I am very aware of how the law reads I have done repo work before but I will not ever do it again. It is a very risky job. This is not the first repo guy to be shot and I doubt he will be the last. I hate this happened but Tolar was well within his rights.
Risky work, huh? Why? Because of trigger happy nuts, perhaps?

Yes a lot of nuts but you must understand going to someones home with a smart mouth is dangerous. Going to the wrong house with a smart mouth is asking for trouble. Do you just let anyone come to your house and tell you they are going to take your stuff? What are you going to do? Just stand there and let them? If the bank made a mistake with your money and shorted you can you walk in the vault and take what you think they owe you? Let's see you try not getting shot. What if it was your mistake?

Anyone not willing to protect your property please post your address let's see how long you have your stuff. Better yet please put a sign in your yard.

Call me crazy, but I thought the only legitimate reason for shooting another human being was if you have strong reason to believe your life is in danger from that human. And I know appearances can be deceiving, but he (Tolar) is sure one mean looking dude. What relation is he to our sheriff?
Or to protect your property. The Castle Law.

Posters keep talking about "Castle Law". Sounds pretty medieval. What is the current written law in Mississippi? Just curious.

Ok for all of y'all who don't know the truth behind it all the repo man didn't just stand there and them argue Jackie told him they needed to unhook the truck and the repo guy started being a smarts$$ and Jackie had the gun even with the gun the repo man came toward Jackie like he was fixin to do somethin and Jackie really did shoot because he felt unsafe but I would too because only an insane person would try and come at someone with a gun in their hand!! And everything that the repo man said on the news was a lie like seriously did y'all not hear that the sheriffs report said that the truck was hitched up and in the interview they said they hadn't touched it... So come on think a little an stop talking bad about a wonderful father, grandfather, and friend to anybody that truly knows him!! He's a great guy so stop judging him cause you would have done the same!!!
