morning, potentially treating stargazers in light-free areas to about 90 to 120 meteors per hour. Observers can expect to get the best views of the shower, weather permitting, at around 4 a.m. local time in the wee hours of Saturday morning after the waxing moon sets, according to Bill Cooke, head of NASA's Meteoroid Environment Office.

"This year, there will be a magic hour starting at about 4 a.m. up until dawn that there will be no moon and you'll be able to see the Geminids in their full glory," Cooke told reporters on Dec. 11. Space fans everywhere can catch the meteor show live online through two webcasts from the online Slooh Space Camera and NASA. You can watch both NASA and Slooh's live webcasts on Space.com .[See Photos of the 2012 Geminid Meteor Shower]

NASA is hosting a web chat about the meteor shower beginning at 11 p.m. EST. Cooke and two of his team members — Danielle Moser and Rhiannon Blaauw — will answer questions from the public about the Geminids during the "up all night" webcast. The chat is expected to run until 3 a.m. EST and can be seen here.

The )8~D> batshit crazy LISA loon, her Wimpy Teabagger F'k, sissy jboy, and her goat can see it live since they have their little love fest til the wee hours. haha I will probably have to watch a delayed video. I might set my alarm and look. It's raining now, changing to snow, so I don't know if it is visible from here.
