<quoted text>I disagree on the grounds that scientific evidence has shown otherwise. Yes there has been climate changes since the beginning of time. The fact is though there has never been a creature upon this earth as powerful as man. We are changing the natural order of things and causing this natural climate change to happen far more rapidly than it would happen naturally. Thus not giving ourselves time as well as the wildlife time to adapt to this rapid extreme climate changing. I think it's just common sense that you usually have a ample supply of. Where do you think all this pollution goes? Do you think it just float up and magically disappears? If you crank you car up in a garage and sit in there for an extended period of time. You will die. The same principle applys here only on a much larger scale.
Your explanation is extremely over simplified. The atmosphere of the earth is huge and does cleanse itself. Scientist have just proved that co2 gases are not a cause of global warming. Ponder this one. Just how much pollution does one volcano put out in one day? They put out gases from sulfuric acid and many other highly toxic gases. It has been said that just one volcano puts out as much pollution in one day, as every car, airplane, and factory on earth does in a year. You must have seen videos of the huge billows of thick black smoke with ash falling covering thousands of miles. Is that not taken into account? How could anything that man does even create even a noticeable amount of pollution that all these volcanos do? Sure man can pollute the air as one can see the results in China but is that pollution actually warming the earth? If it is, than why is the earth actually getting cooler? Oh yeah, that's right it is global cooling {climate change),being caused by man. I think you are not old enough to remember that the big scare in the 1970"s was global cooling. It was headlines on all the newspapers and magazines for years of how the world was going into an ice age. Well it didn't and then in the 1990's, we are all going to die as the planet heats up, blah, blah, blah. Now it is climate change. This fictitious fear mongering science just goes on and on. It is a money maker and gives the EPA great power to control this country. All I am asking for you do do is just give this some logical thought.

What else can you say, except the video documentary was dead on with all the facts that you would love to keep the American people from seeing. It never said that Obama was Karl Marx. It did imply that Obama is a Marxist. It did show all of Obamas communist affiliations. It did give a history of socialism and communism. It did show most of the communist supported organizations in this country. It did make people such as yourself very uneasy and will wake up those that do not know all this information yet.

Made time to watch, very interesting, but it's fairly easy to do something like that after the fact (kinda like hindsight being 20/20.). Not saying I disagree, but it's hard to follow all the "connections" without knowing more facts or being able to independently verify them.

However, just like the BO 2016 movie, many of the clueless and uneducated won't even take the time to view it...

Reminds me of a trip to Las Vegas in December, 2008 (work related), waiting in line in the ATL airport to board the plane and some nut job was talking about global warming and how it was going to "ruin the earth". I asked him if realized Las Vegas had just received around 6-8 inches of snow and ice. He mumbled something but didn't respond...

Local weather at a given moment and location is not an indicator of long-term climate change.

If only the clueless and uneducated could get this simple concept.

Great post.
Thanks.
I listened to Campbell's " Hero With a Thousand Faces" many years ago on CD, lasted for months because I constantly had to replay it to try to understand all that was being relayed.
I'll give "Masks" a try.
It is amazing how myths and folklore seem to validate that Voltaire saying;
"If God didn't exist, it would be necessary to invent him".
My take on Campbell's work is not so much that we feel the need to invent God, but that we are constantly struggling to find a set of meaningful symbols with which to converse on that which transcends all symbols. These symbols change thru history but the topic of discussion has always remained the same, because we face the same life-cycle today, that man has always faced.

A couple of interesting points from the Middle East,

Herding cultures come in from the northern steppes and from the deserts to replace planting cultures, here is where the Male-centered god replaces the earth-mother goddess (a different emphasis and culture).

The Hebrews were late on the scene, they adopt and modify the stories that already exist in the areas they move into. A common motif is that of the younger brother who is favored over the older. It can be seen in the tale of Cain and Abel, where Abel is the younger brother, a herder, and whose offering is pleasing to God (this tale also justifies any strife towards the old planting religions).

I knew at an early age what was going on and realized how it was being done. It doesn't take too much in observations to see just how and whom are doing these things. Woodrow Wilson started most of our problems by pushing socialism. Roosevelt implemented many socialist ideas during his time in office. Lyndon Johnson and Earl Warren made some of the most drastic social changes to this country. Other presidents and Congress have continued to add more and more socialist plans and laws. Where are we at in the big picture now? From what I saw many of the organizations that were listed do have communist affiliations. The information given on Obama was correct.Of course they are giving a 20/20 hindsight view of what has happened. Most people don't have a clue. That is just a part of history and should be told. What is going to happen? They don't know for sure and either do I, but I bet you $10.00 it isn't going to turn out good for you or me if things keep going the way they are going.
Just take the religious equation out of the video, which I did, and pay only attention to the rest of the contents. There were many things to consider but I saw nothing that looked wrong. In a way it was much like the 2016 movie which only a small amount of people saw. The ones that should see it would not go as they were told not to. Some real self thinking people, huh.

The “Global Warming” scare has never been about science but about politics.

How about these?

Genetically modified food.
Microwave and/or cell phone towers causing cancer.
Acid rain.

Let's not forget Y2K, planes falling out of the sky.

Always usually fermented by hysterical sycophantic libtards.

So far I have lived through:
1)A coming Ice Age (I bet this one makes a comeback)
2)Overpopulation leading to mass starvation
3)The world running out of fossil fuels- REPEATEDLY (we always seem to be 10-15 years from disaster)
4)Everyone getting three heads and glowing in the dark due to Nuclear reactors
5)The end of the Ozone layer, and its resulting calamitous effects on our health and the oh -so – fragile ecosystem
6)The repeatedly predicted collapse of said same oh- so -fragile ecosystem
7) everyone suffocating from CO2 poisoning because the rainforests are going to disappear.
…..and now Global Warming.
Does that answer your question?
I've never seen a better argument for increasing funding for public education than this post.

I don't know what Jesus will say to me, I'm not such a pompous azz enough to even assume I would be worthy to make such assumptions.
I am sure Jesus would expect me on a PERSONAL level to follow his teachings, not broadcast or make boasts or judgments who is and who is not a follower of him.
I would expect Jesus to say, it is your personal duty to care for the sick, the poor, the infirm, and the children. I am also sure Jesus would say be satisfied with what you have and not be envious of what other people have, do your duty and let others do theirs.
I see and understand only one thing Jesus requires of us and that is "do you believe Jesus is the son of God? that he was crucified and died on the cross? and that he arose from the dead? and now lives?" These questions are the basis of the new testament, if you cant or wont believe them, the rest of the gospels are hogwash, and each person comes to that decision, Informed Opinion's personal opinion notwithstanding.
If the answers are yes, then caring for those in need no longer is a duty but now becomes a joy and way of life.
I dont expect you or anyone else to do "charity work", and for sure I dont care to have it forced on me by Gubment while Gubment plays God and says who pays how much and when, nor do I care to have it forced on me by libtards who always talk and strut before the world how wonderful they are and how much they help everyone while at the same time making more and more of the people dependent on Gubment where Gubment becomes their God.
Agreed

The noble strategies concocted to ward off global warming are merely massive wealth transfers cloaked in green. The social justice crowd should be outraged and hopefully will be when they figure out thatthe progressives that they follow are playing them.
