The recall Friday came as House investigators said they would hold another hearing in May to review possible electronic problems in runaway Toyotas.

Why don't they just recall all toyotas and get it overwith. And shut down their plants as well.
Thats what Obama wants anyway.

The acceleration problem in my Toyota Sienna is linked to the cruise control. Who should I tell? Anyone have an address. Seems like it would help to tell someone. I don't use the cruise control anymore, obviously. don't know if that is enough. Mine is a 1998. Guess I'll go get the "free inspection" and see if there is a way to report the issue.

So you must really love the excise tax on Cadillac health plans in Obama's healthcare reform law, huh?

You don't think people should have pensions, retirement, and health care?

Or do you think the government should pay for all of it?

I own a 1982 Silverado. Still driving it, with the original motor. It passes inspection every year.

Anyone that tells you American made cars are not as good as Japanese cars is a liar.

I had to pull my friend's Toyota home behind my old pickup truck.

Thanks for outing yourself as an anti-American corporate loving fascist.

Over 2 million AMERICAN people would be out of work without the loan guarantees provide by the feds, which is not a "bailout" as you are told by your masters at FUXED Noise. GM, Chrysler, and their assorted suppliers employ this many Americans, and we would be in a crisis the likes of which we've never seen- so failure was not an option.

Toyota is a superb example of corporate malfeasance run amok, without enough government oversight.

Well, IHerr BlkTrckDrvr, I own a Prius and I commute 120 miles round trip every day, and I get 51 MPG, and I'd be real happy to buy an American car that can do the job as well. Guess what? There are none. So f*** that.

Sorry Johnny, I have a 1996 Corolla with 300K miles and I've done nothing but change the oil, change the tires, and deal with normal maintenance for 14 years. My father is a conservative retired cop, and he used to buy American cars only - for a long time Fords only - then he had 3 lemons in a row, and that was that, he switched to Toyotas and Hondas and he hasn't looked back.

You're the one who needs to wake up. The Fusion gets 35 MPG, not 51 MPG. the Prius gets 45% better gas mileage, and that saves me about $1,000 per year in fuel costs. Like I said, I drive 120 miles every day. You don't have to be a liberal to understand the cost savings there, do you?

"Jap" built vehicle? What's the shame in owning a Honda or a Toyota?
