There aren't ENOUGH wine coolers in the world to dumb me down enough to have a discussion with you. It's impossible to reason with a liberal.

Just think about it for a moment. You said:

than emotion to defend your premise. Please leave out judgemental phrases and just give me the facts, please.

Please show that there
is ANY real-world logic to the sentence you said "ObamaCare was designed to fail."

Go to any but the liberal websites and you'll see. I can't believe you haven't figured this out, yet. As you have told others: "Come ON. You are smarter than that."

There is NO excuse for what has happened with this roll-out. You can believe all that koolaid crap you want to, but I'm right about this.
BTW, I've wasted more than enough on liberals on this forum, just to have my links, etc. ignored. No thanks. Won't be played like that again. You want proof. YOU find it.

Ain't a shame that everything in America today is divided by the media and the manipulators into Left vs. Right, "Conservative" vs. "Liberal", Republican vs. Democrat.

Most issues are more accurately defined as the "Powerful" vs. the "Powerless".

Sure, there are times when all normal people could agree the government has exceeded its authority and infringed on the people - think UnPatriot Act.

But in the real world the average American's greatest enemy isn't his fellow employee, is the system designed to minimize the power and influence of the single American.

That's why the powerful fight so hard against class action lawsuits, and force arbitration to bar a persons right to a jury trial in civil suits, and keep pushing division, fear, and hatred.

That's why we need wars and battles all around the planet.

That's why differences of opinion can't be resolved by examination of the facts, every dispute has to be linked to some major ideological goal and described as another step on the road to eternal hell or utopia.

Someday, if and when the conditions deteriorate to the point it's unbearable, Americans will understand this liberal vs. socialist vs. commie vs. fascist vs. libertarian vs. progressive stuff has all been b.s.

Those battles are shiny objects to distract from what the battle is really always about - M O N E Y.

Douglas County already has the problems that you just mentioned in your post. Not all of them are caused by drug abuse. Some people are just plain sorry and some are criminals.
No doubt portions of these problems are drug related.
Just accept the fact that as long as there are drug users there will be illegal drugs sold. This could be changed if the government supplied certain drugs to addicts free or for almost nothing. This would eliminate almost all drug related crimes to get drug money. These people would be offered choices such as a place to go and overcome their addictions so they could live a normal life. They would also be able to keep using the drugs until they actually kill themselves. If the users drive a car or commit a crime then they will be imprisoned for years and never be allowed to receive their government allotted drugs again. Once imprisoned they will have to come off the drugs cold turkey and might die from withdrawal. Fair enough. Now we have eliminated the drug suppliers, the drug wholesalers, the mules, the local drug dealers, robberies, burglaries, and a host of other drug related crimes. Cost of incarceration and police investigation would be drastically lowered. More money could be funneled into real drug education for the public. People receiving government assistance would have to take drug test to receive their assistance. If they don't want to be tested then they do not have to, and they will not receive their government assistance. If they fail the drug test they lose their government assistance. That could create other problems that would have to be worked out. Everything I mentioned is free individual choice. I am sure others might also have good ideas on this. We have tried it one way for a long time and it hasn't worked. I am one that believes if you keep doing the same thing over and over and it doesn't work then do something different. Quit trying to put a square peg into a round hole.
Your arguments make sense, and I would agree to change course when the one we're on isn't working. I just don't agree with the whole legalization / taxation thing.
