"Those uninsured Americans who fail to navigate the Obamacare exchanges and purchase health insurance by Jan. 1 will face hefty fines from the Federal government."

As this thing goes into motion, this country is going to look like a pan of worms. The scramble for each and every non-insured person trying to decide what is best for them is going to cost us billions. Doctor's will have to hire more help just to unscramble the mess that goes with individuality and choices. Fees and prices go up in the medical world. There will be so many grey areas that it will take years to even figure it out. And for those who default because of the confusion, a nice big fine right after Christmas.

Oh the fun of Obamablunder!!!

The legend lives on from the Ottomans on down of the big battle they call Vienna. 350 years gone by now and the Muslims are still at it. Is the west still willing to defend itself and what were its Christian principles? The Muslims obviously have a long memory and aren't giving up - do we have a long memory? Seems that our "elites" and media can't even remember 9/11, much less the atrocities being perpetrated by Muslims on a daily basis against Christians. Whatever happens, pray that God's will WILL be done and know that it will. Eternity is a long time to be rewarded for the suffering of today and a long time to be punished for the atrocities of today (pray for those who are the perpetrators).

Funny, I know of no other "religion of peace" in this world that continually has its adherents detonating in public places. The reason, of course, is that Islam is a political CULT, not a religion, and just like socialism, it requires its followers to conform, debase, and degrade themselves before a phony prophet. The real-life Mohammad was a blood-thirty killer. I'll err on the side of caution and avoid them all, and recommend you do too.

BLACK BIKER GANG BEHIND SUV ATTACK IN NYC
Police make arrest after assault caught on tape

Here is what the local newspapers did not report about the mob of dozens of motorcycle riders who chased, stopped and beat the father of a young Asian family on a Sunday afternoon in New York City: One, the mob was black, says the police report. Two, this is merely the latest of several such examples of racial violence on wheels, witnesses say.

Except this one is on video. All six minutes and 27 seconds of it. Recorded on the helmet-cam of one of the members of the black motorcycle mob.

“The newspapers say it was a motorcycle gang,” said one veteran member of New York’s law enforcement community.“That makes you think it was a white gang, like the Hell’s Angels. But it was the total opposite.”

As a motorbiker, I've had road rage against me because I've hooted at people who've cut me off. The driver in the SUV did something and didn't want to stop. I wouldn't be so quick to jump to conclusions, and don't let your heart strings be pulled by the kid and wife in the car, doesn't put the driver in the right. And the riders being black opens the whole fiasco into the usual rant...

kungfusv RichardLW • 7 minutes ago
The antics those (black) bikers engaged in were incendiary at the outset to provoke some sort of incident and the fact that they *panicked* an innocent family out for a celebratory (anniversary) drive, minding their own business, does NOT excuse those bikers for being a bunch of hoodlums! Unfortunate that some of the bikers got injured, but THEY (collectively) instigated this whole incident to begin with! WHY did they have to do such a thing? To intimidate the public? For what purpose? Their own ego and gratification?

What would YOU have done in such a situation with your wife and young kid in the car? Would YOU have stopped to confront the (black) mob? Think about this for more than one nanosecond!

Federal workers can collect unemployment during shutdown
But money comes with a catch

But the money comes with a catch. If Congress decides later to retroactively pay those workers, they would have inadvertently double-dipped into the system and will be asked to return the money.

It's not clear whether furloughed workers will eventually receive paychecks or not, once the shutdown ends. But that's how it played out during the government shutdown in 1995 and 1996, after which, state agencies tried to recoup the overpaid funds.

But 80% of the same Americans said 'do not shut down the GOVERMENT over AHCA'
So....... Republicans went against the majority. If 80% of Americans agreed with republicans, I wouldn't be laughing at you idiots today.
Anything else?
Bahahahahaha
Please post a link to your 80% figure. Most polls I see show a 39%- 36% for not wanting a shutdown.

So it's OK for Obama and his minions to continue to push a law that the majority of Americans don't agree with? Classic narcissism.

Yes, that is why it is called "A LAW" duh.
If you want to repeal a law or any part of it, there are procedures for doing so. You don't hold the government and peoples lives (800,000 workers) hostage because you haven't the votes to get your way.

It doesnt matter if they end up getting reimbursed, collect unemployment or both and have to pay one back (even worse).
They will resent Republicans for putting them through the worry and perhaps embarrassment of having to seek help.
Good luck in 2014, you're going to need it.

This says congress has a 6% approval rating.... But considering the site it comes from, I'd say the real number is closer to 3 or 4%.

Patriot my ass!!

This describes republicans in Congress.

The majority of the country agrees with me, a REAL Patriot!!

A REAL Patriot puts our country first, not political ideology.

No one republican here is a patriot. The democrats here are the true Patriots and care about our country.

We don't hold our country hostage like a spoiled kid to get our way.

You stupid republicans here are the 6% who agree with those idiots..... Which, in turn, makes you all idiots as well.

So out of touch with the rest of the country.

But please don't stop posting on these boards. As we all point out how ignorant you all are, that makes more people separate themselves from the GOP.

Seems to be working....... 6% approval rating, 80% disagree with holding our country hostage.

We can all see why WE are real Patriots, not some fake, Internet wannabe made up patriot.

Thank You ALL for 2014 and 2016.
