Fraud is fraud regardless of party affiliation.
The current REPUBLICAN governor of Florida, Rick Scott, resigned from being the Chief Executive of Columbia/HCA for the same thing, MEDICARE FRAUD. Columbia/HCA was fined a whopping $600 million, which was the largest fraud settlement in US history.

Scott should be in prison sharing a cell with Bush. Instead he was elected governor.

With that as an example these doctors would be lined up for REPUBLICAN political office had they been REPUBLICANS.

There was a lot of Medicare fraud uncovered in Florida under Bush.

Bush, stupid and a crook.
Medicare chief Thomas Scully under Bush was never held accountable for his role in the Medicare fraud vast Medicare fraud exposed under Bush. Scully threatened Medicare employee Richard Foster for exposing Bush's deliberately misrepresentation the proposed Medicare Part D drug benefit program's costs in order to ensure passage during his re-election year. Scully designed that bill but "is now critical of the system. He said it was put in place in order to curb rising doctors’ fees". He was a Bush pawn.

This REPUBLICAN did it for a decade(under Bush too). Fraud claims go back to 2002.

"Another FLORIDA REPUBLICAN Embroiled In Medicare Fraud Case
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.-- The Department of Justice is suing the hospice company founded by Florida's (REPUBLICAN) SENATE president, accusing it of submitting tens of millions of dollars in fraudulent Medicare claims for more than a decade, including while Don Gaetz was vice chairman of the board."

"According to the analysis, patients in Exchange plans paid a greater percentage of their pharmacy costs in the first two months of their plan, compared to those enrolled in commercial plans. As a result, health insurers’ per-member pharmacy costs so far this year are nearly 35% higher for their commercial plans vs. their Exchange plans.
We will also be keeping a close eye on cost-shifting and use of the higher-cost tiers for specialty medications and nonpreferred drugs, measuring how quickly these Exchange enrollees are meeting their out-of-pocket caps, at which point all costs will be on the health insurer. Continued reporting and insights on patient behavior and medication utilization in the Exchanges will help our clients provide a competitive, affordable benefit amid the persistent uncertainty common with a new market.
About the Analysis
The analysis is based on a national sample of more than 650,000 de-identified pharmacy claims from Jan. 1, 2014 through Feb. 28, 2014 for patients enrolled in a Public Health Insurance Exchange plan with pharmacy benefit coverage administered by Express Scripts. The analysis compared these pharmacy claims to those from commercial health plans, with pharmacy coverage administered by Express Scripts, during the same time period. The Exchange sample included approximately 423,000 lives."

Great news, the state of Georgia has one of the highest costs in the nation when purchasing insurance thru the exchanges. Who do you "think" pays for the under insured and uninsured who get free health care before the Health Care bill, that's a question??? The health care bill needs work, but the MAJORTIY of American's want it fixed, that's a fact, look it up. Remember, the state of Georgia, it's legislature and its governor want the health care bill gone. Individual states set the rates, its not a nationalized plan like the idiot fringe claims. You have a state where the majority are against the plan, mainly because they don't understand how it really works. And that state has one of the highest plan costs. You think that's not by CHOICE, look it up boozo, you will see.

IMO, it will have to be FIXED rather than repealed. It's too far gone to be repealed. There would be too much chaos unless there were to be another plan to take its place at the same time and that's not very likely to happen. There was/is so much chaos with THIS rollout. Can't imagine anyone wants to go through THAT again. People in EVERY state are having problems with higher costs instead of what was proclaimed would happen. Right now, this healthcare law is a DOG. We ALL know it. Why do you think it's going to play such a major role in the midterms? I can support fixing it(due to the reasons I have already stated), but a LOT needs to be fixed. True. A majority of the people polled are in favor of fixing it, but a majority of the people didn't want THIS law in the first place and a majority of the people DON'T LIKE IT. Look it up, bozo. DOJ Probes TX Voter Intimidation Complaints During Tea Party Anti-Voter Fraud Drive
RYAN J. REILLY – OCTOBER 20, 2010, 2:34 AM EDT
http://talkingpointsmemo.com/muckraker/doj-pr...

Poll watchers in Harris County, Texas -- where a Tea Party group launched an aggressive anti-voter fraud effort -- were accused of "hovering over" voters, "getting into election workers' faces" and blocking or disrupting lines of voters who were waiting to cast their ballots as early voting got underway yesterday....

Harris County, the biggest county in the state, is where a Tea Party group called the King Street Patriots launched an anti-voter fraud initiative called "True the Vote," which recruited poll watchers and amped up fears over groups like the community organizing group ACORN.

Chad Dunn, a lawyer who is representing the Texas Democratic Party, told TPMMuckraker a number of witnesses have been interviewed by Civil Rights Division lawyers already. "We've gotten a number of reports -- quite a few out of the Houston area -- that poll watchers, King Street Patriot training poll watchers, are following a voter after they've checked them out and stand right behind them," Dunn said. There's at least a dozen reports that they could confirm with witnesses, he said. "Interestingly, it's all in the polling places in Hispanic and African-American areas," he added.

Terry O'Rourke, the first assistant in the Harris County Attorney's office, told TPMMuckraker that there have been allegations of poll watchers talking to voters, which they are not allowed to do, as well as hovering over voters as they are waiting to vote.

True The Vote, Tea Party Voting Group, Targeted By Congressional Inquiry
Updated: 10/05/2012 5:36 pm
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/10/05/true...

A Democratic congressman has launched an investigation into True The Vote, a conservative Tea Party group that has attempted to purge thousands of registered voters from voting rolls across the country ahead of the November presidential election....

"True the Vote, its volunteers, and its affiliated groups have a horrendous record of filing inaccurate voter registration challenges, causing legitimate voters -- through no fault of their own -- to receive letters from local election officials notifying them that their registrations have been challenged and requiring them to take steps to remedy false accusations against them," wrote Cummings, the ranking minority member of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform.

The letter continues: "Multiple reviews by state and local government officials have documented voter registration challenges submitted by your volunteers based on insufficient evidence, outdated or inaccurate data, and faulty software and database capabilities. Across multiple states, government officials of both political parties have criticized your methods and work product for their lack of accuracy and reliability."

"Your tactics have been so problematic that even Ohio Republican Secretary of State Jon Husted has condemned them as potentially illegal," Cummings states in his letter.

Your post confirms my post..........

Cummings never told committee Republicans about his contacts with the IRS concerning the group True the Vote. INFACT, HE HAS DENIED ANY SUCH CONTACT.

The letter also notes that Cummings' email communications with the IRS "raise disturbing concerns about your possible motivations for opposing this investigation and your unwillingness to lend your support to efforts to obtain the testimony of former IRS Exempt Organizations Director Lois G. Lerner."
Committee Republicans also question whether the IRS had "improperly shared protected taxpayer information" with Cummings' staff.
The letter details Cummings' staff's contacts with Catherine Engelbrecht, president and founder of True the Vote, who testified that she received three letters from Cummings' office, demanding the same information that the IRS wanted from her.
Engelbrecht's attorney, Cleta Mitchell, raised the possibility that Cummings' staff had coordinated with the IRS in targeting True the Vote.
The letter to Cummings notes that Lois Lerner appeared "personally interested in fulfilling your request for information about True the Vote," and it included in its letter transcripts of emails from Lerner.

I want to clarify something in my post #40688. I don't support nationalized healthcare AT ALL. Apparently, we have it and unless a miracle happens, we will continue to have it. I don't understand why EVERYONE had to be drug through this just to insure those who didn't/don't have insurance. Why couldn't something have been worked out for THEM? Instead, we were BOLDLY lied to(as usual) and ALL of us stuck with this dog of a law.
