What the world to beginning to realize......and conservatives have known all along...

"While the White House insists that essential areas of the government, such as the military, will continue to function, the shut down represents yet a further blow to the prestige of the Obama administration at a time when it is still reeling from its inept handling of the recent Syrian crisis.

There was a time not so long ago when the world looked to America for both political and economic leadership. But now that can no longer be taken for granted thanks to Mr Obama's inability to provide decisive leadership on either front."

Debtor's prison will resurface in America. Don't believe it?
Think for a moment. Let's say your employer sponsored health insurance policy becomes too expensive. You don't have the money to buy a policy on the exchange. You get fined by the IRS. Can't pay the fine? Your assets are stolen and off to the Hoosegow you go.
Thanks obama.

obama shuts down the government with the help of Harry Reid by not coming up with a budget as the Constitution of the United States requires. This has gone on for four years.
obama is a sickening liar. Remember that some 30 million Americans will still not have insurance.
obama doesn't even understand the difference between a private company and government. Apple indeed.

obama won't negotiate with Americans but will kiss the butts of Russia and Iran. Is that Gog and Magog? If so, why is he sucking up? Maybe he is the False Prophet.

That's the big government progressive way. Can't argue, can't come up with a single coherent thought, don't have time to hurl insults and vilify?

One question. If the shut down affects only non-essential services, then why do we have these in the first place?
OK, I lied. Another question. Who decides what is essential and what isn't?

New Poll: Only One-Third Of Americans Support Repealing, Defunding Or Delaying Obamacare.

That's not the majority conservative's on topix are claiming, far from it. And this poll was done by a conservative magazine, owned by a conservative, one that actually ran for President as a conservative and lost. Forbes also seems to hate Obama, so he is one of you.

The budget has been presented to the house, and as usual conservatives want to change it. They don't want to compromise, they just want to change it to what they want. SO who's fault is it we can't get one. The answer is the Tea Party, their way or no way, and its not up for discussion. Now the other side won't even bother to try to compromise on some issues, they have tried and they know what will happen.

FURTHERMORE - A large part of the minority that want to get rid of ObamaCare are about as bright as a lump of charcoal.
Oh, the irony continues, after a long (but not long enough?) absence...

About as bright as people that voted for him?

About as bright as one who chooses ChicknButt for a name. You're dim, not bright. How do you expect anyone to take anything you utter seriously? That answer would be, most don't.
That poster has been around (in several threads) using several different names. After he gets his @$$ handed to him (figuratively), he will disappear for a while, change names, etc.

Of course, he'll claim otherwise, but, frankly, who cares? Better just to ignore.

If it's a union position, they're probably ALL essential. Just ask the union people...

Just like the union position in Detroit:

Logical!??!?!?!? Coming from you, gimme a break. This is what is logical and makes sense, shutting down government again?? What makes sense was for the Republicans in congress to ignore the idiot fringe of the party and work a deal, give a little take a little. They have no interest, they are trying to assure their individual place in Congress in the next cycle, or they are plain stupid. They have tried to kill the health care bill with no success and no real expectation of success. They rant on the floor of the House for 22 hours, just to get TV time, NO other reason.
All they have done is insure another Democrat elected President. Remember the last time Republican's pulled such a stupid stunt. They had Clinton on the ropes and very fearful of defeat in the next election. But due to the tremendous blunder by Republicans he won again. And again they make the same mistake assuring whoever runs on the Dem side a victory. History repeats itself and you and yours are to blame both times.
Don't you feel proud, insuring your own defeat. Its the 2nd
stupidest thing the Republicans have done in recent memory. Hilary thanks you, you know she will run now!! I actually was hoping for a sane outcome, I am ready for another try at a Republican President you people just can't get it together, a shame.
Yes. Logical. Of course, I wouldn't expect you to get that. Obamacare is the law, but as of a couple of days ago, only one state was ready with the exchanges. Delaying implementing for a year is totally logical OR why not implement one portion at a time? Why not start with those who have no insurance, get them insured and then move up to the next group. That IS logical.
You are blaming this ALL on the Republicans. Obama wouldn't negotiate. He said absolutely not. What can you do with THAT????? The Senate didn't show up to work on it. What can you do with that???? Here is what is so disingenuous about you, Chickenbutt, Oh my and that other idiot. If the democrats had shut down the government for the very same reasons, you would be behind it 100%.
None of you are decent enough to admit that. You are too full of HATE because that is what your Liar in Chief has been hypotizing you with for five years. I'm not sure this kind of hate will EVER heal. Obama has achieved EXACTLY what he set out to do.....destroy our country as we knew it. He HATES this country and he has proved it time and again and YOU brainless liberals are too clueless to get that. For some reason, you think you are going to come out ahead. You are supporting being screwed out of your way of life. If you dispise your life, then you'll probably be happy when he gets through with you. If you love your life, you had better get all of the enjoyment out of it while you can. Barrack Obama is absolutely the worse thing that has ever happened to this country.
BTW, YOUR thinking is illogical in regard to the next election. The next election will depend on how many voters like socialism. If America wakes up and wants their freedom back, they'll get rid of the democrats and vote for a conservative. Otherwise, Hitlery will win and any socialistic work that Obama didn't finish, Hitlery will take care of. Of course, the Obamas, Clintons and others of their ilk will be protected from the lifestyle that we are going to have. The day THEY sign up for Obamacare, stop taking their luxurious trips and mix with the commoners is the day I MIGHT reconsider. Guess I won't have to worry about THAT.

Tonight Diane Sawyer (ABC World News Tonight) was lamenting how people weren't able to tour the Statue of LIberty, etc. today because of the shutdown. Wonder why she didn't harken back to White House tours being closed to school children? ABC was EXCEPTIONALLY left wing tonight.
