You are correct, with each new gerrymandering map they redistrict it is evident. They will continue to hate him, like the President. They can't see past the skin color, it is bred in them. Can't wait to see how they lose their minds after our President speaks at his memorial tomorrow. I bet it will be profound.
Great post btw. Keep them coming.

Republicans Might Learn How to Talk to Women But They Don’t Care What They Think

"We control 30 governorships, we control 26 state houses and senates chambers. You know, we, in fact, know how to speak to women on their policy issues."…

Look at Fox News host Anna Kooiman being told by Phillys Schalfly’s niece, Suzanne Venker, to essentially reject the modern world and go back in time to the 50s, where she is unemployed, pregnant, and “thanking men” for making her that way.

Venker (who says women still need husbands because “you can’t take your paycheck to bed with you”),told Kooiman, Tucker Carlson, Kooiman’s co-host, apparently thinks Kooiman should go home and hop in a bed with a man to make some babies and let him get on with the show:“I’m confused why this controversial.”

That is how Republicans talk to women.

Terry O’Neill, president of the National Organization for Women, on the other hand complained in October,“Women are not fooled by the hide-and-sneak tactics of John Kasich and his pals who want to push us back to the 1950s. Make no mistake, the politicians who keep waging this outrageous war on women will pay a price at the polls next year.”

....still be singing the same tired old tune in 2016 when women again vote overwhelmingly Democratic and the GOP refuses to learn from yet another rejection that the problem is not the media but their own antiquarian attitudes.

Sarah Palin Disgraces History With Claim Adams and Jefferson Support Her War on Christmas

If there is one distinguishing feature unique to conservatives, it is their predilection for war.

They will declare war on anything, seemingly for
sport, but primarily to advance their sick agendas whether it is war against Muslims, women, the poor, gays, or equality; they just love war. It is interesting then, that conservatives of the Christian persuasion claim there is a war on their religious liberty when they are prohibited from forcing compliance to their religious dogmata on the entire population, and then there is their annual outrage that they are victims of the “war on Christmas.” Of course, the aggressors, according to conservative Christians, in the war on Christmas are the dreaded atheists who, interestingly, enjoy the winter “holiday” season as much as the next American, but resent the fact that any sector of government uses their tax dollars to promote the religious aspect of the uniquely commercial holiday.

America’s “resident dunce,” half-term governor, and failed vice presidential candidate has taken advantage of the non-existent “war on Christmas” to speak to like-minded conservative Christians to sell her latest screed against President Obama and all-things secular proving once again why she has the “well-established-reputation as a world-class idiot.” One hesitates commenting on the absurdity that is Sarah Palin, but her latest contention that Founding Fathers John Adams and Thomas Jefferson would join her in the war against the imagined war on Christmas is too much of an affront to American history, facts, and reason to bear; especially for a secular humanist.

The real story is that Palin is a charlatan, an imbecile, and an opportunist with no more knowledge of the “Christ” in Christmas than the Founding Fathers she attempted to channel to sell her pathetic book. Her assault and false account of the Founding Fathers’ intent in writing the Constitution is as offensive as her assault on atheists’ desire to abort Christ from Christmas or wage a war on Christmas. Sarah Palin is a parasite on America and this secular humanist has had just about as much of her bloodsucking pandering to pad her bank account as one person can take.

Obviously, the Liberty University audience has not had enough of Palin because there were no reports of even one “higher education” student standing up and telling Palin that her lack of knowledge of the Christ in Christmas, or the Founding Fathers, informed that the only war this holiday season is her assault on intelligence of which she has none.

GOP Congressman Wants NRCC to Cut Off Funding for Gay Candidates

Virginia Republican House Representative Randy Forbes is trying to pressure the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) not to fund gay Republican congressional candidates.

Politico reports that Forbes is waging a long and vigorous effort to persuade the NRCC not to lend financial support to a couple of gay candidates in competitive House races. The GOP has two promising candidates in winnable house districts that are gay. Republican Carl DeMaio, a former San Diego city councilman, is hoping to unseat Democrat Scott Peters in California’s 52nd District. Peters defeated Republican Brain Bilbray in 2012, by a narrow 51-49 margin. In Massachusetts, Republican Richard Tisei is hoping to win a rematch against Democratic Congressman John Tierney, who defeated Tisei by a razor thin 48-47 edge in 2012. Both DeMaio and Tisei are gay.

David Gregory and Meet The Press Lie and Claim the ACA Website is Still Broken

David Gregory and NBC News didn’t even acknowledge the surge of Americans signing up for the ACA, while pushing the bogus Republican talking point that the ACA is broken.

Most of the media have moved on from the broken website talking point, but David Gregory is still hanging on and doing his part to help the Republican Party deny 40 million Americans affordable healthcare.

It is a shameful display of unchecked bias from David Gregory, Meet The Press, and NBC News.

Fear, gloom and doom sells more, so why report the truth. There are NO liberal media. It's all a joke with those idiots.

You might be a republiCON if ...
You call the media liberal, so that people forget that the media is owned by corporations with a conservative fiscal agenda

15 things everyone would know if there were a liberal media

Prince Riebus (and apparently many others) still thinks there's a liberal media.

While I share Prince's frustration with the media, as a liberal, I'd like to go on record and state that the media isn't focusing on issues I care about. They seem to be far more focused on entertainment and making money.

Don't believe me?

If the media were "liberal," it would serve the public interest and shine a light on issues like the ones above.

More people would also have a better understanding of global warming, peak oil, population growth, political lobbying, government's role in a functioning economy, how much we spend on the military, and countless other issues.

What you’re more likely to see in the media, however, are stories designed to get you to buy their paper, or watch their show, or listen to their radio station. If it bleeds, it leads. This is why the media is concerned with scandal, celebrities, gossip, and fear.

If anything, our news consists of paid advertisements and outlets too scared of offending anyone to publish much of substance. Investigative journalism is also expensive; entertainment is cheap.

The way this corporate media behaves may not be surprising. I apologize if you feel any of this is beating you over the head.

This Buzzfeed-style list wasn't intended to introduce this idea as new (others have done a much better job), but rather to highlight the sheer absurdity of a "liberal media" for an audience who may not see it.

One way to approach the topic is to simply ask: If we have a "liberal media," where are the liberal stories?

While Wall Street Enjoys Record Profits, a Third of Bank Tellers Rely on Welfare

It has been an eventful week for many workers throughout the country. On Thursday, December 5, 2013, fast food workers walked out in protest in over 100 cities. The protests were over one thing—wages. The federal minimum wage for non-tipped employees is $7.25 an hour, a rate that has not been increased since before the Great Recession. For tipped employees, that wage is only $2.13 an hour, and has not been increased since 1991.

Currently, workers and Democrats alike are fighting for an increase in the minimum wage.

While that number varies, current calls range from $10.10 to $15 an hour.

A recent study found that out of the nearly half-million bank tellers in America, a third of them rely on the public safety net programs, like welfare and medicaid.

Researchers say taxpayers are doling out nearly $900 million a year to supplement the wages of bank tellers, which amounts to a public subsidy for multibillion-dollar banks. The workers collect $105 million in food stamps,$250 million through the earned income tax credit and $534 million by way of Medicaid and the Children’s Health Insurance Program, according to the University of California at Berkeley’s Labor Center.

Last year, they only made $141.3 billion in profit. If that is an unfavorable environment for banks, what would a favorable environment look like? Would an extra $5 an hour per employee really crush the industry that so relies on, not only their customers personal money as well as paying interest rates on loans, but also government subsidies and use of the tax-code? If the banks brought every employee’s hourly wage to at least $15/hr, they likely would not even notice the difference.

Typical multi-billion dollar companies greed ...like Walmart. They won't line the GOP pockets if they vote to raise the minimum wage. THAT is the bottom line. Voters won't forget.
