Can give us every detail of a military officers affair and resignation but 4 months later still won't tell citizens what happened in Benghazi.
Can tell citizens what guns they can or can not own but cite Executive Privilege and invoke silence when asked about the murder of Brian Terry with White House loaned guns.

Signs of a society gone mad and a government that cannot protect the people,
Wisconsin sheriff urges residents to arm themselves
A sheriff who released a radio ad urging Milwaukee-area residents to learn to handle firearms so they can defend themselves while waiting for police said Friday that law enforcement cutbacks have changed the way police can respond to crime.
In the 30-second commercial, Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke Jr. says personal safety is no longer a spectator sport.
"I need you in the game," he says.
"With officers laid off and furloughed, simply calling 911 and waiting is no longer your best option," he adds. "You can beg for mercy from a violent criminal, hide under the bed, or you can fight back.... Consider taking a certified safety course in handling a firearm so you can defend yourself until we get there."

WAKE UP AND SMELL THE COFFEE!
Restrictions on personal liberty, on the right of free expression of opinion, including freedom of the press; on the rights of assembly and associations; and violations of the privacy of postal, telegraphic, and telephonic communications and warrants for house searches, orders for confiscations as well as restrictions of property, are also permissible beyond the legal limits otherwise prescribed.,
The tone is familiar. Is it Clintons Anti-Terrorism Act of 1996?
Is it the Bush Patriot Act of 2001?
No. It is from Hitlers 1933 speech calling for an Enabling Act for the protection of the People and the State after the catastrophic Reichstag fire that the Nazis had secretly lit.
Bush challenges hundreds of laws / President cites powers of his office

WASHINGTON -- President Bush has quietly claimed the authority to disobey more than 750 laws enacted since he took office, asserting that he has the power to set aside any statute passed by Congress when it conflicts with his interpretation of the Constitution.
Among the laws Bush said he can ignore are military rules and regulations, affirmative-action provisions, requirements that Congress be told about immigration services problems,''whistle-blower " protections for nuclear regulatory officials, and safeguards against political interference in federally funded research.

For the most part Ari, Both parties are one and the same!
Why We Fight
We must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military-industrial complex. Today the real test of power is not capacity to make war but capacity to prevent it. The guns and the bombs, the rockets and the warships, are all symbols of human failure. History teaches that war begins when governments believe the price of aggression is cheap.

Dumbya Bush had a Republican Congress until 2006 and did not overturn Roe vs Wade.
Then Dumbya Bush picked two rightwing Justices Alito and Roberts who have the votes to overturn Roe vs Wade and DID NOT DO IT.
So what do YOU glean from these truthful facts?
BTW: The Republican Congress was from 1994-2006.

Terrorism is a tactic and not a war.
Bush and now Obama cannot have dictoral power for Perpetual Wars.
Of course, the ominous signs in 2001 were realized in a myriad of other ways, from the establishment of the first American torture program to the widespread use of targeted assassinations, including operations killing American citizens. Ironically, I wrote then of the possibility of a new law that could govern the use of assassination, one that would deny a president unilateral authority to kill individuals and would reduce the need to invoke war powers. Instead, the Bush administration claimed full wartime authority as well as radically expanding the use of assassination as an unchecked presidential power. The claim of unilateral presidential authority to kill even United States citizens has been embraced by Obama.
What ultimately fell on that terrible day proved to be some of our most important constitutional structures. Tragically, it is a degree of damage that cannot be claimed by Al Qaeda alone.

1948 Smith-Mundt Act The 1948 Smith-Mundt Act prohibited the domestic dissemination of United States government propaganda. The reasoning behind Smith-Mundt was that Congress wanted to be certain that a United States government agency could not brainwash our own citizens as Hitler had done in Germany.
Behind TV Analysts, Pentagons Hidden Hand

In the summer of 2005, the Bush administration confronted a fresh wave of criticism over Guantánamo Bay. The detention center had just been branded the gulag of our times by Amnesty International, there were new allegations of abuse from United Nations human rights experts and calls were mounting for its closure.
Records and interviews show how the Bush administration has used its control over access and information in an effort to transform the analysts into a kind of media Trojan horse an instrument intended to shape terrorism coverage from inside the major TV and radio networks.
Pentagons Pundits: A Look at the Defense Departments Propaganda Program / April 22, 2008 / http://tinyurl.com/64ln28
The New York Times has revealed new details on how the Pentagon recruited more than 75 retired military officers to appear on TV outlets as so-called military analysts ahead of the Iraq war to portray Iraq as an urgent threat. The Times reported the Pentagon continues to use the analysts in a propaganda campaign to generate favorable news coverage of the administrations wartime performance. We speak with Col. Sam Gardiner (Ret.) and Peter Hart, of Fairness and Accuracy in Reporting.

2003 torture memo released by Pentagon
Justice Department document said Bush could ignore torture bans
April. 1, 2008 / http://tinyurl.com/3azdkv
WASHINGTON - The Pentagon on Tuesday released a now-defunct legal memo that approved the use of harsh interrogation techniques against terrorism suspects, saying that President Bush's authority during wartime trumps any international ban on torture.
The Justice Department memo, dated March 14, 2003, outlines legal justification for military interrogators to use harsh tactics against al-Qaida and Taliban detainees overseas so long as they did not specifically intend to torture their captors.
Even so, the memo noted, the president's wartime power as commander in chief would not be limited by the U.N. treaties against torture.

That gun ban bill has been in the works for at least for 4 years, and was going to happen no matter what. This was the most opportunity time to strike .America is headed toward a holocaust of our own. Femma Camps and coffins already waiting.
When we start seeing our families go hungry because we have no jobs, no homes and no way to fight back there will a civil war where we will be massacred in the streets. The government knows this and is getting prepared for a fight and they will have the weapons to do it. We will have sticks and rocks.

What gun ban bill? Just because there's a bill doesn't mean that it will ever get passed also to believe that the govt. will ban all guns is just not plausable. They may try to ban "Assult rifles" for no good reason but that's a long shot. Where are you getting your news?

A Spy Speaks Out
Former Top CIA Official Tyler Drumheller On "Faulty" Intelligence Claims /
http://tinyurl.com/rle4x / April 23, 2006
"The policy was set. The war in Iraq was coming and they were looking for intelligence to fit into the policy."
Tyler Drumheller CIA Ret.
(CBS) When no weapons of mass destruction surfaced in Iraq, President Bush insisted that all those WMD claims before the war were the result of faulty intelligence. But a former top CIA official, Tyler Drumheller a 26-year veteran of the agency has decided to do something CIA officials at his level almost never do: Speak out.
He tells correspondent Ed Bradley the real failure was not in the intelligence community but in the White House. He says he saw how the Bush administration, time and again, welcomed intelligence that fit the president's determination to go to war and turned a blind eye to intelligence that did not.
Ex-CIA Official Paul Pillar Faults Use of Data on Iraq
Intelligence 'Misused' to Justify War, He Says
February 10, 2006 / http://tinyurl.com/azl6w
The former CIA official who coordinated U.S. intelligence on the Middle East until last year has accused the Bush administration of "cherry-picking" intelligence on Iraq to justify a decision it had already reached to go to war, and of ignoring warnings that the country could easily fall into violence and chaos after an invasion to overthrow Saddam Hussein.
Paul R Pillar's critique is one of the most severe indictments of White House actions by a former Bush official since Richard C. Clarke, a former National Security Council staff member, went public with his criticism of the administration's handling of the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks and its failure to deal with the terrorist threat beforehand.
It is also the first time that such a senior intelligence officer has so directly and publicly condemned the administration's handling of intelligence.
