NOT SO OA.....These are not tax deductions,,,duh---they are expenses. Expenses are not subsidized by the gov. they are subtracted from the total money made by a business and then the tax codes are applied. Don't try and spin it around, the only people that believe you are like SSS. Yes they are privatized.
I know I run a business.
They aren't tax deductions ? So...businesses doesn't deduct them from profits for tax purposes ? "They are SUBTRACTED" isn't that deducted ????? Need a dictionary ????? BTW you are confused in more ways than one this morning I'm not OA.

Some of the teachers and others in my County that have a full time job have to work at Wally World just so they can pay for health insurance.
I try to shop at other stores in my County first, then shop at Wally World second. But every other weekend we travel to the closest Publix/Costco.
I'm able to do this but I know other's are not.

You're full of it, too!! You can play word games all you want to, but the truth is that none of those "expenses" cost nearly as much as you pay for them because the Gov't. reimburses you for a large part of what you spent on those "expenses" by not having you pay as much Income Tax to "it" (the Gov't.), as you would pay to "it" (the Gov't.), without them!
You People can tell that BS to People that don't know any better and they MAY believe it, but I know different and so does OT!
And if you aren't deliberately lying, then you don't have a clue about taxes, or why you pay what you do, nor how much you would be paying , without those expenses, which would be A LOT more than what you actually pay!
You get the tax deduction for buying that "expense" and the Entity you bought it from , pays taxes on the amount you spent to buy whatever "expense" you bought, because it was "income" for the Entity that you bought it from! Duh!
An 8th Grader could understand that, but apparently, you TEA Baggers can't! Stupid!!

<quoted text> I will answer this way....I agree...with some reservations.
I believe subsidies CAN be a tool to influence behavior, for instance I think the code should reward companies that manufacture things here in the USA and punish those who outsource jobs to cheap foreign labor markets.....BUT and it's a BIG but, allowing our representatives to provide tax incentives to some companies opens the door to the undue influence used by lobbyists to obtain code changes for campaign cash.
This is a complex issue, one that illustrates the power given to, and importance of choosing wisely who we hire as our representatives.
Look at GE ,,,Obama's big buddy and outsources the most jobs in the US. You hypocrite

You not only want to modify behavior for businesses but also the people. If they don't think like you, they need to be influenced. socialist liberal

<quoted text>Linda a few days ago I posted about a book called "Lawrence in Arabia", and stated that he suffered from P.T.S.D. and turning down the King and Queen of England when offered Knighthood.
I did not get into some of the reasons for his P.T.S.D., one of them being caught by a Turk as he was doing some recon at a railroad junction, and then being turned over to a Sultan to be raped until the Sultan thought he was dead. So he was left for dead and escaped.
Our Military Members go through enough, without being preyed on by the ones in their own Ranks. It HAS to STOP!
Being raped by the Enemy is bad enough, but to be raped, or sexually assaulted, by one of your own is the most horrible thing that I can imagine!
I'm surprised there's not more murders in the Military than there are, with that kind of thing going on, frankly!

Secondly I used Wal-Mart because they are now the NATION"S LARGEST EMPLOYER. If they are driven out of business because they are forced to shoulder more of the costs of employee healthcare, you will not find me lamenting their demise. You could place what money I spend with them in your eye and never blink.
When you have been in business as long as I have, you can lecture me on what you have learned, and 5 years or 6....or is it 7 doesn't cut it for me.
Then you don't care about the people they employee. Again, a hypocrite, A caring person but willing to see Walmart close its doors because of Ideology..

I try not to engage in name calling, especially on an anonymous internet forum. It's telling that once you run out of standard Republican boilerplate, you resort to calling those who disagree with you things like "Fr.....liberal" !

I think that he's the same Basta*d that sued me, and now Stalks and Harasses me. I can't say his name or he'll sue me again, but this is the kind of sick Monster that he is...and he's got "papers" to prove it...he's "certified"!
Plus, I think that he's the biggest majority of what we call the "Trolls"! They ONLY came on here when he was exposed as being who he is. So, if he's not most of them, he brought them on here to do exactly what they're doing....and judging by their posts, they are just like him!

OT---- OK,,, lets call them by you name for them and cut the BS. You don't want any deductions. SO if my business makes 200,000 per year and the expenses cover about 150,000, you want me to pay taxes on 200,000 not 50,000. What about the people you deduct from their personal taxes... Lets not let them deduct mortgages, etc. either. Don't you think... Gives us Liberals more money to buy votes and gain symphony from the Ordinary JOe. Socialist Liberal

And we disagree. In my opinion, a country which allows it's citizens to go without healthcare when they are sick, food when they are hungry and shelter when they are homeless isn't much of a country at all.
I am constantly fed this "Christian Nation" idea, yet a lot of those same folks are first in line to disavow the lessons of Jesus Christ when it comes to those least among us.

Yeah right! Most of the Churches, and I use the term loosely, won't even contribute to bury the dead, when their Body isn't claimed. The People (donations) and the County pay for it!
And you TEA Baggers won't even feed Poor people and Little Children! So, how about "practicing" what you give Lip Service to, for a change! "Walk the Walk"...instead of just, "Talking the Talk"!
