A good quote describing Congress.

Obama personalized it by saying "If I had a son, he would be like Trayvon."
Can't get more personal than that.
Spending federal tax dollars by the DOJ to support Trayvon martin protests.
yeah, I gotta agree with you about Obama being a divider.
"Division" is a top rated strategy. It is a tactic used in war, sports, and politics. Nobama and his team are experts at it. Why anyone is so stupid as to vote for this type of agenda, twice, is a question for the ages.

I have been watching this Zimmerman thing for a little while and it is sickening what Obama and the media has done with this case. Obama made it into a racial thing. He personalized it. So did the news media. Obama needed Black votes so he played it up to stir things up. The news media had already been doing its job, for the White House, by yelling a white man murders a Black boy. First mistake the man wasn't White, as he was Hispanic with Black blood in him. Zimmermans Grandmother was Black.
Obama and the Department of Justice had Zimmerman tried , convicted as a guilty racist White man.
Obama has done more to harm race relations in this country than almost anyone I can think of.
He divides us into races, sexes, sexual preference, age groups, religious preferences, cultural and regional differences. This country is divided more now than at almost any time I can remember. Divide and conquer.
All this was done just to get elected. How cheap and underhanded is that? How can anyone be stupid enough to keep falling for it again?

IMO, Obama politicized the Zimmerman/Martin case by singling that particular case out and going on national TV claiming that Travon could be his son. That's all it took. Why did he get involved with this particular case at that particular time? Apparently, law enforcement on the scene had already decided it was a case of self defense. Zimmerman should have never been arrested in the first place. As it turns out, after months of dissension and speculation and a trial, the same conclusion was reached. As usual, Obama jumps to his own conclusions and puts himself in the middle of an event and makes sure that it becomes a RACIAL divider. Remember him once again going on national TV declaring the police did a STUPID thing for arresting(?) the black guy because they thought he was breaking into a house. Instead the house belonged to the black guy? Why did Obama get involved in THAT????? Again, divide and conquer. I agree with Bigdave. Obama has done more to hurt racial relations than any president in MY lifetime.

Just saw the jury acquitted Zimmerman.

Seems the jury did its job.

Now let's all hear how it was all Obama's fault.

The same Right Wingers who refuse to hold Bush accountable for the Iraq War; the Great Recession: the $1.4 Trillion Dollar Budget Deficit; Ddoubling the National Debt; Kidnapping, torturing and murdering civilians; and the UnPatriot Act;

will find a way to blame Obama because Florida's Right Wing Republican Governor caused Zimmerman to be prosecuted.

This ought to be fun !

I agree that what Obama said was irresponsible and stupid but I just don't see how you get from there to him trying to influence the trial. Personally, I don't think the case should have ever even been brought to trial, but I also don't think that I would want George Zimmerman walking around my neighborhood with a damn gun, either. Would you?

So is that your answer? The only other terrorist that have been attacking us and all the other countries in the world are Muslims. I haven't seen any Neo-Nazi's trying to bomb and kill Americans at parades lately have you? I haven't seen them trying to crash planes into skyscrapers. I haven't read of them blowing up cars, buses,and buildings killing innocent women, men, and children have you?
I don't know what religion he was. Just because he was in Iraq doesn't mean anything. He could have converted to Islam while he was over there. This is not about him it is about the other 99.9999% of terrorist out there and they are Muslim. Quit trying to make excuses for these Muslims. I can't tell which Muslim is a good Muslim can you? Many give financial support to the terrorist at their local mosques. Others give whatever aid they can to the terrorists such as supplies, information and a place to hide. I don't ever see or hear those so called peace loving Muslims criticising or saying anything against the terrible terrorist acts do you? Have they ever had a protest against their non- peace loving Muslim Brothers?
http://www.prochoice.org/about_abortion/viole...
Since the 1973 Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision that made abortion legal, there has been an organized campaign by anti-abortion extremists which has resulted in escalating levels of violence against women's health care providers. In an attempt to stop abortion, anti-abortion extremists have chosen to take the law into their own hands.

What began as peaceful protests with picketing moved to harassing clinic staff and patients as they entered clinics and eventually escalated to blockading clinic entrances.

This foundation of harassment led to violence with the first reported clinic arson in 1976 and a series of bombings in 1978. Arsons and bombings have continued until this day. Anti-abortion extremists have also used chemicals to block women's access to abortion employing butyric acid to vandalize clinics and sending anthrax threat letters to frighten clinic staff.

In the early 1990s, anti-abortion extremists concluded that murdering providers was the only way to stop abortion. The first provider was murdered in 1993. Since then, there have been seven subsequent murders and numerous attempted murders of clinic staff and physicians, several of which occurred in their own homes. In 2009, NAF member Dr. George Tiller was shot and killed in his church in Wichita, Kansas.

Eric Robert Rudolph (born September 19, 1966), also known as the Olympic Park Bomber, is a Christian terrorist responsible for a series of anti-abortion and anti-gay-motivated bombings across the southern United States between 1996 and 1998, which killed two people and injured at least 150 others. The Federal Bureau of Investigation considers him a terrorist.

And more.......
"Documents Obtained by Judicial Watch Detail Role of Justice Department in Organizing Trayvon Martin Protests."
http://www.judicialwatch.org/press-room/press...
Yeah, Judical Watch, another "top flight" source for reliable information, right up there with World Nut Daily.

http://www.judicialwatch.org/bulletins/doj-se...
"Though CRS purports to spot and quell racial tensions nationwide before they arise, the documents obtained by Judicial Watch show the group actively worked to foment unrest, spending thousands of taxpayer dollars on travel and hotel rooms to train protestors throughout Florida."

Then lists these examples, which of course, do not support their contention...

CRS employee spent $1,142.84 to travel to Sanford, Florida from March 25-28, 2012 “to work marches, demonstrations, and rallies”;

CRS employee spent $751.60 to travel to Sanford, Florida from March 30-April 1, 2012 “to provide technical assistance to the City of Sanford, event organizers, and law enforcement agencies for the march and rally on March 31”;

CRS employee spent $1,307.40 to travel to Sanford, Florida from April 3-12, 2012 “to provide technical assistance, conciliation, and onsite mediation during demonstrations planned in Sanford”;

CRS employee spent $672.24 to travel to Tampa, Florida from April 18-20, 2012 “to meet with RNC official related to possible protests and demonstrations during the RNC”

Then they found this damning email...

“Congratulations to our partners, Thomas Battles, Regional Director, and Mildred De Robles, Miami-Dade Coordinator and their co-workers at the U.S. Department of Justice Community Relations Service for their outstanding and ongoing efforts to reduce tensions and build bridges of understanding and respect in Sanford, Florida.”

And just what is this "secert team of secert peacekeepers", well, they are sooooo secert that I didn't even have to file a FOIA, I just did a google search.....

http://www.justice.gov/crs/about-crs.htm
The Community Relations Service is the Department's "peacemaker" for community conflicts and tensions arising from differences of race, color, and national origin. Created by the Civil Rights Act of 1964, CRS is the only Federal agency dedicated to assist State and local units of government, private and public organizations, and community groups with preventing and resolving racial and ethnic tensions, incidents, and civil disorders, and in restoring racial stability and harmony.

CRS conciliators work with State and local officials and community leaders to provide a wide variety of services to address racial issues and prevent violent hate crimes committed on the basis of race, color, national origin, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, or disability.

I don't think he DID influence the trial. I stated that he politicized the incident. The jury made the decision, based on evidence, to acquit. Obama just stirred the pot, as usual.
I agree with your last statement.
