If you look at what's what, American trucks are just superior in their nature. The Japanese team that designed the Tundra (or the Titan for that matter) will all drive home in a Toyota iQ (basically a smart car), and they don't understand the nature of a truck. The people who design trucks for GM, Ford, and Dodge will drive those trucks home every night and will use them as working vehicles on the weekend. They understand trucks better.<quoted text>You just won't give it a rest, will you.
With fierce competition eating away at Prius sales, Toyota is trying to fight back with a newer model. Hopefully this one wont be recalled.

I completely agree with you. Generally speaking, American pickups have it all over the Japanese brands. I know one guy with a new Tundra. I've ridden with him a few times to go to lunch and it seems like a very nice, quiet riding vehicle. He bought it to use as a car (I don't think he's had anything in the bed yet, at all). I have no idea how it would fare as a work truck.
