...As for impeachment-screeching Republicans? They're DOWN a net eight points from 38-54 a month ago, to 35-59 this week.
It turns out that:
* The American people just don't think that it's the worst scandal since Watergate that Obama called the Benghazi consulate attack an "act of terror" as opposed to a "terrorist attack".
* The American people just don't care that the IRS spent extra time looking at the applications of political groups┬Śnone of which had their applications rejected, mind you.(Well, except for that one liberal group.)
* The American people can't be bothered to care that some reporters were spied on, after the GOP spent the last decade pushing for increased wiretapping powers in the name of "national security". This is exactly what Republicans wanted. No one believes they're really that outraged about it now.
So after the president's supposed worst week ever, with Republicans jumping in glee at the scandals, we find that the president's popularity has inched up, the Democratic Party's popularity is significantly up, and Republicans, at 59 percent unfavorable, are at their highest unpopularity level since CNN started polling the question in 1992.
I've never even considered impreachment. I was VERY happy that the extreme left wing media actually REPORTED what has been going on. That is no less than a miracle. The Communist News Network wouldn't DARE produce a nonpartisan poll. I am not surprised at their "findings" in the least.

while I despise using blogs as valid sources of info, I will add that you didnt report the whole story. Now why is that Oh my? Afraid that muddy waters might dirty your pretty white tennis shoes?
Also from the curved and twisted blog.........
"Fifty-five percent say the IRS and Benghazi matters are very important to the nation and 53% saying the same thing about the AP case.
"But that doesn't quite make either of them another Watergate - at least, not yet. Nearly two-thirds say that Watergate was very important to the nation at the time; 58% say Iran-Contra was very important during the Reagan administration," says Holland. "So Americans see the current controversies as very important - maybe as much as Iran-Contra, but not yet at Watergate levels."
Subject to change dramatically if the news get worse for Obamie.
"The poll was conducted by ORC International for CNN on May 17-18, with 923 adults nationwide questioned by telephone. The survey's sampling error is plus or minus three percentage points."
WOW! 923 folks speaks for America??????????
picked at random or not?????
If the survey of 923 was done in Union county, the percentage would be repubs 70%, Obama 30%.
Another of the TOPIX loonie liberals MO. They cherry pick from articles and if they're REALLY trying to hide other info, they won't post the link. They've been called out several times.

This is America.
Relax, this isn't New Orleans.
The grown ups are in charge.
Let's just pray for our fellow countrymen and be happy that grown ups who believe in government assisting the people in emergencies are in charge.
My business and I have donated to the Red Cross, just like I am sure many others will do.
The grown ups? You call yourselves grown ups? You call Obama kicking doors when he doesn't get his way as being grown up? You are a loonie liberal union thug who does nothing more than ride on the backs of others in life and on this forum and filibuster as if you have one clue about what is really going on. You make me LOL.

Glad your company has donated. It's the RIGHT thing to do.

So we should outlaw cars and hammers because more people die from them every year versus guns. That is an FBI statistic.
Go ahead and try to outsmart mother nature. Remember, the Titanic was unsinkable, until nature stepped in.
You might recall that your original statement was that none of the failed to pass gun laws would have stopped the Sandy Hook shooting, and this is certainly true since we can undo the past. But laws are written to curtail future behavior.

Since you brought up automobiles let's look at some of the laws that curtailed future behavior or mitigated damage from auto accidents.

Drunk driving laws were strengthened and blood alcohol threshold has been lowered which has reduced the number of deaths from drunk drives behind the wheel. It is now not only irresponsible to drink and drive, but also socially unacceptable.

Safety features have been added to cars, some voluntary, some mandatory, that have reduced the level of injury and deaths from auto accidents. Did people still die from lack of seat belts, sure, but eventually the majority of those cars were replaced thru attrition.

None of these laws had the slightest impact on events in the past, but all had an impact on events in the future.

I didn't know who voted for or against the Sandy Relief Bill.
You don't have to worry. Those people will be cared for IN SPITE of your hatred and lies. It's not about YOU. It's about getting help those people so despately need and they'll get it.
Of course, you "didn't know" (where have we heard that over and over) about the Sandy Relief. It didn't support your lies, so there ya go.

Just another example of your tossing truth out the window to demonize those who don't agree with your propaganda. It's a horrible tragedy and I feel so badly for the parents that will never hold their children again. It's a tragedy that can't be recovered from.
What I AM pleased to see is that responsible adults are at least partially in charge of this country again, and that we're seeing professional and prompt relief for those who are suffering and lost everything.
As far as other people who've been happy about getting a good response when it was needed?

As far as politicizing tragedy? Nobody has the Reps beat on that. Nobody.

Lie!
I guarantee Obama's handlers are turning cartwheels.
MY propaganda? How about YOUR propaganda?
It IS an horrendous tragedy and devastating to this entire country, but most of all those poor victims.
You kill me with your "WE'RE RESPONSIBLE ADULTS" crap. It's about time, don't you think? If you were responsible, you would have NEVER voted for the communist TWICE.
And YES! You most assuredly ARE happy about this taking the attention away from that fraud Obama.

I admired Christie for announcing that he had been properly helped. That will help him when he runs for president.
Your second source is left wing. We've already had that discussion. BTW, Romney didn't corner the market on politicizing disasters. Typical of you short sighted left wing loonies.

Don't Right Wing Wackos get all bent out of shape when they are held accountable for the results of their policies.
Let's cut funding to FEMA - who needs money for disasters ?
Let's not require strict building codes and code enforcement - what the worse that can happen ?
Let's keep the government from regulating work place safety - what could possibly go wrong ?
These events are made far deadlier, dangerous, and costly as a result if Right Winger demanding "less government regulations that stifle profits".
Accountability sucks.
Just complete hyperbole from a HYPOCRITE. No cred.

The economy scares me more than any politician. Incomes for highly educated and trained workers have risen while low-skilled workers' wages have fallen. With the baby-boomer generation retiring, eventually taxes will have to be raised to care for these retirees and low-skilled workers don't pay taxes so the responsibility will fall on the highly educated and trained workers. That scares the bejeebies out of me.

And the Exxon thing happens non-stop, every second of every day. It's ok for an unemployed mom to have no food. Not ok for the Exxon Shareholders to have to earn their money honestly.
Children and Republicans. They have no sense of perspective.

Just trying to make sense of Right Wing Wacko puling.
I know, when Right Wing Wackos talk about tragedies and the political or policy decisions related to them - it's legitimate discussion.
When normal people discuss tragedies and the political or policy decisions related to them - it's dancing on graves.
Kind of like welfare.
When Right Wing Wackos cash their government checks, or use their special tax deductions and tax breaks - that ain't welfare - why - because it ain't.
Thank God children are entertaining.

I'm not a member of the Tea Party group, but what has happened is an absolute abuse of power. Do you not understand that???? What if it were happening to left wing groups? Do you not understand that what the IRS has done is horrendous?????? Are you not capable of taking the politics out of it and see the implication? Your party could be next!!! WAKE UP.

Ain't it humorous to watch all these Right Wing Wackos who slurp up all those benefits created with the blood and sweat of union workers, tell us all how bad unions are.
They love the 40 hour work week, overtime pay, vacations, family leave, minimum wage, safe working conditions, Social Security, Medicare, and the hundreds other benefits that allow them to live decent lives:
Then whine like little girls whenever some worker somewhere has a benefit they don't.
It's fine with these buffoons if some guy inherits billions and pays no taxes - but God forbid that some cop has a pension.
As the unions die, and the working class becomes more and more simply serfs to the ruling class, they'll continue to tell us how bad unions are, while they live in their cardboard boxes begging Romney for the chance to pilfer his garbage can for a chance to feed their kids.
And still they'll never learn.
Ah well... My pension check arrived last week with a nice COLA raise - thanks F.O.P.
If your beloved unions are so great, why is membership in the private sector below 7%?

Atleast this president is getting some money back to the people and not just the corporate wealthy. You all are a Curse and a Shame to our country and most of us non-republicans are'nt leeberrals.
Yeah? How much and where is that money that this president has gotten back to the people? I'm very interesting in that statement. I've not read anything about that. Now, I've heard about lower pay checks and higher cost to medical coverage. So, please clue us in.
