I think Rogers and Osborne both need to state where they stand on the school / nickel tax issue that seems to be the talk of Taylor County right now. They need to tell the voters where they stand on this very controversial issue so we can make up our minds.

County judge has nothing to do with school tax.

Eddie did a Radio spot for them back at the last special election. He felt as County Judge executive that he needed to support the children. He was not aware of all the behind the scenes machinations of Roger Cook, Bam Carney, Mark Carney and the Schoolboard. I think in his role as County Judge Executive he had no choice but to support it.

Gary Osborne finally came out against the the tax this summer to a man named William Sullivan that used to own a 400 acre farm on stoner creek. I think he lives in town, now, not sure. Gary has always been against it but had to be pushed very hard to get him to admit it. He has been lying to the Carney's really good. They think he supports the tax and have been doing all sorts of election favors for him. Mr. sullivan says Gary is against the school tax and he is reliable.

Please tell us more about Osborne ruining your church. I am constantly hearing terrible rumors out of CBC, that a select few have attempted to run off most of the older folks...the very people who made that church what it is. Is this true? Is Osborne one of them?

Eddie is a buffoon. He won't stand up to the hospital board so we will continue to pay them thier extortion. He started the payroll taxes as the previous poster said. And since when has religion entered into U.S. politics? Your Messiah Obammy is about as far from any church as you can get but he still uses it to get his votes. I would vote for my dog before Rogers.

McGruff your back, On this one thing I have to disagree Paul Patton is the cause of why we paid so much for the land where the jail is. Craig Cox negotiated the deal for the land, where the jail is. Eddie inherited the deficit. He is much more accessable that Paul Patton ever was and awhole lot friendlier and I would have much preferred the jail have been built out on the by-pass where land was already bought and paid for. I know Gary Osborne and I know he will say anything to get your vote and I know he is 100 percent for the school tax. He is thick as thieves with Mark Bam Carney, and Roger Crooke. They made phone calls on his behalf during the primary.

Eddie did do a Radio spot for the first levy as a leader in this community, I don't think he had a choice in the matter and it he like everyone else was told it was for the children. We all know now it it not for the children it is for the sports, and the accolades.

Gary Osborne is for the nickel tax. If you are against it don't vote for Gary Osborne. Gary Osborne, Mark Carney, Bam Carney and Roger Cook are the 4 Musketeers of the nickel tax.

Yes Eddie is more accessable but every time I have talked to him all I got was Obama promises. As far as the land the Jail had to be built in the city to comply with state restrictions concerning the justice center. No jail in town = no justice center. Eddie bought the land on the bypass from his cronies under his watch. I would rather see the jail there also but Paul had to deal with the state, so there is a lot more there than meets the eye. Eddie and his cronies initiated the occupational tax, bought the land that couldn't be used and now is trying to reap the benefits of a jail that Patton was basically forced to build. Everyone was on his case because they were still collecting Eddie's extortion and no jail.

Show me. This is not factual. The jail DID not have to be in town.

There are NO benefits to the jail. Smoke and mirrors, folks, smoke and mirrors.

Cannot find anything that says that it has to be close to the court house. Springfield just built a court house down town, their jail is not close. Greensburg just built a court house down town, no jail at all.
Show me where it says this and I shall believe. Untel then, it sounds like b.s. to me.

Administrative Office of the Courts is building a courthouse in every county. It is the legacy of the former head of the Kentucky supreme court.
Jails are run by an entirely different branch of the government.
I doubt what you said was true. They were going to build a judicial center didn't matter where the jail was. OUR powers in OUR county wanted them together.

The Judicial Center is sitting exactly where it is because of a Bertram. The Jail is sitting where it is because of a Bertram. It is not just happenstance that they bought the old post office. Sheldon Jeffries would not deal with Paul Patton, so Craig Cox made the deal for the Million dollars which put our county in a deficit situation. The Bertram Miller and Cox Gang have been suckling at the public tit for nearly a hundred years or more if you go back to Barry's Dad. So Look No further than the old post office if you want to know who pulling the strings and who's hand is in the purse. Thank a Miller for the style of the Judicial Center, oh and of course that Betty Jane Gorin Smith, she must have topped it off with the big golden heat seeking moisture missle on top. I'm voting for Eddie Rogers, I like him. He can't help what Paul Patton and a Bertram and a Cox did. I know for a fact the jail could have been built in the county.

That is realy old news and it happened before Eddie beat Paul Patton the last time and it was over one campaign contribution. If you want to blame anybody for the state of the occupational tax look no further than Paul Patton. I am not going to vote for Gary Osborne he thinks his shitt don't stink. Eddie is a regular guy and you can always go in ask any question you want.

Gary Osborne offered a job to a neighbor woman of mine. I thought that was illegal. I also thought he was above that. I heard he is going to replace Melissa and Sherri. I always thought Melissa got her job the wrong way anyway but still he shouldn't be promising jobs to get elected.
