Republican'ts just voted to raise the taxes of the 99%
and protected millionaires and billionaires from getting
their taxes raised.

You better believe they want YOU to BELIEVE that OWS
is a "self-entitled" generation. God knows they
don't want the 99% to notice Congress's sense of
self entitlement, do they?????????

Congress:
Do as we say, not as we do
or we'll pepper spray you.

has become just another Murdoch tabloid that will post any negative BS that comes along - even from an idiot comedian. The fact that they choose to trivialize dissent and excuse the actions of the criminal elite proves that they are threatened by people waking up.

OWS are just a bunch of overgrown children who expect someone else to keep feeding them well after they should have left their mothers' bosom.

They want to get 'bailed out'--- wanting that someone ELSES' efforts should go for THEIR BENEFIT.

What is it that they REALLY want?

financial services industry behaves like a a bunch of overgrown children who expect someone else to keep feeding them well after they should have left their mothers' bosom. They take our 401ks and home mortgages to the race track and enjoy the fruits of our labors - feeling entitled to expensive New York urban lifestyles that most of us will never experience. All the while complaining about being inconvenienced by the presence of demonstrators on their turf. They want to get 'bailed out'--- wanting that someone ELSES' efforts should go for THEIR BENEFIT.
What is it that they REALLY want?

Many Americans, in the last 10 years, have been screwed over by the banks, insurances companies, doctors/hospitals/ investment brokers, the real estate industry and the politicians in DC. It is they who are sucking on the teets of hard working Americans and they say OWS wants something for nothing? the top 1% has increased their wealth 342% in the last 20 years whilst the 99% has increased only 14%. Wake up morons.

Anyone who is too ignorant to comprehend what OWS stands for isn't worth wasting your time on, imo.

Who's fault is it if you are just too Dumb to make a decent living. Maybe you should have studied a little harder in the fifth grade instead of jacking off all the time. If you're a loser, guess what, you end up sweeping the streets. Maybe in the next world, dumb ass.

Whining about that property values have fallen and the value of investments have fallen to me is simply a waste of time. Pick yourself up, brush yourself off and move on.

Feeling "screwed over by the banks, insurances companies, doctors/hospitals/ investment brokers, the real estate industry and the politicians in DC" is playing the role of the VICTIM.

Banks can only screw people who borrow MORE than they can afford. Insurance companies? <well thank Obama for FORCING AMERICANS to buy into that>

Doctors/hospitals screwing people? <who knew?>

The real estate industry will improve, as well as our investments <INFLATION is inevitable>

Little girls "Whine" Eleanore.
I'm a woman. A woman with a spine
and self esteem.

If my property values plummet yet my
property taxes go up, you better believe
I'm going to fight to get my taxes lowered.
Oh, and I did, btw.

My bank tried to tack on a $5 surcharge recently.
I now bank with their competition.

Gas prices went up, I bought a car that gets
33 mpg.

See, this is how women get things done.
We bitch a little, but then we take control.
Don't like it, don't read my posts.
In other words, stop YOUR whining.
You republican women have way too much
time on your hands and damn if you aren't
boring as hell. No wonder all your husbands
are cheating on you.

I applaude YOU for taking personal action to EMPOWER your own life.

Perhaps you could empower the "occupiers" so they too could take care of themselves and stop THEIR whining.

Amazing that you think everyone out there is whining. Tell that to US vets who are homeless. Or old people who choose between meds and food every month.
Or how about the 60% of Americans who list "Medical bills" as their #1 reason for filing for personal bankruptcy.

If you are ok with the tilted scales this country is suffering under and if you don't want to hear the OCW protestors whine, then turn off your TV. Problem solved. Personal action, right?

I'm glad someone is making our ineffective leaders squirm and realize that it is we that control them, not the other way around.

So when is OWS going to start stating their OBJECTIVES as being FOOD FOR OLD PEOPLE or MEDICAL BILLS COST TOO MUCH??

I've not seen ANY SIGNS like that. NOTHING about VETS either.

Seems you already turned off YOUR TV and are making up stories about what YOU think OWS is all about.

Their MISSION is to get the rich successful 1% to turn over their riches to the 99%(some of the 99% are well enough off and don't really care and some who just want others to bail them out) Which one are you??

And attempting to shut down the entire West Coast shipping. How is THAT going to HELP ANYONE?? How many ordinary working people are losing money from THAT NONSENSE???

WOW! Eleanor....you missed the point completely.

I have seen interviews with countless OWS protestors. The people included in those on-air interviews were grandmothers, grandfathers, US Vets, US Soldiers, students, graduate students, unemployed union workers, teachers who have been laid off, Gov workers who lost jobs due to austerity measures and many homeless people.

No one wants a bail out, that is, not including the banks. Americans want equality. Do the math Eleanore.

If you earn $10 an hour (which is what WALMART pays) and work 40 hrs, your take home pay is around $300 per wk or $1200 per month. Let's say your rent is $500. Your health insurance is $300 per month. Your car insurance is $100 per month. Food is $400 per month and gas, around $200 per month.

Your bare minimum bills are around $1500 but you only pull in $1200. There is absolutely 0 chance of saving money so the minute the car breaks down or an extra unexpected bill comes in, you are just weeks away from being evicted and on the streets.

Back in the good ole days, our parents didn't deal with this sort of inequality. Pay matched living expenses and people saved for retirement. Nowadays, you can't do it as an 'average' American.

If you think this is ok, you don't care about this country and it's future at all. Thank God OWS does!

Yes, it would be helpful for OWS to work on behalf of the minimum wage worker and PROTEST to increase the minimum wage.(But they haven't done that)

Yes, it would be helpful for OWS to work on behalf of the unemployed and PROTEST the offshoring of jobs.(But they haven't done that either)

And yet, they claim to represent the 99%.

99% do not work at minimum wage jobs. 99% are not unemployed.

What does OWS want the 1% to do FOR the 99%???

Well, you got your wish Eleanor. As expected, GOP slime refuse to compromise on raising taxes on the wealthiest 1% of Americans. Even more stupid, they want the 99% to receive their $1000 tax break, but have no money to fund it. God forbid they ask the fat, lazy, golfing crowd to give their fair share. No. Hell, those people don't send their kids off to war...nor do they pay their fair share. They believe they are BETTER than their fellow Americans in every way and don't have to play by the same rules that hardworking Americans play by. OWS are the only ones who have the cajones to say, "ENOUGH"! I for one applaud them.

In the last 20 years, the 1% has seen 342% rise in income.
In the same 20 years, the 99% has seen a 14% rise in income.
AT this alarming rate, there will be no middle class by the year 2030.

Congress really does depend on the ignorance of the 99%, don't they? People like you, Eleanor, seem perfectly content to bend over and take anything they give you. It would be funny if it weren't so pathetic.

What is that "ANYTHING" that you think "they give"? And why would anyone have to "bend over" to get "it"??

Perhaps I am one of the few that doesn't expect the government to GIVE ME ANYTHING. I am fully capable of taking care of myself without having to, as you say, "bend over" to get ANYTHING.

That's a cop out.
I haven't asked my Government for anything.
I'm a small business owner, as is my husband.
But, the way our government has raised taxes,
the way our insurance companies rape us monthly
and workmans comp, city, county state licences/permits...
we can't save a penny and get this, he charges $65
an hour for electrical services and I charge $70
an hour as a piano instructor/performer.

If we are struggling to get by, imagine those
people at Walmart pulling in $10 an hour. I'm surprised
there aren't more people living on welfare.

Remember when business owners used to make a profit?

Yeah, E, I'm sure you do. Back in the good ole days.
Those days are over. The deck is stacked against
middle America and like I said, I'm going to do something
about it whilst you are happy to sit back, judge the 99%
and say silly things like "you just want a handout".

What I really want is people like you to go back to school
and get an education. Do it for your country before
this Government and the wealthy 1% that controls it,
destroys the middle class and the American dream, completely.

Seems your support of OWS is misplaced. Read your own above complaints: high taxes, too much regulation (city, county state licences/permits). I don't think you have a problem with Wall Street. Seems your grief is caused by the GOVERNMENT.
