lol Perhaps we'll need to wait and see. There are SO MANY unknowns about Obamacare, although it will be too late, we'll just have to accept WHATEVER your dictator has decided is best for us. He didn't care that a majority of his subjects didn't want HIS law, he just wanted to be sure his name was on it.
Nope no dictators involved, the law was passed by a duly elected Congress and signed by a duly elected President. While these facts may be hard for some to accept they are still facts.

According to the AP, if you are a scientist or statistician and the evidence doesn't support your previous "claims", just scramble around and change it in order to keep your support at the upcoming conference.

Seems that the liberals have a problem with the accuracy of Politifact. I can post more links if you'd like. As I said. It's a matter of interpretation.
So sorry, Betsy McCaughey made specific statements which were shown to be untrue. No interpretation needed.

The fact is that the senate did not vote. It was pushed through under reconciliation. Pelosi said she didn't know what was in it and we'd find out later. When challenged in the supreme court the Obama administration changed the definition to a tax or it would not have made it through there either. of course they spent months telling anyone that would listen that it wasn't a tax, but the truth is always a casualty when this president opens his mouth. Since we all Know that all taxes are subject to approval of the house, then the house was and is well within it's purview to suspend and/or cancel funding.(Think Viet Nam)
The senate can now either listen to their constituents and remove funding for the Affordable Care Act (another oxymoron) or they can shut down the government. Very simple. The house funds all other activities of government save for the automatic increases. Course the progressives that rule the democrat party with an iron fist will lie and call these "cuts". Holding the line is not a cut.
The democrats in the senate might actually do the right thing and accept the house bill as written and then der leader can either submit to the will of the people or he can shut down the government. The choices are clear.

The health care reform bill "would make it mandatory — absolutely require — that every five years people in Medicare have a required counseling session that will tell them how to end their life sooner."

Betsy McCaughey on Thursday, July 16th, 2009 in on the Fred Thompson radio show

http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/state...

For our ruling on this one, there's really no gray area here. McCaughey incorrectly states that the bill would require Medicare patients to have these counseling sessions and she is suggesting that the government is somehow trying to interfere with a very personal decision. And her claim that the sessions would "tell [seniors] how to end their life sooner" is an outright distortion. Rather, the sessions are an option for elderly patients who want to learn more about living wills, health care proxies and other forms of end-of-life planning. McCaughey isn't just wrong, she's spreading a ridiculous falsehood. That's a Pants on Fire.
==========
Betsy McCaughey says on next doctor visit,‘Obamacare will question your sex life’
http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/state...

Our ruling
McCaughey says in "Obamacare will question your sex life" that you can thank the president’s health law for questions about your sexual activity, even if your doctor finds them unnecessary.

She suggests it’s part of Obamacare’s move toward electronic health records. But incentives for electronic health records were part of the Recovery Act, not Obamacare. And they don’t require participating doctors to ask questions about your sex life.

McCaughey frames her concern for patient privacy with an evidence-free attack on Obamacare that veers toward the ridiculous. We call it Pants on Fire.
The greatest thing about ObamaCare is how is forces Right Wingers to reveal how they really, really, hate the thought of personal responsibility; how they really, really hate the thought that they might be forced to pay for their own medical care.

It's is so amusing to read this self-proclaimed "conservatives" whining and puling about a law that simply says if you don't carry insurance, you'll pay a few hundred dollars to help pay toward the medical care you utilize.

How much clearer can these freeloading deadbeats make it that they are the biggest parasites around ?

Damn you and your damn "Democracy".

Obama was elected by blacks and white trash and they shouldn't be allowed to vote anyhow.

As soon as we cut the number of voting hours down to 3.5; make every problem precinct (read democratic) intimidate the hell out of "Those People" when they try to vote; and make it illegal to extend voting hours when the polls can't handle all the voters; we'll have overcome that pesky "democracy" problem.

The NSDAP had it right - As soon as you keep the "Those People" from voting, the right results are bound to follow.

Please Lord... Shut it down.

Shut down Social Security first.
Shut down Medicare Part D next.
Shut down all Medicare next.
Shut down school lunches next.
Shut down Aid to the Elderly next.
Stop paying the Army next.
Shut down airports, trains, and ports next.
Shut down the Border Patrol next.
And on and on.

Please... Shut it all down.

Let's let the Right Wing Wackos win, as as the government shut down causes them to "go away", they'll start to understand how foolish they are.

I keep posting it because it is a perfect example of how,(as statistics prove), Right Wingers are the most government dependent people in America, anxious to remain on the dole, and yet they obnoxiously and hypocritically criticize those of us more concerned about America than trying to sponge off everyone else.

ObamaCare is a long-term Conservative idea that conservative Republicans invented and loved - until it became apparent that most Right Wingers are actually the government dependent parasites that don't want to be personally responsible.

It simply encourages personal responsibility - which a True Conservative applauds.

ObamaCare's most important aspect is simply that:
- if you don't chose to purchase medical insurance,
- you'll be taxed an almost ludicrously small amount of money, to help defray the costs the rest of of incur, providing you medical care at everyone else's expense; and
- To help keep costs down and to assure an insurance market is a available for you - it creates insurance exchanges to help you buy insurance as cheaply as possible.

That's it.

Only a deadbeat freeloader could demand we hard-working productive Americans continue to provide free medical care to selfish parasites who chose not to buy medical insurance.

It is no more onerous than the requirement that you carry insurance on your car; or the bank requiring you carry insurance on your house; or that you post a bond if you engage in certain activities.

Anyone who demands I continue to pay taxes and higher insurance premiums to provide them free medical care are parasitic freeloading deadbeats.

And Right Wingers are those folks.

Sharpton just continues to embarrass himself,(psst, hey Al, the US is a Constitutional Republic, ole buddy, not a democracy). And it still stuns me that MSNBC gave a man of his reputation and with his background a show to highlight his ignorance on national television.

And since he brought it up. That "preexisting condition" section of Obamacare is symptomatic of the whole thing. As of 2013, only 29% of the projected number of people have signed up for the program. And yet, despite less than a third of the estimated number signing up, they have had to close the program to any new enrollees because the cost has already been 2 1/2 times the original projected costs. Surprise, surprise, surprise.
