Good Morning RS. Looks they all pretty well handled each other last night. No change. Pete and Nuh are still nice and act like grown ups. Can't say the same for some of the others.

Maybe your are right, Liberals get attacked more often because they actually do searches of issues that TeaBaggers(not the sex act, but the act of sending teabags to Washington D.C. April 09')throw out there.

But because they say things that are not nice doesn't mean you should do the same. You should just ignore them and they should ignore you. You have your opinions and so do they. They have as much right to say what is on their minds as you do. Maybe you can't see what is going on and you may not be as nasty as some but you do lower yourself to do just what you accuse them of. Dunlapian and Overtaxed used to be nice and make very good comments about what they believed in but now they both have turned to be as bad as some of the others. It is sad that grown people can't get their points across without all the dirt. It would be a very sad world if every human believed the same as all others.
Well, "BC Resident", I have been commenting on this thread almost since it began, and in all of that time, while I have disagreed with many posters, I have NEVER personally attacked them unless they attacked me first. I believe every American is entitled to their own opinion, and that mine carries no more weight than theirs, nor is my vote worth more than their vote is. I will not, however, be called an "idiot" or worse by a poster that can not spell simple words, without calling attention to it. I will not sit on my hands and ignore those who have nothing to contribute but insults and filthy comments. Those who engage in that kind of "debate" confuse courtesy and respect for others with weakness. I have never called a poster a four lettered word, no matter how much they have provoked me to do so....yet you singled out myself and "Dunlapian", and ignored a couple of dozen posters who regularly do so....I am curious to know WHY ?
At one time, the contributors to this thread were made up mostly of people who came here to discuss and debate politics. This thread has devolved into a bash fest composed of a poster that is so infatuated with being Linda that she or he has taken over her screen name, and other imposters who pose as other regular contributors. This is so bad that nobody knows which poster made the comment.
There are several "Really Sassy" posters, a couple of Pete's a dozen screen names for the genius from Jackson. Then there is MGurl and it's stellar comments on incest and the size of certain anatomical appendages etc. "Willard" and his flock from Pikeville. He...ooops I meant "they" spend an inordinate amount of time using the judge it feature, so we always know when he is lurking.(ooops I mean "they") I could go on and on, but the number of legitimate contributors who wish to discuss politics and political topics can be counted on one hand....and you wonder WHY I (and "Dunlapian") have "turned to be as bad as some of the others" ?

Yesterday a poster made the incorrect point that the Republican party is bent upon creating a permanent underclass. I disagreed - and here's another reason why.

African American Education Czar to Reduce “Resegregation”

"Of interesting note is that the Obama administration is actually paying states to set new academic achievement targets based on race and income, with LOWER goals for black, Hispanic and poor kids and higher ones for whites and Asians.

Washington D.C. became the first American public school system to adapt the new race-based standards last fall. A federal education official explained in a mainstream newspaper that the administration is just “trying to be realistic about what’s achievable.”"

So much for the soft racism of low expectations. Now it is blatant discrimination to keep minorities ignorant, poor, and dependent upon government. No surprise to me that the liberals/democrats/socialists have the same racist goal of keeping blacks & Hispanics poor and powerless but I hope it opens some other people's eyes.

Good morning R/S, looks like a major stupid fest ensued last night, huh? I'm with Nuh, I'm glad I missed most of it!

I see that our "revisionist" historian is expanding his borders, or attempting to do so this morning. Not to be content with changing American and World history beyond recognition, he now declares himself the resident "Topix" historian.:)

I'm particularly nauseated with an erroneous summary of the social landscape on this thread deceptively crafted for BC's consumption! LMAO!! Much more of this vomit and I'll begin to air some of his debaucherous laundry!

I'm sorry you feel I called you out. I should have said OA instead probably. But even though I can't really blame you for taking up for yourself I just find all of this bashing gets nothing accomplished. I know there is no way to stop what goes on here but wouldn't it be nice to see it change back to a discussion instead of what it has become? What bothers me the most if that each of us have our own political views and should be able to state them without beind called stupid because we don't see eye to eye with someone. It also bothers me that it appears that those being Democrats rally behind Linda in the name calling. To me a friend would advise another friend on how bad they look when they do that. You see, it isn't only on this forum that people dislike her. She has a serious problem trying to shove her beliefs down everyones throats. I want to see people get along and not try to destroy the very town we live in and that is what has been happening here and on this forum as well. I didn't call the others out because they are going to keep doing what they do. You and Dunlapian and a few others were not that way and I don't want to see you change to what this has become. I personally don't usually post to Linda because I know if I do she is going to call me JK, gay, a neighbor or some other ugly name simply because I have a different opinion.

Exactly, some constantly require others to make points for them because they're to stupid to do it themselves! For example, some people are topix "Squatters," unbearably boring...yet so self-absorbed they feel they must drown others with their intellectual "sock drawer" day. LMAO!

So, once again you're absolutely correct here, completely by accident of course!

Read this and thought it interesting. My question would be this: Who made the particle(s)?
GENEVA (AP)- Physicists said Thursday they are now confident they have discovered a crucial subatomic particle known as a Higgs boson - a major discovery that will go a long ways toward helping them explain why the universe is the way it is.
They made the statement following study of the data gathered last year from the world's largest atom-smasher, which lies beneath the Swiss-French border outside Geneva. The European Organization for Nuclear Research, or CERN, said that what they found last year was, indeed, a version of what is popularly referred to as the "God particle."
Joe Incandela, who heads one of the two main teams at CERN that each involve several thousand scientists, said in a statement that "it is clear that we are dealing with a Higgs boson though we still have a long way to go to know what kind of Higgs boson it is."
The long-theorized subatomic particle would explain why matter has mass and has been considered a missing cornerstone of physics.
Last July, scientists with the world's largest atom-smasher announced finding a particle they described as Higgs-like.
Nuh, I was excited to know this attracted you're attention. I've been following this work at the Hadron collider for years. The findings relating to the "God particle" seem to be seminal from early concepts derived from research into the "Bell's Theorum". If and when you work backwards into this flow of research, you'll want to jump up and down, it's utterly fantastic.

At your leisure, find and read some research summations into the component of: "non-locality" experiments at Cern and other colliders in the world. This finding is so staggering it leaves me humbled. The new evidence has caused quantum mechanics researchers to simply throw out life-times of collective scientific constructs once thought to be solid. Take care!

What happened "Willard" ? I just pointed out what everyone who can think already knows. Obviously you do not like to look in the mirror.... Can it be long before "Mary Ann" or "Carol" make an appearance to enlighten us as to what a fine specimen you are ? Or will it be "Jamie" ?

I think you have a reading disorder. Setting reasonable goals gives a child a sense of success and something to work toward. As they exceed those, a new goal is set. It is practiced already with gifted classes and AP courses versus standard curriculum. Teaching to the child. Encouraging success, addressing a problem.
