ROFL! Yeah right! Funny he didn't say that while he was campaigning, it might have helped him get more votes. Any Candidate that would have done that and not mentioned it during the Campaign, isn't smart enough to be President...we had one with that IQ Level in recent times...his Name was George W. Bush. Of course, everybody knows that Cheney was actually the President, again due to the same IQ deficiency of the One who was elected President. This Country couldn't take another Duo like that just 4 years later!

First off, the money is the indidividual's who contributed it - it does not belong to the government...so your illogical argument that the 'TEApublicans' need to keep their hands off it and not invest it in their wealthy friends' companies holds no water whatsoever.
Secondly, the information I'm posting about is cited in the post - it's called the Congressional Budget Office...perhaps you've heard of it?
Yes, I've heard of it...in fact, I've read a synopsis of it. But , you "elaborated " on it quite a bit and put your "spin " on it even more!

And NO, the Social Security Money is NOT the Individual's who "contributed" it! Social Security is set up in such a way that what I paid in went to Pay the Individuals who Retired before me, and mine is paid by the Workers who will retire after me! So no, it is not my money...my money has already been spent before I retired and I didn't begrudge a penny of it being spent that way!

How much of their Salaries are the TEApublicans giving back??? I'm sure, being the "PATRIOTS" that they claim to be, they'll want to outdo Obama, to show their Solidarity with the Working Men and Women of this Great Nation...so how much higher of a percentage are they planning on giving back and when is it going to begin? Obama's began in March, this year.
535 Members of Congress at 20,000 dollars a piece...that's $10,7000,000.00 this year alone. Time for the Members of Congress to put up or get voted out! The choice is theirs!
Of course if they wanted to show-up Obama , the should make it twice that amount and give back $40,000 a piece...they'd never miss it. They can just Up the amount of Bribes they take from their Wealthy Donors for keeping them from paying their Fair Share of Taxes.
Let's wait and see how many of the obstructionist T Partying Republican majority Congress---elected to slash and burn---actually do line up and say I want to refuse the raise, esp. since I pledged G. Norquist and the American people "I WILL DO NOTHING"!

Heck no, let's see if they will only refuse 5% of their raise! LOLOLOLOL

You Sir, would be considered a Pauper by the Super Wealthy that I am referring to and we both know it!

400 People own 87% of the Wealth of this Country, and the number of People, that Wealthy, is rising everyday! Does that put it in perspective for you?
And...they pay a 14% Tax Rate just on the Money that they claim in this Country, not including the money that they have hidden in off-shore Tax Havens which they pay NO Tax on , at all, in either Country...and because of the Tax Loopholes that the TEApublicans will not agree to reform, many of them pay NO Income Tax on their Income and/or Profits that they CLAIM in this Country, either!

Obama is giving back part 5% of his $400,000 in salary in solidarity with federal workers facing furloughs because of budget cuts in the sequestration of federal funds.

Voluntary payments to reduce the public debt can be taken as deductions for charitable contributions, according to the Congressional Research Service.

At the 39.6 percent top federal tax rate — the one Obama insisted on last year – the $20,000 deduction for this returned pay would put $7,920 in tax relief back in his pocket.

If this happens, the government would pay Obama, who would pay the government, which would then pay Obama.

I agree the modern GOP wouldn't allow Reagan to be nominated...however, you, again, are incorrect in blaming the Tea Pary - it is the establisment GOP. Heck, they've nominated two Bushes, Dole, McCain, and Romney...hardly anywhere near as conservative as Reagan.
No, they just don't want to pay for clean air and water, national parks, etc.

You're honestly blaming "the establishment GOP" for electoral losses? Do you honestly believe that a farther right candidate would have done better outside of the primaries?

I wonder how much the government paid to Romney for his millions in "charitable donations" to the Mormon Church.

At a fundraiser last night in San Francisco, President Barack Obama said that the Newtown killer gunned down 20 children using a "fully automatic weapon."

From the official transcript, provided by the White House:

"Now, over the next couple of months, we’ve got a couple of issues: gun control.(Applause.) I just came from Denver, where the issue of gun violence is something that has haunted families for way too long, and it is possible for us to create common-sense gun safety measures that respect the traditions of gun ownership in this country and hunters and sportsmen, but also make sure that we don’t have another 20 children in a classroom gunned down by a semiautomatic weapon -- by a fully automatic weapon in that case, sadly."

According to the prosecutor, Stephen J. Sedensky III, the killer, Adam Lanza, "killed all 26 victims inside Sandy Hook Elementary School with a Bushmaster .223-caliber rifle before taking his own life with a Glock 10 mm handgun. He says Lanza had another loaded handgun with him inside the school as well as three, 30-round magazines for the Bushmaster," ABC previously reported.

Each of the guns used is a semi-automatic weapon, and not one is an automatic weapon.

So either Obama is wrong--or he revealed something last night about the massacre that hasn't yet been known.

Personally I believe he knew exactly what he was saying. He was being intentionally misleading, planting a seed, and all he and his media machine have to do is say he "misspoke".

None, you're trying to use Obama's twisted idea of math here! Tax exemption for charitable donations which have been erected by "government" constitute the "absence" of taxation. consequently, no-one owes anyone anything!

The socialist spin stops here!

Huh, it's Taxpayer Money because that's the only way a Local, State, or Federal Gov't . has of getting money to run the Gov't., is from the Taxpayers. But to look at it as, You contributed to it..is like saying you "contributed" to your ISP Company, but it's still your money! You receive many services for that Tax Money that you "contribute" to the Gov't., which allows you to have the quality of Life that you have in this Nation. If you didn't "contribute" Tax Money to the Gov't., you wouldn't be able to live here because the Country would not be suitable, nor safe in any way, to live in. And I won't ever mention the "convenience" aspect that you couldn't live without!

According to Idaho law, it's punishable by a $1,000 fine for a married man to sing on a public street unless his wife is present.

It's a misdemeanor for a farmer to plant corn in April in Jeffrey Springs County, Wisconsin.

In Conradesfield, Michigan, it's a felony to post election signs for a Democratic candidate except during a fire.

In Tennessee, it's a Class A misdemeanor for a teacher or professor to give a failing grade to the son or daughter of a city alderman.

In Tschikowsky, Tennessee, it's unlawful to view a horse from an airplane.

It's a Class A felony to use any dog as part of a religious ceremony under the Kansas State Constitution.

It's punishable by a $8,000 fine to open a soda can while undressed in Fortfield, Minnesota.
